    My van was broken into or I should just say that my window was smashed because there was nothing to steal. And they chose to smash the big window on the cargo door rather than a smaller window up front. I'm thinking this is going to cost $300 at least. After recommendations from a couple friends in the area and the countless positive Yelp reviews I call up Bob's. Explained the situation, gave the make and model, was told it'll be $200 and I could drop my van off in an hour or so. Which I did. The ordering of the glass and installation took approximately 2 hours. Nice and smooth! They did an excellent job while being very customer friendly! I now know why this spot comes highly recommended! Hopefully I won't be in need of any window replacement services anytime in the near future. If so, I know right where to go!

    Someone broke my window and i was devasted, my insurance was way to high, i called every where and every where was so high. Someone told me bobs auto glass and it was affordable! Fast! And good! Every one was very nice!! I highly recommend this place.

Jon was also incredibly understanding and flexible, especially with the possibility of rain and my limited garage space.     I had an appointment from 9-11 am. No one came. Around 11:30 they call me to tell me they are 30…read moremins away. I asked them why didn't they communicate as I have other obligations. I made sure to be home at the time being that I was coming from work and I sat in my car for 2 hours waiting for them and they never showed. 12:30 they still didn't come they are calling me trying to confirm my address when that information was communicated the day prior. After so much delay making me late to other obligations I asked them to cancel as they had no regards to my time and no accountability. Things happen, delays happen but you have to communicate. They offered me a $25 discount which I thought was a slap in the face. I was about to spend $600. I told them to forget it, I was going to do business with them because I was referred to them but the experience was so bitter that I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. A lady calls me back asking me if I'm sure I want to cancel I said yes because they don't respect me nor my time. I informed her I will fix my window elsewhere. She refused to take accountability then tells me "f you b*tch". I hung up. I never rose my voice at her, I never cursed at her. It's pretty bold for them to call me to curse me out when they messed my whole day up due to their lack of professionalism.

The damage wasn't major, but it was enough to require a body shop. I was extremely upset and, to be honest, very hesitant about trusting any repair shop. I had a few sleepless nights worrying that my car would never be the same again. Since I live in Jersey City, we drove the car (it was still drivable) to East Coast Collision, and from the moment we arrived, my anxiety started to ease. The first gentleman who assessed the vehicle--later I learned his name is Chris--was professional, calm, and thorough. The shop itself immediately impressed me: clean, well-lit, organized, and extremely professional. I'm 56 years old and have been around long enough to know when a business is legitimate. This place is the real deal. While sitting in the passenger seat, another gentleman came down the ramp, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally moved my car. I don't know his name, but he carried himself like an owner or senior leader--polite, confident, and clearly someone who takes pride in the business. The whole interaction felt respectful and reassuring. When my car was pulled inside the shop, I saw the interior--and honestly, I was blown away. The place was lit up like a stadium. You could see every detail. There were several high-end vehicles being repaired, and everything looked precise and professional. This was not one of those shady, insurance-shortcut shops. This was top-tier, legit work. They sat me down, explained the entire process, and even coordinated an Enterprise rental seamlessly. At that point, I felt confident leaving my "baby" in their care. About a week later, I got devastating news from the insurance company: my car was declared a total loss. I was crushed. It felt like losing a family member. From what looked like minor damage--a scrape, a busted light, a bumper--the car was suddenly gone. I was in disbelief and honestly depressed. When we returned to the shop, we spoke with Chris and Marissa Riccardi, who I later learned are siblings and part of the family that owns East Coast Collision. Marissa stepped right up, took charge, and patiently answered every question we had. She and Chris explained everything in detail and made thoughtful recommendations--never rushed, never dismissive. I was stubborn and emotional. I wasn't ready to let go of a car that had taken me everywhere--Florida, Virginia, Washington D.C., Vermont, Lake George, Pennsylvania, Boston, and countless trips throughout the tri-state area. That car was part of my life. Chris and Marissa showed genuine care and empathy. They helped me understand the situation and made an incredibly difficult transition much easier. They even allowed me time to remove my personal belongings, knowing how hard this was for me. Because of East Coast Collision, I can now move forward and eventually purchase my next vehicle--something I honestly couldn't imagine doing at first. I give East Coast Collision in Jersey City a five-star, five-diamond review without hesitation. Hats off to Chris, Marissa, that gentleman who greeted me out front, and the entire team--from top to bottom. Even the atmosphere and cleanliness spoke volumes. East Coast was one of the places certified by GEICO and after reading reviews for some of the others, coming here was a no brainer. Happy to report that the reviews are all spot on. From the upbeat and kind attitude of the folks that answer the phones to the experienced and honest technicians that fix the cars, the whole team is just a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly, the car came back looking brand new and the pricing was more than fair. Needing bodywork sucks. Having to deal with shady and disreputable auto bodies makes it even worse, so save yourself the headache and just go here!

Check in was fast no issues. Then a service attendant came out to talk to me at which point I was already waiting for 35 minutes to let me know it would be a long wait. I did tell him I had no choice but to wait. I am at least 30 miles from home and do not have another means of transportation. The at home service was not available in my area. I have to honestly say if I didn't pay for this through my insurance I would definitely have walked out already. I am writing this review as I go into a 4 hour wait time. Ridiculous. Schedules need to improve for patron satisfaction. I can't even commit on the quality of the work since I am still waiting. Don't book a service unless you seriously have all day to sit in a waiting area with no heat. It's freezing! It's still winter here in New Jersey you need to put the heat on. Not good !!!!
