This location specifically gets a 4/5 star just because the service has always been incredibly slow. I've gone multiple times at different times and days and it is slow regardless if there is only 1 group in front of you or 6 groups. But the food and coffee are soooo good regardless and honestly worth the wait. my favorite is the garlic salt bread, but honestly all their pastries are good. Their coffee is also sooo good. Today I tried their muscova latte and it was a bit too much milk for me. I think I prefer the tiramisu more. Plenty of parking space as well. I think the westminister location is just a bit faster in service
Love their pastries selection, especially the salt bread when toasted. We tried their Strawberry Cake Donut, but it was more of a brioche donut so not quite expecting that. Also got a Sweet Corn Einspänner and it was true to the name! Caffeinated with a sweetness to it, but you have to be in the mood for it.
Nooo I missed the banana matcha soft serve cone ;;. Coming in, the interior aesthetic and space of the cafe was unexpectedly nice (I looove the individual lamps and it does seem study space friendly; FYI just a corridor of seating so probably not for popular days). The staff was nice and chill and let us just vibe. I got the corn einspanner **** be sure to sip and not mix with a straw** again as a PSA please sip with lid for optimal corn cream maximisation. The corn cream was perfect in the optimization of corn flavor(need to steal the recipe). The little corn is a white chocolate that was drowning by the time I took the picutre hehe oops. Their coffee has a little bit of an acidity to it, but once mixed the coffee will overpower the corn a bit. I also tried the jasmine yuzu which had a light yuzu kick to the tea. They were out of original plain salt bread by the afternoon, but did do a light restock of flavored ones. The good thing is, they don't fill the inside of the bread with stuff so its the same thing with a touch of topping. We got the bacon scallion salt bread. If you have seen salt bread recipe videos, it is exactly like that. Not light like other bakerys, it has a oily thick crust on the bottom that lowkey (highkey) would make a great pairing with melted cheese and like.. as a pizza yum.. or like a grilled corn cheese.. or sweet corn.... i just like corn. The salt bread was buttery, with nice crust, rather oily fyi for your fingers, and good flavor. The topping was medium cream (mayo) and slightly sweet like asian hot dog bun. Overall, i think compared to prices of other cafes these days in OC this place was actually really reasonable. For the vibes, versatility of study vs chatting, interior aesthetic, quality of flavors, and bakery options it was a hit for me. Only thing is seating might be hard to get on busy days! Also it's in that nice big plaza so good parking.
The Korean salt bread is amazing here! First off, this place is pretty cute. Staff were very friendly and greeted us when we entered. They have so many different pastry options. We opted for the truffle Korean salt bread, pistachio cream donut, and yuzu croissant. For drinks, we got a matcha latte and corn latte. Drinks were mid. The matcha was more grassy, and the corn latte was a bit on the sweet side for me. The espresso was smooth, though. The truffle Korean salt bread was warmed up, and it was light, crispy, chewy, and fragrant with butter and truffle. I wish I got another one! The pistachio cream donut had a generous amount of cream, lightly pistachio flavor. The donut itself was a bit soggy and cold. It seemed the donut was refrigerated, which makes sense for the cream. The yuzu croissant was more sticky from the sugar glaze on it. It was a bit stale on the following day after we got it, but that's my fault for eating it the following day. Parking lot was not too crowded when we were there. Overall, I would highly recommend their Korean salt bread!
I've always thought Céd was a decent spot for both pastries and lattes but I wouldn't say I crave anything in particular if I was away. The best item in my personal opinion would have to be their chewy bagels because they're super soft, mildly sweet and match the flavor they're named perfectly, especially the ube bagel. I also appreciate how it seems like they use quality ingredients and are transparent about their origin. The reason why I docked a star is because of the somewhat recent change to the double matcha latte. I remember it tasting stronger and more flavorful prior to today's double matcha from Céd. They also seemed to downsize which sucks because I would assume if the cup is smaller, the matcha would be stronger simply because of the proportion but that was not the case. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming here for their matcha lattes anymore but I will if I ever miss their bagels because they are really good.
I stopped by on a Monday afternoon and was still honestly surprised to see the shop pretty empty! My first visit was at the beginning of 2025, and so much has changed since then. Their menu has expanded with what feels like endless Korean-inspired pastries, and I want to to try everything on their menu! This time, I ordered the crème brûlée salt bread, a corn einspanner, and the strawberry double matcha. Everything was SO delicious. The salt bread had a crunchy exterior and the perfect balance of sweetness and richness, and both drinks were refreshing and flavorful. I'm already planning my next visit because I need to try their tteokbokki bagel! The service was great, my drinks came out quickly, and I really loved the interior, it feels modern, cozy, and was overall just very aesthetic. Everything here is worth the hype and attention it's been getting. If you're a fan of Korean-inspired pastries and creative drinks, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

