Busy Bees has been the place that watched my kid for 5 years. Each teacher that I have communicated with has been nothing but pleasant and respectful. Anytime I voiced a concern or needed something the staff has always been supportive. Recently they were starting to do more family oriented activities which I love; Easter egg hunt, movie nights, summer water days. Love that the school offers full time or part time (min of 3 days). My son has been going to this place for almost a year. We love that he is happy when he is there, the staff is attentive toward him and many know him by name (even if they aren't his teacher). He gets a healthy hot lunch and two snacks a day. He's very picky so they make sure to give him more of what he will eat instead of making him eat what he won't eat. He does try new foods there sometimes though. We love that outside companies come in and teach classes like gymnastics and jiu jitsu. We appreciate the curriculum. Our son came home one day and counted to 30! Now he's counting to 50 (he's only 3). The pricing is good. It's drop in (which is great). Anytime our son has become sick while at school, we've been called and the staff member was always very caring. They always alert us if there is a bump or a bruise too. If I could give them zero stars I would. When I went to tour, the lady that gave me the tour was wonderful, so I decided to sign up based on what I saw & how I felt when we toured. My daughter went six total days and I pulled her out. She cried every day that I brought her AND she was crying when I picked her up. I thought, at first, okay she's just adjusting, but after six days I knew something wasn't right. My daughter is only year old, so it's not like she can tell me what's wrong. Here we are ALMOST three weeks later since I pulled her and they have the nerve to pull $222 out of my account and tell me my previously payment bounced. I can guarantee that NOOOOOO it didn't. Long story short, I was waiting for a refund for my enrollment fee since my daughter only went for 6 total days & I paid a $100 enrollment fee. There was nothing I signed showing that fee was non refundable (I went back and forth with Amber, the director a few times before I called the corporate office). Debra, at corporate (after 2 emails and 3 phone calls) gets back to me and states that the fee doesn't say non-refundable, so she was supposed to put a check in the mail on 2/4. So, back to the beginning! I emailed the Debra again 2/10 at the corporate office and asked her the timeframe for when the check would be in the mail and she came back and told me that my last payment to Valley Child Care bounced, which is 100% not the case because I double checked with my bank before I called Valley Child Care and they confirmed both of my payments to them for the six total days that my daughter went were pulled from them successfully without being bounced. If you want your child to cry and not feel comfortable at this location and then have money taken out of your account (WITHOUT authorization) weeks after you pull your child then this location for you, but if not steer far, far away!!!!!! This situation could've been 100% prevented, but their lack of communication is what caused this. read more

I'm SO disappointed and angry. My daughter is nearly 6 and needed a place to go over the summer. This place seemed to have good reviews so I called them to get more information. I was pleasantly surprised at the daily rates and how knowledgeable and friendly the woman on the phone sounded. It seemed like a great place. I called in the morning to ask if they provide lunch or if I should pack her one. They said they provide it so I didn't pack one for her. I dropped her off at 6:45 am and picked her up at 6pm. When I picked her up she was starving. We got home and she told me that she only ate Oreos all day and that she got punched in the stomach and hit in the lip! There was no incident report and no mention of it by the staff when I picked her up. Sometimes things go unseen, and in those cases I suppose it's expected to learn of it later on, but my daughter specifically told me they acknowledged it and said something to the boy. Oh but it gets better... My daughter had an accident in her pants. She has not had an accident in I can't tell you how long! She said there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and she didn't feel comfortable. I asked her if she said anything to the teacher and she said she didn't tell anyone and they didn't know she had an accident. But how could you not know? There was a huge wet mark on her bottom and I could smell it! In addition, there was no learning curriculum. She said she played all day long and had story time. No ABC's and no math. Words aren't enough to explain how saddened and angry I am that she had such a rough day. She will NOT be coming back! read more

