Coffee is still garbage. Decided to try it again because we're walking back from the beach. The "regulars" to this place must really NOT know what coffee is. When you order a latte or something similar here, you basically get a "beverage" that's mostly your creamer of choice and an ever so slight hint of coffee. Again... Gas station coffee is better and higher quality than what you get here. All these 2+ star reviews are just liars. Unless this place gets replaced or new owners who KNOW how to make coffee take over, this place is just pointless for coffee. read more

My husband and I stopped by while in the area and we loved the vibe of this cute little coffee shop! The baristas were so sweet and gave us some great recommendations on what to try. I also got a slice of the GIANT banana bread which was delicious. My husband got a blueberry muffin and it was sadly really dry (to the point he threw it away after 3 bites) so that's the only reason for 4 stars. read more

A must stop! If you're passing through and looking for a local coffee stop I'd highly recommend this shop. A few friends and I stopped in to grab coffee, I got an iced vanilla latte, my friends did specialty drinks both iced and hot. All were really well done and the prices weren't too bad. We took a minute to decide and the staff were very friendly about it, the service was quick. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as a restroom. Parking was easy. Cute little coffee shop! Food: expensive, but very tasty. The coffee typically runs a little strong here, but not in a bad way! A lot of options, and it typically doesnt take too long to get. Service: polite and friendly, a little overworked sometimes because it can get quite busy in there. I'm honestly really impressed that they got seemingly everyone's orders right with so many orders coming in at a time Ambiance: its a small place, cozy. Can get quite hot inside, but the service is fast and there's really cute outside seating you dont have to stay inside if you dont want! Can get reeeeally packed in there, making the inside eating experience a little loud. Overall: tasty, reliable and high quality. A little expensive, but worth it! read more

Another summer has come and I wanted to update my review of Sunrise Kava Cafe as this is a business i frequent seasonally about 6 months out of the year. In 2021 same great coffee and Lattes (best in greater Oscoda area hands down) that Are my primary reason for visiting this business where I tend to tie it into my morning walks through Oscoda. Friendly service is still a strong suit as well. Love the fresh flowers that are on the inside of the building that come from there own garden that surrounds the building. They have ample outdoor seating that really comes in handy as this business is definately flourishing where indoor seating quickly fills up during busy times. Having said that there is nothing better than drinking a fresh cup of hot coffee on a nice summer day while relaxing on one of their adirondek chairs Less than a block from Lake Huron. Coffee drinks aside, they have a limited menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches along with fresh pastries. I have sampled many of these where they are well made and very tasty. Just recently I had their club sandwich on ciabatta that was excellent and had thick cut bacon that I found very tasty. if you are out and about in this area and are looking for a great cup of Joe or a light bite to eat for breakfast or lunch than you should definately check this place out. Best coffee shop in Oscoda! I love their cold brew and my 16 year old loves their bubble tea. They also have a nice selection of soup, sandwiches, and baked goods. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and great at making suggestions if you can't make up your mind. My family visits the area 2-3 times a year and we stop in every time. read more

Approaching the shop, the outside is inviting, beautiful sign and seating! Inside is just as warm and welcoming. There are a few small tables and counter to sit at to enjoy your treats. All of the employees smiled and greeted us, as well as offered friendly conversation while we were there! There is a large selection of hot and cold drinks, we opted for cold brew and it was delicious. There is a selection of yummy looking pastries to choose from. Each of us (parents and 4 kids) picked a different treat to enjoy and all of them were scrumptious. This was a hit! We visited during a long weekend stay in Oscoda. The coffees we had were both delicious. We tried a hot caramel latte and an iced fluffer nutter latte. The sugar cookies have a spice to them and are very soft! My husband also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and said it was good. It seemed like everybody knew each other when we were there which made for a warm environment. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again when in town!! read more

Quaint little coffee shop near the beach, mostly a walkup shop, as it's small. We only ordered coffee as the line was long and had an appt. Their coffee was bright and good. The layout however is awful, the pickup area is right behind the entrance door, and the line starts in the back of the building so it's a constant dance of customers trying to stay out of everyone's way, and awkward looks. They should add an entrance of Lake. read more

Upon arriving the flowers are stunning. That mixed with the colors on the building and the seating choices you can tell this shop is special. Fresh flowers everywhere and fresh coffee and pastries. We had the bubble tea and it was delicious. Both breakfast choices we got were delicious. The blueberry muffin just tastes fresh...and the croissant was delicious and the sandwich was made with care. There so many things to try here and the staff was so accommodating and helped me pick the right drink. Great place to start the day right when in Oscoda. read more

What a great find in Oscoda! Came in for a to-go cappuccino, as they're really the only game in town for anything espresso, and was not disappointed. The CUTEST little house on a great corner by the beach park, it has great vibes. The staff is fun and gracious, they were warm and friendly and very cool to chat with. Cappuccino was perfect, and my pastry was really good too. Thankful for their take away service during these times, just the kind of good people and business you want to support. Will definitely be back when in town and will make sure all my coworkers know about the best coffee in town. Pure awesomeness. Love! read more

The girl (who was very nice) dropped my cup on the floor, poured my drink in it, and gave it to me! Yuck! She was very helpful about answering my questions regarding allergies and when she discovered that the pastry that I wanted (pecan brownie) was mislabeled and was actually an apple strudel she was very helpful. Unfortunately, the apple strudel left much to be desired. This is a super cute little coffee shop with some local artist work. They just need to not be so lax on hygiene. read more

I've been going here for the past 4 years, always during 4th of july or labor day weekend. Never had a bad experience. I'm such a sucker for a small town cafe and this place is perfect for me.
