There has been no need for rework or problems afterwards. I appreciate the SPF protection provided by the quality XPEL tint. While there I asked about tinting a panoramic all glass roof for a different vehicle. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and explained why it should not be done, while other tint shops at that time were willing to do it. Also, please note that window tint laws are not direct. What the states publish are guidelines, since there is also the laws intent to work off of. This means that if it says you can't tint front windows, courts in certain states will allow it if it's a light tint, that one can see through.

It looks like the big brother of plastic wrap, but is sturdier and comes in different degrees of tint--customer's choice. We chose NEW YORK CITY WINDOW TINTING, which we found on Yelp, where they've earned many excellent reviews. (I'm finally adding mine!) Jerry Ciccio is the principle. He did an excellent job on all my windows. The cost was reasonable, he and his helper arrived as planned, and finished and cleaned up very well. If you wish, you may use my name as a positive reference. Pricing goes by the size of the window(s). You'll have to do some measuring in advance, send the dimensions to him, and then Jerry can give you an estimate. He'ss answer any of your questions and concerns, and is a very congenial guy. Now that the sun is aimed directly at us, the difference is great!

Manhattan Shade and Associates is a terrible company. We tasked them with replicating an existing…read moreshade and, except for two child protection elements that are required by law, they said that they could do so. Unfortunately, (as is evidenced by the photos, with their shade being the top one in both images) they failed miserably. After installation we noticed that the fabric was not draping properly. This was not noticed until after they left, and the lights were turned on in the room creating shadows with the fabric. They took zero responsibility here and said that they steamed the shade before they left and have decades of experience. That was it. End of conversation concerning this as they basically disappeared ignoring emails and phone messages, forcing us to spend a lot more money to have another company repair their inadequate work. Of course, this lack of communication from them was after full payment was made. There are lots of other companies to choose from in the New York metropolitan area and Manhattan Shade and Associates should be the very last resort. Stay away.
