    French Onion Soup

The views are worth it. The outdoor seating area is great, but they do have indoor seating & a fire place for winter months. This visit we sat inside at the covered patio, the water was low (off season) but so clear and beautiful! Bloody Mary - standard, they do add some pickles, celery, olive and peperoncini. The French onion soup - was so good! Came super hot with the perfect cheesy layer on top, and tons of onions and breading inside. Definitely recommend Usually we get burgers or the fish and chips when we come here (both great!) but on this day we both went for the French dip and it was delicious! Would definitely order again!

We came for the school of rock performance. The event ran smoothly and the venue was very unique and had a real Colorado feel Right in a River, the scenery was fantastic! We had a blast. I wish we had an amphitheater like this in AL. The bar restaurant and outdoor seating were great Highly recommend!!

The Mish is a favorite place of mine. This morning they were super gracious to us runners of the Equinox Half Marathon. The food is always great, the music always jams, and the views are scenic and calm.

We had lunch on the deck of the Mish over the Poudre River today. It's a great location. Our server was great. Lizzie was attentive & helpful. We ordered fish & chips & French dip sandwich. The pieces of fish were quite small and definitely NOT the best I ever had. The sandwich was ok and not great. I had to send the Au jus back as it was way too salty to eat. Prices were reasonable. It would be great if the food raised to the level of the setting and the service!

Oooooo this place is so CUTE! Parking is not ideal on the side of the mountain. I was very impressed by the sound and visuals. Lasers bouncing off the trees makes this place so special. So dang pretty. Intimate setting with great bar food. The season is march through October. If it's in fall or spring it gets pretty chilly dress appropriately.

Fantastic location. We had to deal with a terrible bee situation that made us prematurely leave. Good beer selection. We need to come back.

The Rubin is definitely a great example of this restaurant, very good.

Had a really great lunch here, enjoy the Reuben sandwich very much. One of the better Ruben sandwiches I've had. The views on the outside deck are absolutely beautiful and make for a wonderful lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the weather at least at this time of the year was perfect. Nothing like eating a great lunch and hearing the river right next to you. Don't forget to bring your camera for some of the better shots you're going to see in the area.

She was very communicative and involved in the planning process. The space is very beautiful and perfect for 20-50 people in an intimate setting. The food was very good, and all of the staff were very sweet. They answered whatever questions we needed answered. It is a bit of a hands on venue, and you have to hire someone to set up your decor or get someone to help, but that was totally fine. We also did our own music and rented their speaker. Overall, the evening went very smoothly and I would recommend Bristlecone!

The last time we heard from Lori was in early February. When Covid-19 pandemic continued we still did not hear from her; not a word. We made the very hard decision to cancel our wedding due to the fact we are both in the high risk group and many of our guests are as well. We contacted Lori via email. It took us twice before she responded. We were told that we were 12 days outside of the 90 day time period to cancel and she would not be refunding any of our money. She suggested we reschedule for a later date, resign a contract, and we had until mid-October of 2020 to use what we have already paid. When we got a lawyer involved she responded saying we could reschedule through 2021. It is still illegal to have gatherings of more than 10 people. Lori and Stove Prairie Ranch cannot honor their contract they have with us. Our wedding according to our contract is for 12 noon, June 6, 2020. Do NOT do business with Lori or this venue. She is not concerned about your health or safety. She will cash your check.

I'm happy to revise my comments if things change but at this point it's been extremely disappointing (actually stunning, considering the details involved). We paid in full for our daughter's wedding scheduled for early September. The day prior to the wedding, we had a full team of people (about 20 of us) up at the venue to do all the set-up. On the day of the wedding, the fires in the area resulted in us having to do an emergency evacuation from Stove Pairie several hours before the wedding ceremony. Thankfully, a family in town very graciously allowed us to use their home that afternoon. Prior to signing the contract with Stove Prairie, we shared our concerns about the possibility of a fire in the area causing issues with the event. Lori assured me that if Stove Prairie was unable to host the event for any reason, especially in the case of a fire, we would receive a full refund. It's now been almost 3 months since the wedding date and no refund. They've offered a 50% refund, which is ridiculous. I'm still hoping this gets worked out. Lori seemed very nice the times we met with her. And the setting is beautiful - our kids were extremely disappointed the event was not able to take place there as planned. But the fact is, the event was NOT able to take place at Stove Prairie. And they're offering a 50% refund? Nonsensical. Although, as I read the other review here, maybe there's a pattern? They say you discover what a person is really like when the pressure and stress increases. 2020 has been an extremely stressful year for everyone. I'm sure it's been a difficult time for Stove Prairie's team as well. But to offer a 50% refund for an event that was unable to take place seems... well... somewhat of a warning sign for those considering this location in the future.

While it is industrial space it was cozy and just the right size for our group of ~120. We live in Seattle so planning an event remotely can be challenging, but Rebecca made it very easy for us with her excellent communication and great recommendations for party rentals and bartenders. Day of the event we were able to gain access to the space with plenty of time to set up and be prepared for our guest. We had a Studio staff member on site during our event for any support we needed - she was great! Plenty of parking for guest and a quick Uber (10 min from our hotel). I highly recommend The Studio for an event. We would definitely consider it for another party.

We did pay extra to have the Edison lights put up, (click on the photo to see them) which I recommend. We also used candles in hurricane containers which I also recommend as it gave the event a bit of magic. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are doing a week day event, you cannot get in to do decorating until 4:30p since this is a place of work. It did make our start time of 6p a little tight. We had the event catered but used disposable/compostable products. The kitchen area is open and perfect for a buffet. We also arranged for a Sweet Cow ice cream truck to come for dessert, which was a big hit and fun way to end the evening. I would do another party there given the chance.