I brought my son here for a few months last year over the summer. What I liked about it: 1) The prices are affordable. You pay at the end of the week, so you only pay for the time you used. 2) They let me supply lunch for my son. He is VERY picky and will go hungry before he eats anything he doesn't like. What my son liked about it: 1) They are fun and very interactive. There were days he didn't want to leave. 2) The outdoor area was a blast for him. Plus, it wasn't too big of an area and it was well kept (that's what I liked). Overall, it was the best day care I've used. His teacher wasn't very informative. She never filled me in on how his day was which I didn't really like, but my son loved her so that meant something. And the rooms are cleaned and sanitized. I love that. I've checked out some pretty stinky day cares lol. I just had my second child, so I'm going in to check out their infant program. I decided to write a review because I saw some pretty poor ones and I thought they deserved a better overall rating. read more

My 2 year old daughter was going there for a very short time. She always cried when we drove up to the daycare and didn't want to get out of the car. The staff was nice, but they were always cleaning the facility when I picked her up, also she had to share a bin with another child's crib sheet and blanket. Its not sanitary. Also the food menu was not good for the kids. I took her out and she is going to a much better daycare that she absolutely loves the teachers, staff and classmates. She is always happy when we pick her up. She has learned so much in such a short period of time. read more

"just okay". Pros: extremely flexible scheduling (can bring your kid pretty much whenever and you don't pay for the days you don't go), they include diapers and meals/snacks. A few dollars cheaper than most. Cons: am/pm staff have poor communication with each other so when you pick up your kid the afternoon staff have zero clue what happened in the AM. This is concerning when your kid is in a different outfit than you dropped them off in and the staff has no idea why and also can't find their clothes. They've somehow lost my kids clothing and blankets several times. Staff constantly seems overwhelmed and stressed and have a hard time keeping an eye on the kids. My child has come home with unexplained scratches, bite marks, or with peed on pants that went unchanged. This happens quite often and is very disappointing. For this reason we went elsewhere. Hopefully they get these issues fixed for future kids. read more

My lil guy has been going here for a few months now. I can say this is one of the best daycares I have sent a child to ( I have two older toddlers as well). I was hesitant based off of reviews but can't help but appreciate the flexible schedule they allow. I am in sales and my work hours vary tremendously daily. A few other daycares I have put my kids in had an issue with me dropping my kids off at different times or them not being there consistently on the same day each week,but Valley Childcare has never made this an issue and for a working parent, that makes all the difference. This center has no issues going that extra step for all the hot mess moms out there. If there are any concerns they call me right and my sons teachers are always quick to notice if he has a change of temperament or not feeling well that day. They will ask me questions and make me feel as if they care about his well being. I'm so happy I can rely and trust this facility. My son has been going here for 2 years and we couldn't ask for a better experience. He is finishing pre-k and I think his teacher definitely prepared him well for kindergarten. The staff is amazing and the activities are plentiful. The kids are always doing exciting new things and follow weekly and monthly themes. The girls who run the show are 1000% dedicated to making the best experiences for the kids. If you live in the area, I highly recommend taking your little one here. So trustworthy and attentive! We are first time parents with now a 6 month old and our daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 3 months. Since our initial visit while I was still pregnant and looking for a clean, friendly and trustworthy, we visited this location and fell in love with everything about it. Since taking our daughter here, she's connected to multiple staff members and shows such enthusiasm when arriving. ALL the staff is so friendly and you can tell that they love their jobs and they truly care about each child. I feel comfortable that our daughter is cared for and treated well when we are away at work. Their daily rates are truthfully that which has been so nice to have such a flexible schedule with them as sometimes the week can be unpredictable. I would highly recommend this place to any first time parents or anyone looking for a positive experience. read more

The director and staff members at this school do not know how to deal with children who have behavior issues. My son dropped in for a daily visit and within two hours the director was calling me to pick up my son after he had an angry tantrum. He was perfectly calm and fine when I got there to pick him up, but they didn't care to try to help him self-soothe or help him work through his frustrations - they simply picked up the phone and demanded that I come get him. I will NEVER recommend a place like this that doesn't care about anything more than their nearly $50 daily rate (which I had to speak to three different people to get refunded because they originally weren't going to give me my money back!). We were extremely disappointed in this school and how we were treated. Please do not take your children here. read more

