Hello! This place was great until she became rude one day and refuse to sell to me of no where, I've been a customer for a long time, I believe she's racist and doesn't like Mexicans, also this place has so much roaches. Don't recommend no one to come here. Paying for donuts to the owner for poor quality customer service is not worth it. Do better or don't own a donuts shop!!

Excellent donut shop with plenty of fresh donuts late in the day. I was able to pick up all our favorites like buttermilk bars and Boston cream. Friendly service and no waiting!

Decided to continue my donut tour through LA and spotted this donut joint near Little Saigon of the LA suburb Westminster. Little did I know when driving up, and mentioned in several other Yelp reviews, that Sun's is immediately next door to Hong Kong Express Chinese takeaway restaurant that went viral in early 2024. So if you're visiting Hong Kong Express and there is a long line, pop over to Sun's and get a donut while waiting. Pros: - Good variety of pastries including muffins, croissants, and donuts. - I picked up a cinnamon roll with icing ($3.00) which I liked. Was soft and chewy! - Small place, but there was no line when I visited on a Saturday evening. - Plenty of parking as it's located in a shopping center. - Good prices compared to other popular donut shops as their cake and raised donuts are $1.95 each. Cons: - If you're looking for a huge variety of specialty donuts like what you find at Randy's Donuts, you won't find that here. Just your standard fare is available. Still a solid option for a great traditional donut or a snack while waiting in line at Hong Kong Express.

Mid-afternoon sweets. I ran in to buy Super Lotto tickets at Sun's Donuts... not a problem as I was helped at the counter right away by a friendly gentleman. Got my Lotto and he ask if I needed anything else. Oh, that was a really good marketing question. I looked over to the donut displayed behind the glass counter and yeah that is when that want for something sweet set in. A plumpy raspberry filled sugar coated round one for the lovely missus and she took just 5 bites and it was devoured. Wow. She really liked the freshness even at this afternoon time of the day. My choice was for what I call a bear claw; a soft apple filling folded over sugar coated tart that looks like the footprint of a CA brown bear. But, I took a single bite and YES, it was a nice way to get that sweet tooth satisfied. I am having the rest in slow motion as I take my time to finish this sweet delight. I was glad to stop at Sun's Donuts for Lotto and sweet Donuts.

I visited this little donut shop due to the Hong Kong express having a long line because TikTok blew it up! So while we waited I wanted to get dessert so I decided to get a donut. The lady was very nice and attentive. I got half a dozen of donuts but this sweetheart gave me like a couple free donuts just cause. Super sweet! And also the red velvet glaze donut was soooooo yummy! I wanted to eat another but then I wouldn't fit the dinner in. Definitely check out this donut place!

The donuts and coffee are simple yet nice to get. Plain decor to view coming in. Service was decent as can be more energetic. Got some lotto tickets sold here.

Too greasy, weird aftertastes, terrible terrible heartburn and upset stomach after... And with these, I didn't experience any of that(a little burpy after, but I mean, it's donuts... LOL) We only tried 3 different donuts, but they were all so bomb. The churro donut was my favorite. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just like a real churro, but didn't get soggy. The Nutella Malasada was full of Nutella and it was actually my first time trying a malasada... bomb! The cookies and creme mochi was a nice surprise too. The cream was actually very flavorful and not just like a plain creme with Oreos thrown in like I've often seen. I'm sure all of the donuts would be really good here. I will definitely make a trek here again one of these days.

They had hundreds of donuts sitting out, no labels, we had to ask what everything was. Ended up buying four for $13, not bad. Came home and took a bite of each one. None of the donuts tasted fresh, I am sure they were made hours before we bought them. Churro was super hard and stale, salted caramel literally tasted like nothing, blueberry tasted like sweet artificial fruit, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was the best one. If I lived nearby, I might get that one again, but this is not a place to go out of the way and try.

I asked if she could add a little ice to my hot coffee because my hands were not clean. She pointed to the ice and told me to get it myself. When I explained that my hands were dirty, she started making faces and rudely said, "GET IT." After that, I wanted to order a donut but was deciding between a chocolate bar and a maple bar. She impatiently asked, "What do you want now?" in a raised voice. I ended up saying, "Just give me anything." She then threw the donut onto the counter. I told her that this was not a good way to treat customers, and she replied, "I DON'T CARE." When I said I would not be coming back because of the way she treated me, she responded, "I don't care. I don't want your business," and walked away to continue cleaning. Unfortunately, this is not the first time she has treated me this way. After reading the reviews for this donut shop, I noticed many other customers have had similar experiences and left reviews describing the same rude behavior. Customer service matters, and no customer should be treated with this level of disrespect.

They are packed with fudge on the inside and topped with chocolate chips. You will not be disappointed. * **Ham and Cheese Croissant:** This is hands-down the best I've ever had. They do not "cheese out" on the ingredients--it's a very generous portion of ham and plenty of cheese. The prices are right, the food is fresh, and the service makes you feel like a valued guest. Coming in, the interior aesthetic and space of…read morethe cafe was unexpectedly nice (I looove the individual lamps and it does seem study space friendly; FYI just a corridor of seating so probably not for popular days). The staff was nice and chill and let us just vibe. I got the corn einspanner **** be sure to sip and not mix with a straw** again as a PSA please sip with lid for optimal corn cream maximisation. The corn cream was perfect in the optimization of corn flavor(need to steal the recipe). The little corn is a white chocolate that was drowning by the time I took the picutre hehe oops. Their coffee has a little bit of an acidity to it, but once mixed the coffee will overpower the corn a bit. I also tried the jasmine yuzu which had a light yuzu kick to the tea. They were out of original plain salt bread by the afternoon, but did do a light restock of flavored ones. The good thing is, they don't fill the inside of the bread with stuff so its the same thing with a touch of topping. We got the bacon scallion salt bread. If you have seen salt bread recipe videos, it is exactly like that. Not light like other bakerys, it has a oily thick crust on the bottom that lowkey (highkey) would make a great pairing with melted cheese and like.. as a pizza yum.. or like a grilled corn cheese.. or sweet corn.... i just like corn. The salt bread was buttery, with nice crust, rather oily fyi for your fingers, and good flavor. The topping was medium cream (mayo) and slightly sweet like asian hot dog bun. Overall, i think compared to prices of other cafes these days in OC this place was actually really reasonable. For the vibes, versatility of study vs chatting, interior aesthetic, quality of flavors, and bakery options it was a hit for me. Only thing is seating might be hard to get on busy days! Also it's in that nice big plaza so good parking.

The Korean salt bread is amazing here!…read more First off, this place is pretty cute. Staff were very friendly and greeted us when we entered. They have so many different pastry options. We opted for the truffle Korean salt bread, pistachio cream donut, and yuzu croissant. For drinks, we got a matcha latte and corn latte. Drinks were mid. The matcha was more grassy, and the corn latte was a bit on the sweet side for me. The espresso was smooth, though. The truffle Korean salt bread was warmed up, and it was light, crispy, chewy, and fragrant with butter and truffle. I wish I got another one! The pistachio cream donut had a generous amount of cream, lightly pistachio flavor. The donut itself was a bit soggy and cold. It seemed the donut was refrigerated, which makes sense for the cream. The yuzu croissant was more sticky from the sugar glaze on it. It was a bit stale on the following day after we got it, but that's my fault for eating it the following day. Parking lot was not too crowded when we were there. Overall, I would highly recommend their Korean salt bread!