Finally got around to trying this place and I understand the hype! Didn't try the drinks this time around but was able to catch some of the salt bread selection It was about 2pm on a Friday so they were winding down to the last few, but we were able to catch an original salt bread, honey garlic, and strawberry cream! All of which were amazing. Get them warmed up so you can enjoy it fresh!! That way, the bottoms were crispy and the butter was really melty and delicious. My favorite was probably the original, you really can't go wrong and they incorporate so much butter while maintaining the fluffy bread somehow it was almost a guilty pleasure food
I hate that I love these pastries so much because they're a little pricey (around $5 each), but they're absolutely worth it! Everything is incredibly buttery, fresh, and delicious. My absolute favorite is the ube bagel--I love it so much that I've probably ordered it at least 10 times! They also make one of the best strawberry double matcha drinks I've ever had. Honestly, I love everything about this bakery and always look forward to coming back.
salted bread was super buttery (a lil too oily) and flavorful. crunchy outside, soft airy inside sweet corn einspanner - sweet corn flavor was v yummy. not too sweet overall! service was good. the worker was rly helpful. the store inside wasn't too well ventilated though. it was pretty stuffy inside especially in the summer
My first time trying salt bread that isn't homemade LOL so good!!! We got the original, honey garlic, and strawberry ones and they were all good. My favorite was the original though you can't go wrong with that one! The service was pretty standard and the store looks very aesthetic also I could imagine coming here to study. We didn't try any of the drinks so might have to come back again sometime.
THE BEST SALT BREAD after living in Korea and Japan for a short time i've been addicted and looking for the best salt bread back in cali and i think i found it. idk how the coffee here even tastes but i do know their salt bread is to die for. just the right amount of fluffy, creamy, crispy, and salty. it's just perfect and you need to try it here too. Salt bread: Get if you want the bread and butter (pun intended) and classic deliciousness, this is it. Honey garlic: Get If you want a little bit of flavor and sweetness, this is itttt Mayo egg: Skip honestly, this was kind of a miss compared to the above but i don't even mind at this point because the others were so good
I came here to study and because I wanted to try their viral salt breads! Most of the workers were nice but I noticed one of the guys was being very rude to some customers after me just because they were having difficulty ordering and took a bit of awhile to decide exactly what they wanted. Thought that was really weird and off-putting. The tables inside are really uncomfortably low so not the best place to study in my opinion. Also the AC was blasting so I was really cold, which is rare for me because I run really warm. Coffee wasn't that great to me, it tasted pretty smoky and I barely tasted the flavor in my tiramisu latte. What I would come back for are some of the pastries that I had! The ham and cheese croissant was fine, I probably wouldn't get it again. Also it was still cold in the inside even after they heated it up. For the salt breads, my favorite were the truffle, mentaiko, and bacon and scallion. I just wish there was more filling for the mentaiko and the bacon and scallion rolls. The egg sando one was a bit too creamy and heavy for me because the roll was already so buttery. I'd probably skip the creme brulee one for the same reason because it was sooo sweet and overwhelming. If I were to come back I'd probably just get one salt bread because it lowkey made me feel sick after eating it. I think it was just the sheer amount of butter in each roll but they are so yummy and addicting!

