We learned a lot throughout the tour and it was a great experience for the whole family. We especially loved the complete darkness experience and the black light portion of the tour. Those were definitely some of our favorite parts. Overall, it was a really fun tour and we are so glad we went. I would definitely recommend Stark Caverns for families!

Sadly our guide Macy was less "passionate cave enthusiast" and more "reciting a script she's said a thousand times and stopped listening to herself." I still don't know how this part of Missouri used to be an ocean based on the tour. She gave the exact same intro four separate times. Not because groups were bumping into each other, just straight up robot mode, probably from also trying to work in the photo package pitch every single time. Ask a follow up question and you'd get a shrug dressed up as an answer. A kid asked about a mineral and got a confident "nope, not that" immediately followed by "I'm not really a gem expert," which, ma'am, pick one. Nobody could tell us where all the clay that used to be in the cave went (there's a lot of water now after the excavation), how the bootleggers pulled off their operation, or whether the cave's ever taken earthquake damage. Also they sell alcohol at the gift shop right before you head into a dark cave, which feels like a liability seminar waiting to happen. What indigenous tribe did the skeleton remains belong to? How did you know it was an indigenous person(s)? What is the difference between an arrowhead and a spear, and when did those relics be given to be on display? She said the stairs were built by child labor because there are child sized handprints in the concrete, but provided no evidence of truth or why. Was it his 18 kids? No one knows. At least it was cool inside while the weather was hot outside. The cave has a story to tell. Macy just wasn't the one telling it. Would recommend the cave, would not recommend Macy. She already told us she's had a bad Yelp review, and I'm sad to say I understand why.

Amazing experience...because of the people!…read more I took my 8 and 9 year old on this excursion and we all had a blast. It's safe, fun, and accessible for all. There are activities and places to play or simply kick-back...and of course the excitement of sailing through the trees! We arrived early and enjoyed a picnic lunch, a hammock and game of bags before our tour began. The three lines escalate in terms of adventure, but this experience is more than Ziplines if you are interested in caring for our planet. This truly is an eco-park. Shannon and Kevin have worked to create an experience that has minimal environmental impact and are working on innovative new ways to support native habitats and conserve natural resources. The Eco-Loo is my favorite. No smelly park latrines here. This innovative restroom is completely environmentally friendly and pleasant. It's made from reused and sustainable materials, includes passive solar and rain capture and it smells better (and is decorated better) than most flush restrooms!! Your job is simply to scoop in some wood chips after you do your business. Shannon and Kevin are super and real. I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

The boat was clean, very comfortable, the views were gorgeous and I definitely appreciated the lake and fell in love with it. I could see that there were pre-booked tables on the boat along with food but we did not choose that service and enjoyed the area near the deck along with some over priced drinks haha - I got Diet Coke for around $5-6. Overall, we had fun and I would highly recommend it as a fun and easy activity near the Ozarks.

My kid had over 600 tickets and prizes were very reasonably priced. There was also a different case of silly kinds of gifts you'd find at a garage sale or your grandmother's basement. The…read morecaptain and crew were very thorough with going over safety measures, which made my dad feel safe enough to fly for the first time. They took extra care and precaution with my son, too. The mate, Tim, took so many good photos of myself and my family. He was super friendly and joked around with my family to make sure they were comfortable. The captain had my mother fly twice to make sure our weight was distributed enough to make the ride safe for me and my son, so she was stoked! The boat ride in was super fun too! The captain took us for a special ride back in. 10/10 would recommend !

My friend and I have gone to this pool several times this summer. The young men and women they have…read morehired to be their lifeguards truly take their job seriously. On one visit we witnessed a lifeguard during her break and on her own take a couple of bottles of water to an elderly gentleman waiting for his great grandchildren. It was very hot that day, it was not her job to do this but she did a try Hunan kindness. Today, we were in the pool and the group of lifeguards gave a little boy who is a regular at the pool a lifeguard t-shirt, and let him carry a lifeguard float around. The little guy just beamed with pride and happiness. Again they didn't have to do this, it wasn't in their job description, but they made a young boy very happy. He probably won't ever forget this day. You have an amazing group of young people working at your pool. You should be very proud!!
