The maze is a huge picture! As you explore, you can try to sketch the paths. The answer is shown at the end, but it's a secret (and new each year) so I won't post any photos of our sketches. They do post previous years mazes on their website and social media, though. When we visited, there were also hayrides available, lots of snacks and beverages at reasonable prices, and a booth from a local Orchard which had apples, apple dumplings, and apple cider. The place is beautiful during the day and when it gets dark. I'd suggest bringing the flashlight or two if you plan to visit after the sun sets. There were lots of people working at the maze and everyone was exceptionally friendly. The maze was challenging and a lot of fun.

The family feeds their hens a 100% organic soy-free feed and gives them access to open pastures for 365 days per year. They feed their berkshire pigs a 100% organic soy-free feed and put them on pasture year-round. They feed their belted galloway cattle 100% grass and hay on open pastures. They do not administer any hormones or antibiotics to their animals. So far, I have purchased this farm's chicken eggs, ham, chuck roast, and rump roast. I made the purchases through the website Market Wagon. My husband, dog, and I greatly enjoyed the freshness and flavors of all of these foods. Examples of this farm's other foods are steaks, ribs, ground beef, hotdogs, sausage, kielbasa, green peppers, and banana peppers. I feel happy that this family takes such excellent care of their animals and that their foods are such a high quality, so I will continue to buy their foods in the future.

This is an iconic Pittsburgh institution and what it lacks in size relative to other botanical gardens in the world, it makes up for it in beauty. Take the greenhouses, the structures are hundreds of years old and are beautifully and painstakingly restored. The current Panama exhibit is fantastic showcasing tropical flora and fauna. This is also a great place to bring kids. The butterfly exhibit is on hold for renovations, but when it's back on your have to bring your kiddos here to see it. Also, their annual train display is always a showstopper. So many noteworthy things to say but that's all for now.

The organizers do a great job of making this safe, fun and family friendly. The best part may be the vendors, music and entertainment along the way. Like to stop and see some of the vendors and music and lumber jack throw. Fun to talk with the vendors and others stopped at places along the way. Some nice food options. We started on the Southside and did the loop across the Birmingham Bridge to the Armstrong tunnel, did not go into downtown. Then we did the Southside bike trail to Homestead to actually get some biking in. If you have kids come out and enjoy.