The director and staff at this location are rude and predacious. The staff here has taken a personal interest in my girlfriend's divorce and has fallen into the mess of a web of lies the soon to be ex-wife has painted in their eyes. Mind you the ex wife was a stay at home wife for 9yrs and has never paid a dollar out of pocket for her son's day care. My girlfriend as maintain this expense on her own n shares 50/50 custody. I was added to the emergency contact and was fully verified when arriving yesterday to pick up their 4yr son. I was in the classroom for 5 minutes when staff pulls me out claiming I didn't have approval n a call was placed to the parent. They refused to answer why things changed after they had fully verified my access in the system n taken my Id. To my surprise the ex shows up n takes the child on my GF custody day breaking court custody orders n the protective order I have against her. The director took it upon herself to call the ex wife since she felt to be fully aware of the situation. She later admitted she had not gathered any custody orders from either parents n didn't know the situation outside of what the ex shared. since the ex (stay at home mom @ the time) enrolled their son she's consider the primary and deserving of special treatment I guess.... sorry legal orders give both parents the same right. During assign custody dates each parent has the right to appoint an adult to care/pick up the child. I can't begging to imagen how confused n terrify the child felt. read more

I would ( and have) recommend Valley Child Care and Learning Center (75th and Deer Valley) to anyone looking for child care!! We had taken my son to 2 Daycares before deciding to try out Valley. We are so happy that we did! His teachers are AMAZING. They are consistent, very caring and most importantly, my 2 year old adores them. He's constantly doing little crafts. They serve a great variety of food, which is important for me! And I get a detailed breakdown of his day, every single day. (Diaper change times, what he ate for each meal and snack, how much he ate, exact times for nap, etc.) For a working mom who wants to know exactly what's going on every day, they're exactly what I needed. At the end of the day, he's loved and happy. What else can you ask for?! read more

Deceptive pricing! My daughter just turned 1 which is the age where she is due for a price decrease. We were paying $48 per day and once she turned 1, we were told the rate would be $43. However, it's not advertised but they threw a bunch of additional requirements on me and said until they met those that she would stay in the current room and pay a higher rate. Never were these things mentioned or shown to me until I asked about a lower rate. Of course, they are slow to respond to my request to change the pricing and keep saying they've left messages for corporate but no response. Not a good look if you're these guys. Not happy and we won't be returning after the holiday. read more

Our children have loved going here for the last 2 years. I love that lunches and snacks are included in the price, and their drop in policy is amazing. You only pay for the days your kids are there. The teachers love the kids, and my kids love the teachers. I liked the preschool program which is focused on leaning and preparing them for kindergarten. There was no locking door or keypad to ensure that not just anyone could enter the center and/or a child possibly get out of the center. I wanted to leave once I walked in. My husband and I came to have a tour to possibly sign up our children. When we walked in the center director and another young girl working there were talking about their weekend, looked up at us then continued to finish there story then finally asked us if they can help. Then we were redirected to their IPAD to fill out a form. Then we were given the tour. After she told me they just went through a HUGE turn over recently were a lot of people quit, and that most of their people haven't been there long that was the first red flag not to mention no one looked happy, weren't dressed professionally at all including the center director. The rooms all smelt STRONGLY of bleach, were very gross looking and filled to the max with kids. Also, I noticed outside of 3 of the rooms there was a caddy of cleaners OPEN just setting on the floor outside the rooms. I had to grad my child so she didn't get into it and poison herself. Then the director showed us the lunch area and said that sometimes if the kids want to stay there and eat by themselves or with a friend that "Someone" will be watching them. Well needless to say there was NO ONE around that could be watching any kids in that area. Overall I would never bring my child here as it is UNSAFE with an unlocked/Unsecured front door, open containers of deadly cleaners sitting on the floor where a child can easily drink it, get it in their eyes, etc. And the level of professionalism was the worst I've seen for a place like this in my book as a professional myself this was so ridiculous. You'd think if there were scheduled tours that day you'd at least look and act your best. I'm glad I saw that though. read more
