Still fun to visit on weekends when they host smorgasbord fair. Lots of cool design and fashion boutique shops and a few Michelin star places to dine at. Great oyster and pizza restaurants that have won many awards and my favorite the pikunico Japanese fried chicken place that has been there since Row opened. Free first 2 hours parking. Super safe with plenty of Sercurity.

4++ open air concept houses some of the most respected and well known restaurants and food concepts in Los Angeles. I've been here multiple times now. By virtue having a few of the most popular restaurants in LA as well as Smorgasburg on Sundays, there is a large selection of food and eateries to experience. And also just want to know that the restaurants that have the Michelin stars here don't get their stars for not having good service. Because of the different levels of places here, there are places that fit everyone's budget as well as places where you go to splurge. I've been to Smorgasburg of course as well as Kato, Hayato, and Pizzeria Bianco among other spots and a big fan of all of them. My grip is that it is kind of on its own little island where you have to make this place a destination vs being integrated in to other popular areas in the city. There's a parking lot here that seems great but other times I've been here of Ashley parked on the street a few times to avoid the large crowds. And I was feeling particularly cheap. I will say, though if you decide to park out of the lot at night just make sure you feel safe. Thee is security that walks around, but it's also in a more industrial neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles.

** parking garage only** Huuge parking garage, weirdly empty. Honestly not much here except boutique shops in a maze. The bathrooms are clean and its gated. I wish they made better use of the real estate here, it'd be a really good place for shops/ coffee places or small unique concepts. They do have some cute boutiques but prices do be expensive and needs more food options. The parking garage is clean, well lit, the surrounding streets outside are a bit sketchy, but less than before. Security staff were super nice.

Came to The ROW for the DoorDash Pop-Up and Smorgasburg and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The ROW kind of looks like what most people expect DTLA to feel like before actually visiting : clean, stylish, and industrial-chic. It's right next to the Arts District, so there's a cool creative vibe to the area. Had a lot of fun here! Bonus points for the 2 hours of free parking, which is rare for LA. There are a few cafes and shops around, but to be honest, it doesn't get much foot traffic except on Sundays. Most of the time (Monday through Saturday), it feels pretty empty. Still, definitely worth checking out if there's an event happening!

This was a fun converted industrial site (I think) that has multiple shops and eateries. To be fair we were there for Pizzeria Bianco but liked the whole area. Lots of retail shops and eateries abound and its a pleasant stroll through the area. There was ample parking and the area was clean. Did I mention Bianco?

This place is kinda hard to find even though it's so large. Parking is good though, free for the first two hours and there's plenty of it. There's lots of shops in this little out door mall and a couple restaurants as well. I'm we heard about a pop up that was happening here. It was a grand opening of a new clothing store called Things Between so we decided to check it out. They had complementary drinks like iced tea and water. They also had complementary coffee and matcha! Such a fun treat while shopping. It was also Mother's Day weekend for they had lots of fun activities for families to enjoy. Overall it was a very pleasant shopping experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. Check out Things Between if yo tie in the area.

huge parking structure free the first two hours.. where else in LA??

ROW DTLA feels like an oasis city within of LA! It is clean, safe, & well manicured- such a welcome retreat in the downtown area. So much to shop & eat. Honorable mention to the crave worthy chicken at Pikunico & adorable cardigans at Things Between. Add this to your LA itinerary- especially if there's a fun event hosted at ROW that weekend!

Today was my first time here so I didn't know what to expect. I know creators who come here to take pictures of themselves or products so I wanted to check it out. I was here actually for an event today, but was early so decided to explore. Ended up at a coffee shop and browsed at different shops. There's a huge selection of small shops. Places to sit and eat outside or drink a coffee and chat. It was very peaceful. DTLA does get a bad wrap, but this location is honestly so beautiful and peaceful. I definitely recommend. Security staff was very sweet and I loved the coffee shop I went to!

