The Korean salt bread is amazing here! First off, this place is pretty cute. Staff were very friendly and greeted us when we entered. They have so many different pastry options. We opted for the truffle Korean salt bread, pistachio cream donut, and yuzu croissant. For drinks, we got a matcha latte and corn latte. Drinks were mid. The matcha was more grassy, and the corn latte was a bit on the sweet side for me. The espresso was smooth, though. The truffle Korean salt bread was warmed up, and it was light, crispy, chewy, and fragrant with butter and truffle. I wish I got another one! The pistachio cream donut had a generous amount of cream, lightly pistachio flavor. The donut itself was a bit soggy and cold. It seemed the donut was refrigerated, which makes sense for the cream. The yuzu croissant was more sticky from the sugar glaze on it. It was a bit stale on the following day after we got it, but that's my fault for eating it the following day. Parking lot was not too crowded when we were there. Overall, I would highly recommend their Korean salt bread!

Finally got around to trying this place and I understand the hype! Didn't try the drinks this time around but was able to catch some of the salt bread selection It was about 2pm on a Friday so they were winding down to the last few, but we were able to catch an original salt bread, honey garlic, and strawberry cream! All of which were amazing. Get them warmed up so you can enjoy it fresh!! That way, the bottoms were crispy and the butter was really melty and delicious. My favorite was probably the original, you really can't go wrong and they incorporate so much butter while maintaining the fluffy bread somehow it was almost a guilty pleasure food

My first time trying salt bread that isn't homemade LOL so good!!! We got the original, honey garlic, and strawberry ones and they were all good. My favorite was the original though you can't go wrong with that one! The service was pretty standard and the store looks very aesthetic also I could imagine coming here to study. We didn't try any of the drinks so might have to come back again sometime.

THE BEST SALT BREAD after living in Korea and Japan for a short time i've been addicted and looking for the best salt bread back in cali and i think i found it. idk how the coffee here even tastes but i do know their salt bread is to die for. just the right amount of fluffy, creamy, crispy, and salty. it's just perfect and you need to try it here too. Salt bread: Get if you want the bread and butter (pun intended) and classic deliciousness, this is it. Honey garlic: Get If you want a little bit of flavor and sweetness, this is itttt Mayo egg: Skip honestly, this was kind of a miss compared to the above but i don't even mind at this point because the others were so good

I have been wanting to try this spot for awhile and finally was in the area. The shop is cozy and has a nice interior design and decorations. There was a lot of food and sweets to choose from which was refreshing. The line was quick and the drinks didn't take long to come out. I got the yuzu matcha tonic and it was a nice twist. Overall not bad.

I came here to study and because I wanted to try their viral salt breads! Most of the workers were nice but I noticed one of the guys was being very rude to some customers after me just because they were having difficulty ordering and took a bit of awhile to decide exactly what they wanted. Thought that was really weird and off-putting. The tables inside are really uncomfortably low so not the best place to study in my opinion. Also the AC was blasting so I was really cold, which is rare for me because I run really warm. Coffee wasn't that great to me, it tasted pretty smoky and I barely tasted the flavor in my tiramisu latte. What I would come back for are some of the pastries that I had! The ham and cheese croissant was fine, I probably wouldn't get it again. Also it was still cold in the inside even after they heated it up. For the salt breads, my favorite were the truffle, mentaiko, and bacon and scallion. I just wish there was more filling for the mentaiko and the bacon and scallion rolls. The egg sando one was a bit too creamy and heavy for me because the roll was already so buttery. I'd probably skip the creme brulee one for the same reason because it was sooo sweet and overwhelming. If I were to come back I'd probably just get one salt bread because it lowkey made me feel sick after eating it. I think it was just the sheer amount of butter in each roll but they are so yummy and addicting!

I finally found a yummy Korean salt bread spot! Ced Coffee and Donuts is located in a bustling shopping plaza. When you enter, they have a display case with all of their salt breads, bagels, and other pastries on display. If you go later in the day, some flavors may be sold out. I tried the Honey Garlic Salt Bread, Scallion Cheese Bacon Salt Bread, and Creme Brulee Salt Bread. All of them were tasty, and the texture is light and airy. I also tried a Sweet Onion Cheese Bagel, and that one was good as well. They will warm them up for you if you'd like! They also have some drinks available, but there is only one small menu at the register, so it's a little difficult to view and decide what you want before going up to the cashier.

I am OBSESSED with these SALT BREADs! The texture is so beautifully light and crisp, and I love the savory options of Scallion Cheese Bacon (salty and cheesy) and Egg Mayo (like a Japanese Egg sando). I've also tried the Mentaiko Salt Bread, but it was just a little too salty and too fishy tasting. These are so good that I would choose this over Okayama's pastries any day.

Ummmmm love the salt bread selection here!!! Probably one of the best selections in OC. Great matcha selection as well!

been wanting to try this place out for a while! they have a nice array of baked goods on display. plenty of varieties of salt bread as well! i got the chocolate milk and yuzu matcha tonic along with a salt bread. service was prompt and we didn't wait that long to get our drinks. the chocolate drink was a dream!!! the consistency is thicker and the chocolate flavor is so profound. also loved the tonic, it had the perfect blend of matcha aroma and the yuzu added a nice sweetness. tonics could be a little bitter but it paired nicely with these flavors :) salt bread was also delicious! nice crispy bottom and they heated it up for us

First time in this location, space is a lil bigger and has more wider range of selection to choose from! From a wide array of salt breads and croissants to matchas and lattes I recommend their honey garlic salt bread As far as drink, I got their standard matcha latte, I say this is probably a skip. With all sorts of cafe shops in OC, this was very underwhelming. For $7 it was not even filled all the way and the taste was lacking Maybe just go here for bread?

    Lauren C.

Open on Christmas Day and it was packed! I got the Tiramisu Einspanner and my sister got the Sweet Corn Einspanner. Service was great. It was busy. There was a line when I arrived but it went by quickly. I didn't feel like getting a matcha on this day, but I'm curious to see how the matcha is here. My drink was fine. Not super memorable, but definitely not bad.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12
