Park management was pleasant and maintenance guys very knowledgeable. As the years went by the management and park went down hill. We at one time talked about doing a rent to own option we asked what the Dollar amt would be for the rent to own we were told you rent it for 5yrs and at the end of the 5yrs we then tell you what the cost would be to purchase the home. So the was a big flag of NO WAY WE WOULD BE DOING A RENT TO OWN. we also asked if the could replace the front stairs because the step rise was tooo high we were having a hard time going up and down them, well let's just say we kept getting the run around regarding the front steps being replaced. The screens in the AZ room out side kept getting blown off every time we had a dust storm or a heavy rain. We also had a lovely little woodpecker that put a sm circle up by the roof of the home, I lost count on how many times I would ask about having the hole repaired( once again kept getting the run around on repairing it). The park had changed management 3 times since we moved in. The 2nd park manager did know or do squat regarding and repairs. We would say something that needed a repair and nothing never got done. This last manager kept telling us that the front stairs would be replaced but never got done. Then I Jan 2026 we were told that the stairs would be done the 1st part of the year. Well as if May2026 when we finally got fed up and decided to move out the stairs still not done. During the later part of 2025 the park all of a sudden decided that it was the renters responsibility to have any palm trees trimmed at our cost up until then the park paid to have them trimmed plus the was a rain water run off at the back of our home we rented we asked when we 1st moved in who was responsible for removing the weeds in the run off area and we were told it was the park's responsibility to take care of it. Well once again the newest park manager said that it was our responsibility to have them removed. Now let just say that every years the lot rents would increase but nothing ever got done. The best part was (NOT!!!!) they would do inspections on the property and everything would a pass the inspections but all off a sudden after we moved out we were told we didn't have to worry about cleaning the place because they decided that they were going to remodel this 1984 2bd, 2ba home when they did the final inspection everything failed which ment it was the managements way saying your not getting your deposit back. They claimed they used it for cleaning. We asked for asked for a line by line cost detail on what my 800.00 deposit was used for. We are still waiting on it. ONCE AGAIN THE PARK OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT ARE CROOKS.

Recently they got new management. They kicked us out for our fence, which was there to protect our pets and our possessions. They don't know what the lot sizes are (70X50 for a trailer and 70X30 for a RV, per code). They are rude and think they are better than others. The owner considers the park a 5 star property, I think it would be pushing it to call it a one star property.

Shortly afterward, I discovered the mobile home had multiple health and safety hazards that were cited by the gas company. Because of these issues, I did not sign the lease or move in. Despite this, Mark Galbraith kept my money ($2,025) and stopped returning my calls/texts. I reported the situation to the Brighthaven Estates manager, Ron. While he was very pleasant and said he would follow up, I never heard back. This leads me to believe that management is aware of -- and allowing -- owners to rent out unsafe mobile homes.

The parks upkeep is phenomenal, it's always landscaped nicely and the pools are always cleaned beautifully . They offer great and clean amenities that I use often . The plants are nice but there is always so much pollen on the ground everywhere around the plaza. Probably not much you can do about the pollen but maybe have landscaping or maintenance check some of the outdoor portions of the plaza. Other than that great complex also located next to a grocery store, gas station and food places.

Having Jaime Gibson as our manager and staunch supporter is the icing on the cake. She listens to all of our comments and finds the best solution to satisfy both corporate owners and the people in this community. Very professional in all she does. The park itself is getting upgraded on a continuous basis.. New homes are coming in to replace where much older homes have been taken away for our safetty. Our clubhouse is now home to the office making it easy to connect. Mailroom & laundry room are being repaired after a water leak! I (we) couldn't be happier with Jaime's commitment to us and our community. She has made the transition from a 55+ park to an All age park, easy to understand.
