I have a toddler that's been attending Sunrise for about four months now. Some backstory- I'm a first time mom, have separation anxiety and my toddler can take quite a while to open up. Let me tell you I have never been more impressed with the staff here. First, the care providers are very friendly and quick to get to know my toddler. The instant she walks through the door, they offer her favorite toy. She was apprehensive at first, but after a couple of weeks, my toddler barely says goodbye to me! She's so ridiculously excited to play with her teachers and friends, all my anxiety is gone. When I expressed to the staff my family's tight budget, the front staff were quick to help me apply for a scholarship too. We've recently moved quite a drive away but I still take my toddler to this location because the staff is professional, friendly and supportive. The atmosphere is colorful and inspiring- a lot of daycares I've toured are quite dull. I can confidently say I put all my trust in this facility and would only leave unless I ABSOLUTELY had to (ie, moved even further away). read more

The school director and teachers here are awesome! I thought my 2-year old "baby" would hate going because he is a total mama's boy, but he loves going to Sunrise. And in two weeks, he was potty-trained! My older 4-year old had a harder time adjusting, but I can tell how much his vocabulary and speech has improved in the 6 weeks he has been attending Sunrise. The facility is clean and I love receiving the daily report cards from each child telling me how long they napped and whether they ate all of their lunch. I also love their 2-week a year vacation policy. The other preschool I had them at required payment of at least 1/2 of the tuition if you went on a weeks vacation and I was NOT a fan of that policy. We scoured the area for preschools and visited at least 6 other facilities before we decided to enroll our boys here, and we are thrilled with Sunrise Preschools! read more

This school is awesome! The front desk staff, Michelle and Nikki, are always welcoming and responsive to my family's needs. The teachers in the infant room (Amanda and Alyssa) are very friendly, supportive, and easy to communicate with when we need to monitor my child's food, health, and overall well being. My daughter loves to come here and is always welcomed by friendly teachers. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great, safe, friendly, and trustworthy childcare. read more

I have been taking my fiancé's daughter here for a year now and not only does her daughter love it here , when I dropped her off Michelle and Nikki are always so friendly and intuitive to the needs of the parents and the children. My daughter goes when she goes and visits her father. Every time I call to check up on her I would talk to the director Michele Manney. She is very rude to me never lets me talk she needs to have more customer service experience she isn't helpful at all. If this is how she treats all parents this way she shouldn't work in this industry. Now every once in a while I will talk to Nikki Rooke the assistant director she is much more helpful will let you talk and will listen to you I would rather talk to her. If I could I would take her out of this place I don't recommend this place to any other parents. read more

Love the staff. We have two kids and they love the activities offered in the class rooms. We have used another preschool in the past with OK staff. We found a great place and nice teachers. My Kids couldn't be in a better place. It's nice to have a friendly greeting in the morning when you walk in the door. read more

There's not many people I would trust with my children and I do not say that lightly. The way Michelle runs her center makes you feel like you're leaving your children with close relatives, that will never do any harm to your children but only nurture them. The staff is that for all children with all types of personalities and from what I've experienced over the last year and Its genuine and the staff is passionate about your children development. This place rocks!! No bones about it!! All 4 of my children have gone to this preschool. We have two older children that were at the original location on Cholla and when we decided to have more children (like two weren't enough right?) Sunrise was our first stop. When we entered the building, familiiar faces were there to greet us. Michelle, who is the facility manager, not only remembered us but our children as well. She took the time and went completely out of her way to get us going and settled in. It was an awesome experience! My daughter has been going here for about 8 months,she's 2 and she loves it. Never cries or complains about going so I figure she must be having fun . The staff is always really nice and very good at communicating with the parents. I also like how secure and safe it is, how everyone has their own code to get in the door and not just anyone can be walking in and they remember everyone on a name basis basically instantly it's actually quite impressive. ..it's also always clean and organized as well.overall it's a good place and my daughter is happy here, learns a lot and I feel perfectly happy and comfortable with her being here during the week and the negative reviews I've read are things like a child getting sick here, which can and will happen at every daycare/school or ANYWHERE really, and some people won't be happy anywhere it seems. read more

I am so grateful to have found this school for my granddaughter. The entire staff are an amazing group of people. The teachers are patient,professional and truly care about the little ones they watch over. We have been with the school for over a year now and have no complaints. We recently moved here from Michigan. Yet another change for my 4 year old. We visited a few schools in the area, and when we got to Sunrise, his eyes lit up! The staff is so kind and teach about making better choices. They always acknowledge him when he enters and leaves the building. It makes him feel important! As a mom who had to go from working 3 days a week to working 5 days a week, it made the transition so much easier, just knowing he was happy. My child only went here a few weeks and that was about enough for us. Something about this location seemed...off. The director was very hard to read. My child never really seemed that happy here, and neither did any of the other kids. For starters, they're way understaffed. Every time I was there there was one teacher for every 10+ kids. I'd see teachers laying on the ground, not even paying close enough attention to what the kids were doing, half-heartedly telling them to not do this or that as she lay on the ground like a lazy slug. I'd see kids crying at the door and no one was doing anything to comfort them. I wanted to rescue all of them. I saw an infant on her back, crying and it took someone a few minutes to go tend to her. I was also never able to get on to the portal to see updates and pictures of my child because I was never emailed the link. My kid caught pinkeye here and no one even noticed or thought to call me about it. We won't be back. read more

Went for a tour of the facility, which is very nice, however, the director and assistance director were cold, uninterested and not very helpful. These are not the qualities that you want to be greeted with on your first interaction with the management team. I received my tour from the assistant director, she was abrupt, rushed through the tour, and didn't allow time for me to ask questions. The director was there and was standing right in front of me and did not say two words to me even after being introduced to me. The teachers seemed unhappy. I had high hopes for this place, however, I don't want to place my child in a facility where the management team is so cold and uninterested in potential customers, it makes me wonder what kind of example they are setting towards the staff and how the staff is treating the children. This is only my experience with this location, sadly I wont be sending my child there, I really wanted to like this place! read more

My husband and I toured this center for our two girls, we walked in and both directors were extremely rude and non-welcoming. Both seemed busy, and uninterested to help us. Eventually we were offered to tour, but that was a long wait as they were both on phones. We walked past a few rooms, and it looked as if the teachers had no idea what they were doing. Toys and food scattered the floors and children were jumping off shelves as teachers kept their back turned. My two daughters are three and four and I have never seen any classrooms more deranged and disgusting then those. Not to mention, you could smell and see the wrapped toilet paper covering the bathroom floors. I do not recommend this place, as no children should be put in that kind of environment. read more

I can't tell u how much my granddaughter misses going back to Sunrise again. Unfortunately she's starting Kinder now but Sunrise was the best place I could have taken her. You won't be disappointed. read more

I do not understand how a preschool could not know how to take care of a 4 year old. They cannot handle if a child yells, cries. What kind of education do these instructors have. I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their child and wants what is best for them. Very disappointed for the cost they should have more professional caregivers. Wish I could get my money back since paid for something I most definitely did not receive. Terrible please consider a place that will care and love your child. read more
