You don't know if it's wet or just dirty it's a surprise

Great transportation but seats are all dirty really gross you don't know what bodily fluid is on them

Clean, convenient public transport in Florida?! I'd have said you're kidding. A Sunrail ride from Sanford to Sand Lake was a great experience, as the train was fast and clean and the stations looked nice as well. We're no regular riders but saw a lot of commuters who mostly got off at the Church Street and Florida Hospital for Women station. I also like that the ticket can be used to transfer to a Lynx bus, and it was easy to use as well. I'd happily take Sunrail again!

We have arrived. Here are done photos.

I know it was a free ride, but it was great fun. The upper level was the best place to ride since it was much cooler up there and you could really see the landscape better. My husband and I boarded the Sunrail train at the Sand Lake station. The train stopped at the following stations from Sand Lake: Orlando Health/Amtrak, Church Street, Lynx Central, Fl Hospital Health Village, Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Sanford, and finally DeBary. We boarded the train at 1:45pm and got off in DeBary at 3:15 (half hour late). The train was PACKED on the way there. Standing room only. The available seats were spacious and comfortable. All the passengers were very pleasant though and so was the crew. Once we got to DeBary, we got off. We hoped to see some restaurants or fast food places, but there was just one lonely old convenience store and a guy named Jake, selling BBQ food on the side road in his yard. Gotta hand it to him - thinking outside the box like that. Good Luck, Jake. (See my photos on Sunrail for a pic of his place.) On the way back from DeBary the train was almost empty. Once we hit Sanford, though, the train started getting fuller. I would say that when we finally arrived back at the Sand Lake station, the train was about 1/3rd full. Next time we take a ride, I will definitely stop and get off at the Winter Park station. It is so close to all the downtown shopping and eateries. Hopefully if the train becomes popular the other stations will do the same. Oh, yeah ... I did meet a guy who lives within walking distance of the Longwood station and was actually on the train for a reason - to go to the LYNX station and attend a meeting at a downtown church. Best of luck to you Sunrail!

Lots of parking space is what I enjoy about this station. Located right behind a Dennys and McDonalds, you have options for indoor air and a drink if you need to wait for a train. An attendant is usually available to let you know if you missed your train or if there are other concerns. I have left my car here for overnight trips. I just leave a very visible sign on the dash to let them know when I am expected to pick it up. My thinking is that this may prevent a possible towing if someone feels the car might be abandoned.

I love the special seating for Premium riders. It's a comfortable lounge with access to complimentary wine and beer and snacks that you can enjoy while you await the departure time for your train. The Premium part of the train is amazing. I took the 12:30 departure and you then receive two drinks (even cocktails!) and a very nice lunch. My lunch consisted of a chicken and roasted corn pasta salad, a small cucumber and feta salad and caramel cheesecake. (The other selection was an arugula and spinach salad with hummus and veggies, plus a mango cheesecake.) I thought the lunch was very good! There is plenty of room for your carryon luggage in the racks above the seats, the seats are roomy and very comfortable and the staff in this section is friendly and attentive. (Special shout out to Monet!) The only slight issue is the vehicle traffic into and out of the Brightline terminal area. There is only one lane in and one lane out and I experienced heavy traffic that morning entering the station. It took nearly 10 minutes to get from the turn off into the Brightline entrance to the terminal itself as it was bumper to bumper traffic all the way in. Overall though, a great way to get from Orlando to South Florida in a relaxing ride there!

We did stop by the counter to print our tickets for the QR codes we needed for entry into the track terminal. Staff were friendly and helpful. I even noticed an Orlando Police Department Officer assisting travelers with scanning QR codes and directing others into the terminal. We were early so we had a seat in the waiting area that's located between the convenience/gift shop and Mary Mary bar. They were multiple seating options but limited amount of seats. It was recommended to us to get there early if we wanted to be able to sit while we wait. We chose a set of 4 large blue chairs with a table in the center. The seats were comfortable and the table provided us with space to have a snack before the trip. Our train was on time and we boarded as scheduled.

This is a totally relaxing experience when compared with the "free ride" period which ran at max passenger capacity. If you are interested in SunRail try it now while it's new and you have to pay. It's worth the cost. The joyriders made it a nightmare, but it's not like that now. I see the cars driving on I-4 as the train pulls out of downtown Orlando. I am so so happy to have a mass transit option, but SunRail is still working out the timing kinks here in Central Florida. This station - there is seating on metal benches and a short shade canopy over the benches at Church Street. It's okay seating, but unlikely it will provide much shade or protection from Florida's summer torrential rains. There is no dedicated SunRail parking lot here, but lots of garage and City of Orlando parking downtown. Come try it out, it's so much better than driving yourself.

Outstanding Service Every Time!…read more We have used Nick's Airport Shuttle several times now for roundtrips from Palm Coast to both Jacksonville and Orlando airports, and every experience has been excellent. Most recently, we booked them to pick up our daughter from Orlando, and they'll soon be taking our large group to the airport for our trip to Alaska. No matter the occasion, Nick's team always delivers. Using Nick's shuttle feels like having your own personal driver. The vehicles are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The drivers are professional, punctual, and friendly, and Nick himself is a great guy--a fellow Navy veteran who takes pride in his business and his customers. His attention to detail and reliability make travel so much easier. Update - October 2025: We recently traveled to Canada and returned on a one-way cruise to Miami. Nick's shuttle took us to Jacksonville for our flight, and two weeks later, he was right there in Miami to pick us up after the cruise. That seamless coordination made our vacation stress-free from start to finish. We love using Nick's service because it truly takes the hassle out of travel and lets us focus on enjoying the journey. We will continue to use Nick's Airport Shuttle for all our future trips. If you want peace of mind, professionalism, and a friendly face to get you where you need to go, Nick's is the best choice. This last trip rather than trying to juggle everyone's schedule I looked into Executive Livery to go to the Orlando Airport. That was a great decision that I highly recommend. When I went on the site I was a bit surprised that I needed to enter my contact info and I believe it was a Sunday. But I received a call back within 15 minutes at the most! The whole process was an absolute breeze. I spoke with Jeffrey Kabool, the owner, who discussed itinerary and needs with me. Everything was set up that day for a very reasonable price. I was informed who my driver would be the day before my trip and when he arrived in the compound he asked where I preferred for him to park (below ground or above). Of course he loaded the luggage and the vehicle was stocked , in case I was thirsty. The trip was comfortable and went by quickly. So rather than either trying to get connecting flights and switching planes to get a direct flight into Melbourne Florida, or inconvenience family or friends to have them pick you up or drop you off to or from Orlando, by all means give Executive Livery Service a try.
