Lastly, never had any reactions from Hrabak's immunotherapy which now makes me see that I wasn't ever getting the proper dosage. Never had any improvement after two years of diligent attendance. I would have completed them on the same day, but my insurance only covers tests on separate days. In between visits, I had to stay off antihistamines in order to do the allergy tests. The doctor gave me a free water and small dose of medication right there at the clinic to relieve the itchy rash on my eyelids. I was really impressed with the level of care. The only downside of the testing is that the environmental and food tests only test for allergic reactions not food sensitivity. Nonetheless, I would recommend this allergist!

The office requires payment upfront before insurance has fully processed the claim. I understand this is likely due to delays between insurance and the billing department, but it can be frustrating as a patient who consistently pays medical bills on time. For example, I'm still waiting for credits to be applied to my account while continuing to receive bills for serum charges. I would much prefer the option to keep a card on file and have charges processed after insurance has been billed and the patient responsibility is finalized. It's much easier to pay a balance owed than to wait for credits or refunds to be applied. Despite this concern, the quality of care from Dr. Ching and the clinical staff keeps me coming back.

However, a couple months later, I received another bill for almost $300 and have been receiving monthly statements for this "balance." I will never visit this office again. They clearly do not have their act together and the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Now I have to take time out of the things I have going on to call and deal with something that is due to their incompetence, not mine. Insanely frustrating.