The row is a great place to visit in downtown LA if you know that there's an event that's happening with its borders. There are always things that are happening here - I've seen sample sales and promotional events for certain brands here. My primary reason for coming here are the amazing food options here. There is some restaurants here with serious rep including Kato (1 michelin star), Hayato (2 michelin star), Pizzeria Bianco (featured on Netflix' Chef Table: Pizza). Note: don't try to go to those places without a reservation. You could get decent coffee at Go Get Em Tiger, they have a nice craft liquor store here, and I also feel that the restaurant Pikunico is a hidden gem - their Japanese fried chicken sandwiches are amazing! On Sundays from 10-4, you can find Smorgasburg LA, which is a great daytime food market. The Sunday food market here often has specific themes and you should check online to see what's going on. I don't come here on random days - it's always for some specific purpose; however, it's a fun place to go, parking is covered for 2 hours on the weekend, and there are some places here that are really worth visiting.

    Pam Y.

We spent a chill afternoon here... shopped at Hightide (fun knick-knacks/clothing items from Japan), ate at Pikunico (Japanese fried chicken joint), hubby got chai and we window-shopped and enjoyed the sun & breeze... plenty of places to sit & relax :). 2hrs free parking also. def recommend for a laid-back hang w friends or your partner :)

Never been here before but I was going to a Chainfest Food Festival event and it was perfect space for it. It was outdoors. The only bad thing was the parking. It was a little crazy getting in the structure and very tight space as you go up and it winds up too so my friend has a stickshift Jeep and it was a bit scary since it was back-to-back cars. But i'm just glad it was covered parking since it was so hot that day. I know they're having a christmas market there so I definitely want to try that out.

There was Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Jim Carrey even stayed hours after he needed to until he had spoken, taken pictures, and signed books for every single person who had waited in line for him. However, after the COVID pandemic they've noticeably stopped coming. Still, The Grove is a nice place to visit because it is so polished and touristy. There's the dancing fountain, free trolley, movie theater, shops and restaurants. Meanwhile, The Farmers Market is right next door, so you can easily walk there as well. It's a good place to kill time. Some stores are a bit on the pricey side, though. The trolley is a bit silly since the ride is so short. It takes longer to wait for the trolley than to just walk from one end of the mall to the other. It is a free novelty, though, so if you have nothing better to do, might as well. Recently, there was a parade and festival at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) and I noticed several other people like me walking from there to The Grove since it's only around a 20 minute walk up Fairfax Ave. I think people decided to walk since parking at LACMA is $23 no matter what and we didn't want to pay it again. Parking at The Grove isn't cheap either, but it's easy and convenient since it's a huge multi-story parking garage with digital numbers that tell you how many spots are available on each level. My go to restroom is at the top level of Barnes & Noble, but there's also one at Farmers Market. The views of The Grove from the upper levels of Barnes & Noble are nice. There's also an onsite cafe on that level. Meanwhile, this Barnes & Noble is apparently one of the biggest in the US. Around the holidays, they put up one of the tallest Christmas trees in the US. They hang flying reindeer and a sleigh above the dancing fountain. They also put up a Santa house in the middle of the street where you can take pictures with Santa for a fee. One of the changes I didn't like around the dancing fountain, which is one of the few spots with trees and shade, is that they roped it off so that it became outdoor seating for the restaurants whereas before it was open to anyone. Even though I don't live near here anymore, I still end up visiting every now and then because of nearby festivals. At this point it's so familiar to me that as another reviewer had said "It's an LA staple."

Of course the main focal point, the water fountain and little park. There's plenty of parking in the massive covered parking structure. There's also valet at the lower level which is easier in my opinion. You can also park where the farmers market is but they have their own validation system. It's a pretty decent size shopping area which is all outdoor. The main department store which is Nordstrom and then you'll have all the other smaller chains stores. Plenty of dining options, more on the dine in style. If you're looking for something quick and easy, there's the farmers market a couple minutes walk. Of course there's the movie theatre which is great. The whole grove concept is similar to the Americana which is larger. Dining options, shops and of course the fountain. It's a staple in LA that's worth checking out.

