Attended a birthday celebration here in 2/4/26. The atmosphere is very loud, the waitress barely understood my order without repeating it a couple of times. I ordered the shrimp habachi. The waitress brought me the salmon which was clearly my order. Did I mention that the mis music was very loud matching club level. the birthday person ordered the oysters, the wings flight, Mac& cheese along with a side of yams. The oysters were under cooked as well as the wings. The manure looks good but looks can be deceiving. Something on the menu was over priced for the amount of good you get. I have observed numerous advertisements showcasing appetizing food. Nevertheless, upon visiting, our order was inaccurately processed. The server admitted to overlooking one of the orders and informed us that the management would not remove the item from the bill, despite it not being served. The quality of the wings was horrible. The lack of flavor in the sauce or seasoning made them unappetizing. Additionally, the mac & cheese lacked taste and seemed overpriced considering we ordered two drinks and two meals, that totaled $148.24 yet were charged for a third meal due to the server's error. This is a lively sports bar and restaurant. We visited on a Sunday around 3pm and were warmly greeted and quickly seated. Our waitress kindly introduced herself after a moment. It was about 30 minutes before our drinks and water arrived, and about 45 minutes for our appetizer--definitely worth the wait! For our dinners, we enjoyed some outstanding fried chicken wings, delicious salmon croquettes, and the lamb chops were truly the best. All the side dishes--collard greens, red beans and rice, and macaroni and cheese--were exceptionally flavorful, with a lovely cheese pull. The Fried Wings were FIRE! Some of the best wings I have had. Not greasy, crispy, and crunchy. My son loved them and asked for more! The Smoked Gouda Grits, FIRE! Delicious! I went to sunrise on Sunday and I was not happy. When you walk in the music is very loud just like a night club and I was ready to go then but I was with a friend. I will say the food is very good I would get it as a call in order next time but the service was not good it took 2 hours to get our food I wanted to just pay for my drink and leave. Went there last night (03/13/2026) for a birthday party. I will start by saying the food was good. However, because the 18% gratuity is already added to the bill, it appeared the wait staff did not care about the quality of service. The young lady never told us her name. When asked about the types of tequila and vodka the young lady went and got a drink menu; that is not what we asked for. Then when my friend asked again what kind of vodka they had because it's not on the drink menu as the drink menu has mixed drinks listed, she got a little smart at the mouth. We ordered the pick 3 with 2 drinks and the bill was $70, rounding up. Now, the price isn't not the issue, my issue is, I was never given a receipt showing the charges BEFORE paying nor did I receive a receipt AFTER paying. I literally had to keep asking for my receipt. After about an hour or so of not getting my receipt, the young lady goes and tells the lady whose party it was that I was, I guess getting on her nerves. So, the birthday lady comes and tells me she works there too and she picked her to work her party to make the money and to be patient. I told the lady I get it you want your friend to make the money, but once my meal is paid for I need my receipt and should've had one before I paid to show the breakdown of my order. This place has now become a traditional destination! A must! We travel to Chicago often and found this jewel. The customer service was awesome. Our server didn't miss a beat! Walking in gave an old time restaurant feeling. One you would enjoy with friends and family. The decor was calming and really set the tone for comfort. Lastly but not least the food was AMAZING! He says they don't replace meals and offers a cup of sauce with nothing to put it on. So they made my order wrong yesterday, promised to fix it then changed there mind when I got back up here. Then I get the sauce and it's labeled wrong. On their website I selected and paid for 100mg they give me a cup clearly labeled 50mg and said well the website is wrong. For the food to be only standard. I would rather go somewhere that keeps there word and sales accurately especially when talking about infused products. I want what I paid for.