Really loved Ced Coffee! The Strawberry Double Matcha was definitely my favorite. It was super smooth and creamy, and the strawberry made it sweet without being too much. We also got a bunch of their pastries and honestly everything was so good. They were fresh, flavorful, and tasted amazing. I liked that they had both sweet and savory ones too, so we got to try a little bit of everything. The service was also wonderful. Everyone was really nice, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back again, especially for the Strawberry Double Matcha. 10/10 recommend! read more
My aunt comes here ALL the time, so today, we also stopped by lmao. I think this is her favorite coffee shop in GG. The cafe is small, but it's clean and cutely decorated. There's also quite a bit of seating. My aunt and I ordered the tiramisu einspanner, less sweet, with oat milk. My aunt LOVES it. I think it's pretty good when mixed with the cream. If you drink it without mixing, the coffee is a bit bitter with a sourish(?) taste, but paired with the cream, it balances out! Not bad at all. The cafe also sells pastries, but I have yet to try any. Service was ok- drinks came out a bit slow despite the us being the only ones ordering at the time. There's a lot of parking space. Overall, it was a decent experience. Not my go-to cafe, but since my aunt (and cousin and cousin's bf) love this place, I'll bump it up to a 4 star! read more
CED Coffee has quickly become one of my favorite bakeries in Orange County. If you love salt bread, this is the place to go. They have the best selection in OC, with so many creative flavors that it's hard to choose just one. The bread is always soft, fluffy, buttery, and perfectly baked. Their matcha is just as impressive--smooth, rich, and earthy without being overly sweet. It pairs perfectly with any of the pastries. The café is bright, clean, and has a modern vibe that's great for relaxing or catching up with friends. Between the incredible salt bread, quality drinks, and welcoming atmosphere, I can definitely see why this spot has become so popular. I'll be coming back often to try the rest of the menu. read more

I finally found a yummy Korean salt bread spot! Ced Coffee and Donuts is located in a bustling shopping plaza. When you enter, they have a display case with all of their salt breads, bagels, and other pastries on display. If you go later in the day, some flavors may be sold out. I tried the Honey Garlic Salt Bread, Scallion Cheese Bacon Salt Bread, and Creme Brulee Salt Bread. All of them were tasty, and the texture is light and airy. I also tried a Sweet Onion Cheese Bagel, and that one was good as well. They will warm them up for you if you'd like! They also have some drinks available, but there is only one small menu at the register, so it's a little difficult to view and decide what you want before going up to the cashier. read more

I am OBSESSED with these SALT BREADs! The texture is so beautifully light and crisp, and I love the savory options of Scallion Cheese Bacon (salty and cheesy) and Egg Mayo (like a Japanese Egg sando). I've also tried the Mentaiko Salt Bread, but it was just a little too salty and too fishy tasting. These are so good that I would choose this over Okayama's pastries any day. read more
I have been wanting to try this spot for awhile and finally was in the area. The shop is cozy and has a nice interior design and decorations. There was a lot of food and sweets to choose from which was refreshing. The line was quick and the drinks didn't take long to come out. I got the yuzu matcha tonic and it was a nice twist. Overall not bad. read more
Open on Christmas Day and it was packed! I got the Tiramisu Einspanner and my sister got the Sweet Corn Einspanner. Service was great. It was busy. There was a line when I arrived but it went by quickly. I didn't feel like getting a matcha on this day, but I'm curious to see how the matcha is here. My drink was fine. Not super memorable, but definitely not bad. read more
First time in this location, space is a lil bigger and has more wider range of selection to choose from! From a wide array of salt breads and croissants to matchas and lattes I recommend their honey garlic salt bread As far as drink, I got their standard matcha latte, I say this is probably a skip. With all sorts of cafe shops in OC, this was very underwhelming. For $7 it was not even filled all the way and the taste was lacking Maybe just go here for bread? read more

