    Rate = $20.99 / Day

    I've been using Sunrise Parking for years. Since most of my travels in the past were business trips, I did not complain about their bait & switch practices. For example, website states $18.99 daily rate, but when I got a quote online it changed the rate to $19.99. Then I get an email confirmation with a rate of $20.99. At this point I assumed that it was because my vehicle is an SUV; but then again at this point there is no indication of the type of vehicle. Finally, after my trip I was charged the rate on the email quote plus an extra dollar per day for SUV. So, in conclusion, the $18.99 rate + $1.00 for SUV (total $19.99 per day) was charged at $21.99 per day. The rest of the charges are not an issue as those are clearly stated. This is very bad business and it looks like they are setting themselves up for a class-action lawsuit. BUYER BEWARE! @SUNRISE PARKING - Be careful of your shady practices; one of these days you might get served...

    The sign out front is misleading. It says $25 which I was led to believe was the price. If you look above this there's a tiny hidden sign that says $35. I wouldn't have minded paying $35 but I was misled to believe it was $25. I told the cashier how I felt about it, he put me on the phone with a woman who talked over me and wouldn't let me get a word in. When I mentioned I'd be leaving a review they got very rude and asked me to pay and leave unkindly. (The only positive to the experience where the shuttle drivers who are wonderful and give 11/10 service)

    Ask the Community - Sunrise LAX Parking

    Do Sunrise LAX Parking customers arriving at LAX need to call for the shuttle? Or is the shuttle…

    You'll need to call for the shuttle once you arrive at LAX. They work on a call basis. Expect delays as long as 40 minutes (personal experience), due to traffic and they usually only have one shuttle running.

    How is the security at your parking lot ?? Do you have a 24 hour guard and/or security cameras during the day and the night?

    Thank you for your inquiry. We’re pleased to share that we have never experienced any security issues or break-ins at our airport parking facility. For your peace of mind, we have surveillance cameras installed at both the entrance and exit to…

    Does the shuttle go to San Pedro cruise docks?

    No, We only go back and forth to lax airport terminals.

The big food festival that happens every week is what initially brought me to the Row and there is so much to discover there. I also often come here to charge my Tesla ~ charging on Level 5. The Row opened almost 10 years ago on the edge of Arts District and is spread across 30 acres. As mentioned with the charging, they do have a parking garage which is really nice when coming here. And it's a nice garage, well kept and clean, free for 2 hours with validation. You never need to worry about parking when you come here! Like much of Arts District, it's kind of industrial chic vibes. It's an open-air spot with just lovely landscaping and seating all around. There are some excellent food options like Pikunico and Hayato, as well as Go Get Em Tiger for coffee needs. Very cool stores including concept spots and trendy clothing shops. And i'm def getting my next tattoo at Nonfromseoul. Aside from the brick & mortar shops and restaurants and weekly Sunday Smorgasburg, I've been to some other smaller cultural fests & pop ups here. It's always trendy and cute at ROW DTLA!

That being said, ROW DTLA is a dreamscape when it comes to filming content and just catching city vibes in a safe space. Located near the Arts District this space of buildings used to be utilized for the textile industry. With multi floored buildings creating rows of foot traffic on the ground this space is perfect for events, pop ups, and get togethers. It's one of the reasons why Smorgasburg is held here on Sundays. It's why on any given weekend there may be an event being held, whether it be to celebrate AAPI month or the different creatives in the area. This space is filled with homegrown businesses and unique shops to visit. One of my favorite places is Hightide which is a Japanese stationary and supplies shop. The vibes are immaculate and walking in really feels like being in a store in Japan. Another popular space is Scent Bar for those who love perfume and are aromaphiles. With plenty of small curated artists being featured in this apothecary of aromas, Scent Bar is a nice stop whilst visiting the Row. If you're looking for interesting and discussion worthy furniture A+R is a must, located at one of the ends of the Row. For good coffee with artistic vibes you got to check out GGET (Go Get Em Tiger). Next to that if you're looking for stronger waters is Flask & Field with smaller batch and independent distilleries and crafters. All of this and the parking is free for the first 2 hours. In LA, that's unheard of! And it's a large parking structure with modern infrastructure. Blessed. With all this, hopefully ROW DTLA will continue to grow with more businesses and still retain its charm as time marches forward. Good for a short stay or half a day, if you're looking for things to do in LA proper, ROW DTLA is worth your drive.

The Perishing Square lot has sketchiness as well, but there are several reasons that I choose to park here if I'm going to Downtown LA in areas south of Skid Row. (In areas north of skid row, I'd park in Little Tokyo). First, if you park here on the weekends or after 5pm on weekdays, they have a flat rate for $9. During work hours on weekdays, the rate would be around $20 if you stay longer than 2 hours ($3 per 15 min with $20 max). Second, though the area is sketchy, there is security and this is a covered lot. Even the presence of security is a step up from most of the lots in the area. It may be only as good as a car alarm; however, I'll take it. Lastly, I feel that it's pretty conveniently located to key attractions in DTLA like Grand Central Market, Jewelry District, and some of the hotels in the area. In terms of safety and convenience, DTLA is one of the worst places to park in Los Angeles; however, I think this lot is one of the best of the worst. Note: entrances to this lot can be found on 5th and 6th streets between Hill and Olive. Note: If you are intending to go to Little Tokyo, Arts District, or north of skid row, look up the Aiso parking lot.

The payment process is bizarre. Sure, you take a ticket at the entry gate as usual. You don't use it to exit - see below Yes, the escalators don't work and obviously never will. They are used as staircases now, which is bad because the individual steps are much bigger, making it especially tricky to use. There are locked restrooms on P1. Just hope you can find someone to open them. You supposedly need to show that you have a parking ticket. There was a "security" woman sleeping in the office nearby You take elevators up to Pershing Square, so no problems there After returning you go to machines on P1, insert the ticket and payment card to receive another card, which you are supposed to use at the exit gates. You are reminded by many signs that there are no cashiers at the gates. Well, there was a man at the gate I approached. He kept pointing (at what?) and I was eventually told to go to another gate (no reason why), which was staffed by another non-cashier.
