I tried to drop off a sample to be tested at 1:45 on May 1,2023 at the Rocky Point location. All the paperwork was done. A male technician stopped me at the door and refused to take the sample. He said they were going to lunch even though it was posted that lunch was between 12 and 1:00PM. He told me to come back later or the next day. I told him I couldn't because I had to go to work and the sample needed to be refrigerated right away. I asked him if he could just take it and he refused. There was a person in the waiting room who heard everything and this was very embarrassing. This man was rude and completely out of line. I had to get another prescription from my doctor and a referral to another lab. I will never go back there again even though I have gone there for years. Lisa has been very kind and caring. Throughout my health event, she has been one of the few who was able to extract blood from me during my weakened condition. Whenever my doctors call for blood tests I will always go to her. read more

I come to this location Every 3 months for testing. I have never had a bad experience. Typically I only come here on a Saturday so I can't speak on the weekday crew. Weekend staff is very professional I highly recommend this lab. read more

Horrible! They treat you like crap. The workers are rude. I understand your office is busy and maybe you are understaffed and overworked but no reason to take it out on patients. All they do is sit there and gossip or huff and puff about there jobs. Ugh read more

Had to walk out sobbing and let my husband bring our 3 week old infant in to deal with the less-than welcoming attitudes that work here. If you're hormonal, recently gave birth and your child needs blood work, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you're easily triggered at the moment. One star for considering shes an infant and letting her come in before ONE other person after waiting an hour in the hallway already. The blonde woman at the front desk is horrid. Made the whole experience awful, even though the unprofessional way the place is run could've done that for itself. If you're so miserable don't work in healthcare. Waited 2 hours. And got snapped at when asked for an estimated time frame. read more

I see some bad ratings, however, I wouldn't give credence to any of them. The staff there were professional and nice. The wait was a little long, but there were also a lot of people waiting to get in as this location is one of the few places open on the weekend on the North Shore in Suffolk. Once inside, the staff quickly drew blood and I felt no pain which is good for people a bit squeamish about this sort of thing. read more

Waited 45 minutes while two technicians slowly and rudely took their time not even acknowledging people as they walked in . I was passed up for signing into the wrong sign in sheet and they did not care one bit . Unprofessional operation going on here . If they are not happy with their job find a new one . Do not reccomend this lab !! read more

I had a horrible experience with the male phlebotomist. Didn't catch his name but was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not to mention he couldn't get my blood. Some people really need to learn how to interact with people.Claire was EXCELLENT COMPASSIONATE AND FRIENDLY. 5 stars are strictly for her. read more

Always gone to sunrise labs for blood tests but didn't know until recently that this location was here since there is no signage outside. Been coming for all my prenatal testing and every staff member I have met has been fantastic! read more

Normally I have a fairly good experience with Sunrise Medical Lab. I'm there every six months and sometimes more frequently. I don't know if the women was over whelmed with training some new employee or what but she didn't have it together at all. I had checked in with my daughter a little after 9:15 on Friday. We sat for awhile for the lack of crowd but hey I understand she was training someone. Finally when I had been called up and handed in my scripts and my daughters I had asked if I could just do my normal blood work and was quickly and firmed told no their is no such thing as normal blood work. I had simply just wanted to know if I could do my routine blood work and not all the other scripts and blood work added on. I just wanted to do two out of the eight tests. Then I had mentioned while standing there when asked for photo ID I don't have my new one yet just my old license as photo ID I had just paid for a new one online. Wasn't even aware I needed my ID at all. She scanned it and went about what she was doing. Then we got called in. The new women had started drawing my blood first after trying to figure out what to do first. Sadly I don't know why but it seemed like she was completely new and couldn't find my veins even though the one lady at the desk always finds it immediately In the same location each time she does do it. And she didn't even try and just decided to do it in my hand which im not really okay wit since it hurts a whole lot more. After getting to the last vial of blood the lady who took my license comes in and says she cant do the blood work that my license isn't acceptable. Like why couldn't you say before had and sent my husband home to go print a temp. one out for them. and told me shed do my daughter. So I waited in the room and got told by the new lady she cant do it to go to the waiting room. Now its 11:30 and the my daughters having a tantrum in the waiting area. I walked the hall way with her to keep her quiet. upon coming back in with my husband I was told that I had to wait because I had left when she said she was going to do the blood work. I didn't want to create a scene and didn't want my husband getting hot headed so bite my tongue. But this experience was bad in so many ways. Not to mention how they handled my daughter while doing her bloodwork. I'm not even sure I will be returning to this lab. read more