Late post because I've been lazy but Ced Cafe is definitely one of those places I'd go back to. I really liked the savory pastries--they were fresh, filling, and full of flavor. The drinks were just as good (their matcha was ). It's a cute little café with a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for brunch or an afternoon coffee run. Wanted to try some pastries so I found this little Korean bakery/cafe! The box and presentation were so cute! They also had a deal going on for the donuts so we grabbed a few. They were good and not too sweet like normal American donuts. I forgot to take a picture but my favorite was the garlic salt bread! Staff was able to warm it up for us and it was so buttery, sweet, salty garlicky. I would go back just for that. Next time I'll try the drinks. read more
When I tell you this is the best korean salt bread in OC, this is it!! I've been missing Korea for how accessible salt bread is and now it's a 45 minute drive.... BUT at least it's here! Even there are a lot of salt bread cafes popping up, I think this has to be 1 on my list. My recco is to ask for it to be warmed up! It's buttery and crunchy. There's a lil lack of breading in the center but it's still so good. The Matcha here is sweet even with less sweetener (simple syrup). I think it's a solid if you need a pick me up. The sweet potato ube bagel is chewy, buttery, and has a sweet potato filling. This was good but I wouldn't get again. Til next time, I will be picking up a box of salt bread for myself. read more
been wanting to try this place out for a while! they have a nice array of baked goods on display. plenty of varieties of salt bread as well! i got the chocolate milk and yuzu matcha tonic along with a salt bread. service was prompt and we didn't wait that long to get our drinks. the chocolate drink was a dream!!! the consistency is thicker and the chocolate flavor is so profound. also loved the tonic, it had the perfect blend of matcha aroma and the yuzu added a nice sweetness. tonics could be a little bitter but it paired nicely with these flavors :) salt bread was also delicious! nice crispy bottom and they heated it up for us read more
Came here on a whim the first time and I didn't know they had salt bread!! And I had to come back a second time. They have a lot of different flavors of salt bread, and they are sooo good. Be sure to ask them to warm them up for you, they taste even better! They have the crunchiness and butteriness that's so so good. I think my favorites are the original, honey garlic, and creme brulee salt breads. The drinks are really good quality and yummy too. I've tried the double strawberry matcha and sweet corn einspanner, both are delicious! The inside has plenty of tables inside to sit and chit chat. I think they do sell out of their salt breads, so go earlier rather than later. Will definitely be back!! read more
Came back again since I was craving their strawberry matcha and it was even better than the first time! You can taste the quality in the matcha and the quality of the milk and cream that goes into it. It's also a must to grab a pastry while you are there! Inside is pretty small so seats can fill up quick but it's a good spot. Staff is always very friendly when I come here. I'll be back! read more

I found this spot on Instagram and knew I had to check it out--salt bread is everywhere right now, and this place did not disappoint. It's a cute little cafe where you can just catch up with a friend. I ordered the strawberry matcha, which was absolutely delightful, and my friend got the sweet corn coffee. They really nailed the cream on that one. We tried a few different salt bread flavors, and the honey garlic was hands down my favorite--perfectly crispy, buttery, and so flavorful. I brought the rest home, and within five minutes my husband had devoured every last piece. Definitely a must-try if you're on the salt bread train. read more

Stopped by in hopes of trying a few of their donuts but unfortunately they were sold out of most of the popular items. That being said, we still tried some really great stuff today. The shop is located in a plaza with plenty of parking nearby, and the shop is super cute and modern. Service was great, everyone was friendly and quick to serve. Got the Brown Sugar & Tiramisu Einspänners, along with and Almond Croissant and Strawberry Donut. The Einspänners were great (great coffee, not too sweet) and the Almond Croissant was one of the best I've had in recent memory (tons of almond filling, flaky, not sickly sweet). The Strawberry Donut was very fresh and well-made, but there wasn't anything "strawberry" about it aside from the strawberry on top (probably wouldn't get it again). Regardless, this was a great coffee spot and I plan to come back earlier next time to try more stuff. Definitely give it a shot and make sure to arrive early! read more
I grew up on this street. For the first ten years of growing up in California my aunt had her business just a few blocks from here. We would come to this area every summer for the Korean festival held where my dreams of becoming a singer and the frivolity of the rides and lights always captured my attention. A lot has happened to Garden Grove since then. Long standing businesses have shut down and many of the shopping plazas once filled to the brim with people and vehicles now serve as empty parking lots and loitering spaces for diners after a meal. I find it hard to see how the energy of Garden Grove has simmered down, but when I see places like Ced Coffee & Donut popping up I'm excited for what possibilities it brings. Firstly, the shop is quite cozy. Styling is a mixture of Scandinavian and Japandi with exposed bricks and beige hues overtaking the color palate. Utilizing multiple glass display cases along with one on the side where you can pick the pastry without asking a worker, it mixes the combination of a Korean bakery self serve with the more traditional ordering you expect from a cafe. Everything looks curated and maximized for each item to look their best. Even if you don't eat it the visuals alone will make spectators envy you. The coffee was genuinely delicious. They specialize on The Einspänner, a classic Viennese coffee drink featuring a rich espresso base topped with a generous layer of sweetened whipped cream. Think of how modern coffee shops now use cold foam for lattes now. Einspänners taste best once you mix the sweetened whipped cream with the rest of the drink so it means it gets better with time. I tried the tiramisu and it was so good. I can't wait to try their others ones such as the pistachio and the mizuba einspänners. Overall, I really enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying all the vibes. The drinks were so delicious they seemed to be finished too quickly. It felt like the rest of the world melted away and just for the moment, I was existing without thoughts or worries inside a tranquil cafe with all the right feels. I look forward to returning back to Ced and trying a new item. Perhaps the next sip will take me back to nostalgic times. read more

