i went here to get my acrylics removed. I went in expecting that they would soak them off, but no! First they filed them down, clipped them, and then used an unused nail to wedge it between my natural nail and the fake one?! It hurt and they left my natural nails damaged. I'm very disappointed, will not be coming back. read more

I don't see how anyone could give this facility a low rating. The facility is owned and run by a woman for 30 years. She answers the phone in person and schedule efficiently. Her gel manicures/dip gel manicures cannot be beat. The pedicures are also well done and they have a nice selection and quality of colors. I just love this place! If there was a criticism, I would wish be closed on Tuesdays. read more

I used to live in the area and be a frequent customer. A few months ago, I received a gift card to the salon from a friend and thought I would go back and use them since I was in the area. When I walked in the nail technician that I always went to for many years pretended not to know me and refused to, even allow me to make an appointment for the day. Disappointing experience. My daughter & I got our nails done yesterday. I got a gel mani ($35) and my daughter got a full set (acrylic) and was charged $70. Her nails were bare when we arrived, nothing to remove and we were charged $70. Absolutely crazy. And that did not include the $5 for the almond shape - which is ridiculous -- but didn't charge us for that b/c we paid cash. But it would have been $75. One of her nails is super lopsided and the tech cut two of her fingers along the cuticles pretty bad, she left bleeding. I was shocked and wish I went back in to get my money back. I've never seen anything like it. And we paid $70 + tip for her nails. Absolutely terrible. How could you let a customer leave bleeding? Bad business and very unhygienic. I wish there was a way to give zero stars!!!! Talk about a total dump. The staff is so unbelievably rude, rough on your hands, and extremely lazy- they will rush the whole time and then try to charge you way more. The entire salon is dirty- I witnessed them share tools without sanitizing in between. I'm not sure how this place is even still in business but they are so far from a "day spa". Not only that, but your manicure will turn out clumpy. They do what they want and don't listen to your request. This place is a nightmare. Sunrise Nails is by no means in any way, shape or form, a 'spa.' It's a DUMP. I waited for an hour and fifteen minutes to get a gel manicure, and the tech attempted to file my cuticles with a machine of some sort instead of soaking my hands and using a clipper - it was Sunday, and she was clearly rushing and wanted to go home since they were closing soon. Why take me to begin with if there is not enough time? Even worse, I found nail clippings and file dust left on the work area from the person who sat there before me. Are you f-----g kidding me. Only go to Sunrise Nails if you want to be treated rudely, or have nothing better to do but wait around and then - when it's finally your turn - sit at a dirty nail station with an unfriendly tech for a real 'SPA' experience! read more

Having just moved from NYC (where there are a ton of affordable but nice salons), I was worried about what I'd find in the suburbs, where there are so fewer options. The salon is clean, the staff friendly and the end result very nice. The only negative to note is that their selection of nude/light pink colors is very small (they have a ton of bright colors). once there I was kept waiting for a very long time. When I finally did get a seat the person doing my nails rushed through the manicure. My gel manicure ended up being really sloppy. Polish was left all over my fingers and the color was painted unevenly. It also ended up chipping not even an hour after I left salon. However my pedicure did turn out nice. read more

I came here yesterday for the first time and I loved it!! I got a pedicure and they went beyond and didn't rush they wrapped heated towels on my feet a legs and so much more!! & while my toes were drying they gave me a massage it was awesome!!! Recently, when I brought a friend with me, her first visit, I realized that part of the experience that I really appreciate is that the salon is clean, quiet, and relaxing. Services are provided with much care and gentleness. Each technician is knowledgeable and thorough. Measures to provide protection among clients and technicians with regard to hygiene are ample and reliable. Prices are competitive and better in most cases. They rushed through my nails , and didn't put the acrylic tip on the correct way .. my nails were supposed to be a reasonable size cut into squares . She made them very short and circle plus their big and bulky . I wouldn't recommend going there they don't listen or take their time. I paid way to much it wasn't worth it at all . read more

