Besides the typical tourist attractions, the store offers great shirts, t-shirts, and a wide variety of clothes for both men and women. Me and my wife arrived at 10:30 and were browsing for 15 mins and we're gonna get some things and they turned off the music and pushed us out and locked the door over a hour before closing, they close at midnight. The employees at this store really need to be replaced if they can't even stay open until closing time and treat people badly. Will just continue to go to Alvin's and Surf Style since the employees there are nice. read more

Sunsations was just a normal souvenir store that you see on the side of the road. Had a good amount of selection for T-shirts, hats, bathing suits, snorkels, etc. The prices were about the same compared to other beach retail stores. In conclusion this place was exactly what I expected. Just average. read more

The front of the store says free beach bag, mug or box of taffy with a $20 purchase; however when you pay they say oh we ran out! To me that's false advertisement. They should give you something even if its a piece of candy. Also I choose a pair of pants and the tag said $9.99 and they rang up at $16.99 they said that that's the currency in which we bought in... no other tag was on the pants; another bait and switch. This seems like it's a local chain of stores for people to get fun souvenirs from their trip to Destin. They have typical sea shells and like glitter globes. Very cute bathing suits at a pretty low price and cute towels, but don't be fooled, they are quite thin. I went in there for fun colored sweatpants and I got seafoam green ones for 12 dollars. Also got those super cute beach shirt to cover up my too half at the beach and because of that they have me an adorable reusable bag that I can toss stuff inside if and not feel guilty about it getting sand in it and stuff. Obviously free advertising but the bag is cute and big, things that I like for beach bags. If I'm ever in the area again I would come back here for more cheap souvenirs and cute clothes. May go back specifically for beach coverups. read more

A worker keep asking if I was done trying on clothes when I got in there like 2 seconds after and while paying they were rude and judgmental! Oh one more thing you have to ask to use the dressing room and they ask how many items you have to try one. read more

Super rude! They pushed us out the door at 11:30 when they don't close until midnight! And it was a Saturday night! Their loss though I was going to buy alot of souvenirs there but I will take my $$ some where else. If you advertise you are open until midnight then you should stay open until midnight!!! read more

I wish I could give a place negative stars... not only is it way over priced (an item that was $3.99 at Alvin's Island, was $7.98 at sunsations) but the workers are also extremely rude. We pulled up 20 minutes before closing & asked the worker standing outside if they were still open and if we were able to run in and just grab a couple of things, one of the things we wanted we could see sitting right inside the store. The worker outside said yes we could come in because they didn't close until midnight. Once my mother, grandmother, and grandfather got in the store the women behind the counter told them to get out of the store by saying "hello, goodbye, were closed, get out" & that they wouldn't sell anything to them & that the women out front lied to them that they were allowed in. Its absolutely pitiful to treat someone with that amount of disrespect just because you can't do your job of staying until midnight & checking someone out. read more

Truly some of the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. Boyfriend had to exchange something and while we was going to grab another size I overheard the staff talking bad about him. Saying "he should've know his size" they were also annoyed that they had to make change when my friends total was 31 dollars and she handed them 40 they were truly upset she didn't have exact change complying by saying "I can't believe I have to do this" I'm blow away by how ride these people are. read more