We got this box for $40 at the chino hill farmer market on Wednesday. We waited under the sun for 30 minutes too FYI. I don't think it was worth the price though. They are good, but not the best I had. I am impressed by their bagel and I would buy their bagel again. For salt bread, I think Out of Ordi at Ktown is better. Both the strawberry milk and the matcha einspanner had way too much sugar, it was undrinkable and I threw half of it away. Been seeing this place all over social media so I just had to give it a try! The interior was so pretty and modern, the service was pretty quick too. The workers were nice and gave recommendations I ended up getting the strawberry matcha with the bear pastry topper. Honestly I was really disappointed with my order :( the matcha just tasted like milk and was also watered down. The bear pastry on the straw was insanely dry. It fell apart the second I bit into it. Delicious drinks in an aesthetic setting! I've never had a bad drink here. My last visit, I wanted a pistachio einspanner but with matcha instead of coffee, and the employee said she could make it for me. It was great. I just wish their banana matcha softserve were available here too instead of only at the other location. There's a good amount of seating here so it's good for working on your laptop. There are some spots with access to outlets. Chairs are all wooden though so it may not be super comfortable if planning to stay for a long time. read more

I've lost count of how many times I've walked past Céd Coffee & Donut. It's one of the most popular Korean cafés in the area. They're doing so well that they even opened a second spot inside Today's Plaza in Westminster! Every time I'd see the crowd and think "maybe next time," but since I was getting a haircut nearby, I finally went in to see what the hype was about. By dinnertime, it was pretty chill, just a few tables inside (about 5-6) and a cozy patio outside. The whole place has that warm, wooden, comfy café vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Since I came late, most of the good stuff was gone -- the famous donuts were completely sold out, and there was literally one last slice of cake left . On the bright side, their drink prices were surprisingly lower than most nearby Vietnamese cafés. I got a Matcha Latte ($6) and a Strawberry Mango Jasmine Tea ($5) , both were super refreshing and not overly sweet. Yes I will go out of my way to come to Ced every time. They have a rotating menu of specialty drinks as well as set menu items. You can find matcha tea and coffee drinks as well as an assortment of a variety of different pastries. I'm never disappointed. The coffee is consistent. The people are welcoming and friendly. They have a welcoming minimalist vibe inside and lots of seating. Definitely try their strawberry cream cakes! Ced is a coffee shop I always recommend to friends. read more

I stumbled upon this hidden gem right after closing time. Even though they were done for the day, the owner graciously welcomed us and made us the most delicious coffee. The coffee was just as wonderful as their hospitality. I especially loved the foam on top--it was incredibly soft and smooth. Acts of kindness like this are rare, and it completely made our day. I've been to Ced Coffee & Donut twice now and it's my new favorite spot. It's a little far for me, but I'm willing to make the drive just for the Tiramisu Einspanner. I took my husband and he ordered the iced vanilla latte. He liked it but when he tried my drink, he realized he messed up and should have ordered the same one I did. It's a dream in a cup. We tried both the ham and cheese croissant and the spinach and artichoke croissant. I preferred the ham and cheese mainly because the spinach and artichoke filling in the croissant is not hot throughout. There's a part in the middle that stay cool despite it being warmed up. If you ordered this one, see if they have warm it up longer. We also had the creme brûlée donut and it was delicious. The staff packages everything so nicely. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoy sitting outside because you have more room. The inside is small so it can feel chaotic when there's a lot of people in line. read more
