Walked in to soggy cardboard coating the floor that I nearly tripped over. Walked back to the deli…read morewaited five minutes only for some crusty, gray-haired, grumpy deli employee to stroll over to the counter. Asked for a lunch sandwich at 9am and he started shaking his head. I told him never mind, and he called me a f****** idiot while I was walking out. Probably for the best- deli case was dirty and sandwich guy was very confused as to why a customer wouldn't choose to purchase their food food after he showed anger/disapproval while taking my order. If this guy can't understand his own social cues I have a hard time believing he's able to remember to wash his hands. Hope you guys can figure this out how to make the angry Q-Tip come to terms with the fact that working at a deli means making food when a customer asks them to.