We have gone to Sunrise Nails 3 or 4 times prior and always had good experiences. Not great, but they did the job. Today, I called and made an appointment for a group for 5 pedi's, 2 mani's and 2 paraffin foot wax treatment. We showed up for our appointment and they only had one person available for the 5 of us. One person sat in the foot chair, with their feet soaking, for 30 minutes. When we began asking about our other services, they told us that they had taken walk-ins because we didn't book additional services (which I did!!!) and that we'd have to wait until the walk-ins were taken care of. Only one person in the group got their additional services. The pedi's were not very good tonight either. One person had to trim their nails after they got home because of the jagged, sharp points that were left, and another person never got their feet scrubbed or filed. Very disappointed in the service and the rudeness of the ladies tonight. We will not be back. read more

Do not recommend this nail salon. Had horribly applied tips and dip done and my nails fell off within 10 days. When I went back and complained, they charged me for removal. Not only was I charged $10, but they would not use my card because it was a $12 minimum. I said I was not paying because the service prior to getting them removed was terrible. Hmmm. Don't know what was going on when the previous reviews were written because a friend and I have gone there a couple of times and have had great experiences. First of all the place is clean. The staff didn't screech at you the minute the door closed to PICK A COLOR! (C'mon ladies .. you know what I'm talking about). On our first visit we kept adding services as we went along and never felt rushed or unhappy with the results. In the end, it's just a nail salon/mini-spa in a strip of stores but it's not a horror show and that counts a lot. Personally, I wish the staff would try smiling more! So fa, so good. This place has the best pedicures anywhere. They pay attention and give you a hot stone rub on your feet and legs and the price can't be beat. I've always been greeted nicely and taken right away. They are conscious about your time and 2 people often work on you if you are also getting a manicure/gel change during your pedicure. I would suggest they rearrange the seating so you don't face the wall and they could put in a TV, but for the price, they have my repeat business. read more

For a general mani/pedi you can't beat this place! During the pedicure they massage each foot/leg thoroughly then do hot stones then hot towels! It's amazing. While you're drying they heat up a beaded bag and massage your neck and back. I just did a pedicure today and all of that for just $25. I think the combo is $35. Called the other day to see if they had time to do an acrylic fill. Spoke with Tammy, she was nice over the phone and said she could take me in 10 minutes which is what I asked. First time there and was overall very happy. She fixed a nail that had broken off completely and was quick and efficient with her work. I am a little picky with the shape, one was a little odd shaped and one was longer than the other matching finger and she worked with me to get things right. They don't do hand massages here, but as I was sitting and getting me nails dried she came over and rubbed my neck and upper back! That felt really nice :) Everyone else seemed really nice and friendly in the salon, I watched as each and every guest entered they were greeted and assisted. (I was sitting right by the door!) My only complaint was when she filed my nails on the sides it cut the skin in some area and still hurts. That won't stop me from going back to see her though! I will just be sure to make her aware of it so she can be a little more gentle. I will be adding a picture of my nails! Their a pretty dusty rose pink :-) read more

This is a bright and clean salon. My pedicure was top notch. However I went in for a full set of acrylics as well and I'm sitting at home with my drill file fixing the edges. I will be finding another salon for my fills. The young lady doing my nails hurt me a couple times. I said "ow" to which she didn't respond. While my nails were drying she came up behind me and started massaging my shoulders for maybe a minute. She didn't say she was going to do anything ..just started squeezing. She scared me and hurt me. Really awkward experience over all. The pricing was very reasonable but I'd be willing to pay more for a better over all experience. Thank you read more

This place is actually the only nail salon I go to anymore. The manicure stayed for over a week (big deal for my nails) and we here now instead of Annie's West Chester after they dropped a bottle of nail polish on my sister's skirt and refused to do anything about it. After we decided not to go back to Annie's, we've been trying to find a replacement and this is the only place that has been wonderful! They have reasonable prices, and they give a nice little back rub when doing your manicure too. read more
