Hi there! So here's what to look forward to... I went in to get a full set last week. From the time I could not pick a color within the five minutes I was there, my nail tech immediately started talking to the other techs about me. The reason why I know this for a fact is because I can understand the language. A bit broken, but enough to know what they were saying, I got up and walked to the front to pay for what had been done to that point. I told the owner what it happened and she was apologetic at the least. If this is the way, they are going to treat their customers that work hard for their money, then they deserve an honest review. I've been here a few times, today was definitely my last. The appointment was going ok until the guy drug the Dremel across my finger cutting it open and I started bleeding! Then when he was filing my nails it was uneven and when I called it to his attention he got made and had someone else finish my nails. Nina did me dirty, my nails look like crap. Got a full set of acrylics, short coffin, regular polish with matte topcoat ($2 extra fyi). The nails on my left hand are all crooked and my thumb nails are different lengths. Yes I asked her to fix it a couple times. No base coat so my crooked acrylics are also stained. I paid $47 ($37 for the set, $10 tip) The salon is nice. I'll try a different tech or a different salon, and hopefully they can fix it. I wish she had just said she was too busy and I could've seen another tech. Save yourself the sore hands and wasted money, don't get your nails done by her. read more

The nails turned out pretty good, the sparkle isn't as white as I'd like it but she asked and I said it was alright so that's my fault. My ring finger nail on my left hand is pretty crooked though. I'm torn, as I have been in this salon a handful of times and had a good experience, but my last three visits I have had extremely rude nail technicians. So much so that it made the whole experience really uncomfortable. I think I will simply chose another spot where the time spent, and the experience stays positive; it's hard enough to find time to do this kind of thing! read more

Favorite nail spot in town. They have the best pedicures. My favorite is the deluxe pedicure. Staff is always so friendly.

First impressions make a difference. Immediately on the phone they were rude and irritated that I even called to begin with all because they were busy. I get busy at work too but it's also part of most jobs to have customer service and answer the phones respectfully no matter how busy. Then before I could even ask for another day to see if they had availability, she hung up on me. I have gone to sunrise for years and they are usually friendly, I will give them that. Over the past 4 months every time I have got my nails done (shellac manicure) I have had to go back to get it fixed because of chipping within the first few days. One of the employees told me that they changed their product and I will tell you, it is awful. I will no longer be referring any one here unless they have the time to go back two days later for the same thing. I am very disappointed. The pedicure was not too bad and the lady was nice but it was not relaxing at all because they had the tv on and all the workers kept talking across the salon to each other. I came in with an old dip set, coffin shaped and wanted to change the color and shape to almond. The guy was very professional and gladly accommodated. He made sure I was happy and that the dip powder wasn't too thick or chunky before he moved on. I'm very happy with my nails. They have a wide selection of colors in dip powder and I absolutely love mine-I've been looking for a color like this everywhere! all the workers were very friendly and making conversation with them was enjoyable. I came here for a gel manicure. I was super happy during and immediately after but the gel didn't last a week before chipping and peeling off. I've gotten gel done dozens of times and it always lasts me around 3-4 weeks. I'm not sure if it's the application or the brand of gel but this was pitiful on how it lasted. I came in for a gel polish change because my last mani had all peeled off, the lady (3 chairs from front I believe) literally globbed on the polish, it's bubbled up on a few nails and on my cuticles. Also, it states on the menu a gel polish change is 18.00, they charged me 20 which I didn't notice the price till after I left, not worth going back for 2.00 but still bad business, for those 2 reasons I will not be going back. This was a very horrible experience I set a appointment for 1:30 didn't get help till 2:15 very rough with your hands. They put nail polish on my skin picked the wrong color and the nail polish was very goopy and thick on my hand glitter is horrible not even the one I picked I'm surprised they haven't ran out of business they have only done my nails good twice and that's because I was generous. But I kept giving them chances and this pulled the trigger. If you want your nails to look horrible go here this is not ok and should be stopped. read more

This was my second visit at Sunrise - my first was a pedicure for my daughter and I and an acrylic full set. This time I did their Jelly Deluxe pedicure and a shellac manicure, and spent almost 2.5 hours in the salon. I'm not sure if the technician was new to nails or maybe the salon, but she was painstakingly slow. The attention to detail when it came to the leg massage was great, but she painted my toes the wrong color - I didn't ask her to correct it, because I didn't want to sit there for another 30 minutes before we got started on my manicure. My manicure was okay, but not worth the $30 - she did 5 layers of the shellac polish, and tried to do a 6th before I asked her not to. My polish came out lumpy and uneven, and there's leftover polish on my skin. Cuticle oil and hand massage are not included, which was disappointed. My cuticles are a mess and she didn't seem to care. I didn't notice any individual taking ownership or demonstrating leadership, so I'm not even sure who I would have brought my concerns to. None of the technicians seemed rude or mean, which was a bonus. Overall an okay salon, a less than great experience, probably will go elsewhere going forward. read more

This nail salon is the best place in this part of town!!! I have lived in this area 25 years and have tried quite a few. Friendly and very clean. For pedicures, they open a new pack of tools each time, and have liners in the spa tubs. They do a REALLY great job on nails and toes! Highly recommend!!! read more

I finally found a good place to do my shellac nails. The lady who I got was very meticulous from start to finish. She didn't push extra stuff on me, she quietly talked about me and every one else getting their nails done in her native tongue which was fine by me because that meant she wasn't trying to make small talk with me in her broken English. I came here with my sister, who lives in the area and really liked it when it was Bella Nails. She was not aware the salon had changed ownership. We arrived for our 9:00 a.m. appointments, and there were only two ladies working. They were already three deep in walk-ins and they seemed completely frazzled. The women were not welcoming or friendly. My sister's technician actually stepped away mid-pedicure to take a call on her cell phone. The pedicures were awful! The woman nipped me when she started working on my cuticles, so I asked her to stop. She didn't take kindly to that, and proceeded to rush through the rest of the service.