This area was nice with the high rise century city backdrop. Although it was more crowded than I expected, meeting friends for lunch was great. The restaurant choices are wonderful. We planned to eat at one spot, but due to the wait we changed it up and it was a total hit. Parking was crazy! Lines to go up and down, it took forever to pull in a spot. Shortly upon arrival, we figured out it's an outdoor shopping mall with an upscale mix of name brand stores, boutique shops, elevated restaurants, food court with quick bites/snack/drink vendors, and fun entertainment. Overall exterior was well cared for in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. It wasn't super busy nor crowded which is great sometimes because congestion of people traffic may make our dining and shopping experience a bit hard to handle. We got to see the Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Mini Mall Pop Up showcased in the huge courtyard. It brought back some nostalgia. Neat retro activity! We hit the food court first since we were starving. We grabbed a little something from Tosai Sushi, Poukei, AC Barbeque, Fuwa Teriyaki Grill, O'Gusto, and Massis Kabob. A few were good, but not all. Check out my reviews for each one. Thanks! After our lunch, we walked around to look for drinks and desserts. We indulged in a little something from Chamberlian Coffee, Chagee Modern Tea House, Cafe Knotted, Oakberry Acai, Wushiland Boba, K. Minamoto, and Bacio di Latte. Yes, we hit most of the good sweet spots. Yum! We weren't here to shop so didn't go into any clothing stores or boutique shops. Although, we did walk into a Pop Mart to satisfy my curiosity. Colorful store with interesting dolls. Didn't buy anything though. We barely scratched the surface at this mall. We hope to come back as a returning customer to some of the biz supported and be a new customer to other businesses that we haven't explored as of yet. See you here!

It's actually interesting to see a diverse crowd hang out here compared to back then when it was nothing but Korean people. The first floor retains most of the stores that existed back then too; Music Plaza which always had an insane selection of Korean music, the quaint coffee shop near the food court, the stationary store and bookstore near the elevator and of course the Food Court itself. Has the best prices of all sorts of Korean cuisine out there; I always gravitate towards the Dddukgook (Rice Cake Soup). The H-Mart used to be the mall's own market (called Plaza Market). I was a small kid back then, but it's quite congested as a grown adult over 6 foot tall. The layout is exactly the same from back then and I love it. There used to be a very tiny bakery next to the H-Mart on the left, but they have a much larger bakery on the right. The decor is still that same 80s-esque pink and teal tile, which I hope they never change. The second floor used to have this toy store that used to sell all sorts of Power Rangers and Pokemon toys. I miss it dearly, albeit I believe it was very overpriced back then lol. I believe it's the mail store now. The third floor used to have this appliance/electronics store called "ABC Plaza". It had literally everything from USA albums, Korean appliances, and a whole section for Japanese import games. As a kid it felt like paradise. I believe it's now turning into a gym, which is cool in itself. My wife bought me some Pokemon cards from that toy store near the food court, and it reactivated all my memories. After that, we all had dinner together at Kura Sushi. After dinner at Kura Sushi, I decided to pick up another kabob to go for my other brother at home. As I was walking back to Kura Sushi with the food, I passed by the restroom area near the food court and a kiosk that appeared to offer eyebrow tattooing services. A Hispanic female janitor was cleaning the area. My mom had called me and was asking me to come back quickly, so I was walking at a very fast pace with the takeout order in my hand. Suddenly, the female janitor jabbed me in the arm and started speaking angrily in Spanish. I couldn't understand a single word she was saying, and I was completely shocked by her behavior. I assume that because I was walking quickly to get back to my mom, I may not have noticed that she had placed a caution sign and was cleaning that section of the floor. Perhaps I accidentally walked through the area she was working on. Even so, I found it completely unacceptable for someone to jab me in the arm like that. To make matters worse, she kept speaking to me in Spanish, which I could not understand. I honestly thought her behavior was very inappropriate. I simply responded, "Please speak English and do not touch me, OK?" My mom was waiting for me and wanted to leave right away, so I didn't have time to continue the conversation and just walked away. However, the more I think about what happened that day, the more upset it makes me. I sincerely hope I never experience something this unpleasant again. Glendale Galleria should do a better job of training its employees on how to interact respectfully with customers.
