Was happy that the Feasterville location opened, as it is close to my house. I had always been happy with my experience at ForEyes as a long-time customer. Until this time. In picking out frames, Lamia continued to bring me frames that were not my style - even after I explained to her what I was looking for and showed her examples. Even worse, at one point she went out to smoke a cigarette, and came back REEKING, forcing me to be exposed to the toxic odor and chemicals coming from her. My pick up experience was even worse. An employee who had no idea what they (not sure of the gender) were doing, and made me stand there for several minutes while they just cluelessly kept typing stuff into the system - until finally an employee who knew what they were doing came up to rescue them, telling them that they could just let me go with the glasses and that they just needed to keep the paperwork. I am utterly disappointed in this year's eyeglass purchase experience, and questioning whether I will go back - which is sad, given the 40 years of me being a loyal customer of the For Eyes retail institution.

We were in need of a quick and cheap pair of glasses after stepson lost his new expensive pair, and we were not inclined to make the same mistake twice (Shame on me.). The white coats here were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We walked in about 20 minutes before they pulled down the chain security fence, but in that time we were able to pick a frame, take measurements, and pay for the glasses (under $100). Sonny boy wasn't happy he was being forced to wear a less rad pair, but he had earned that downgrade. After all, he wasn't offering to pay for anything, despite his negligence. But, I was happy to make a point with him, while the professionals at this small nook in the huge Walmart showed how it should be done. Many thanks, and hope the lesson was learned. But Erin, who was fun as well as a total sweetheart, helped us with the different types of lens options,etc once he decided on a frame he liked. She also explained which frames could handle the lenses for his particular prescription which was pretty nice. Although he didn't get them that day, she had no issues with writing down estimates for the various lens formulas with the frames and even offered to call to the store nearest him to see if they had them in stock. I went back to find a new box and opened them to confirm I would be getting a non scratched up machine and unfortunately all seemed to have marks or indentations in the cup holder. For a relatively small place, I really like their frames selection and I would imagine that they have a slew of others as well, ie contacts, sunglasses, etc. The prices seem relatively competitive in the area. Insurance coverage for these are always kinda insignificant so it's always so disappointing as it's expensive to get a good pair of glasses.
