A good place to grab some forgotten items or a items that you have run out of during your stay like, sunglasses, sunscreen, or in my case forgotten flip flops. They also have decent memorabilia although it is cheap foreign made junk, it is the typical knick-knack stuff that most people buy for their neighbors, grandkids, etc., just to say they bought them something. I like the larger size of this particular store but there must be 20 of them between the entrance to Ocean City on Rt. 50 up to the Delaware line on Coastal Highway so you can take your pick. read more

I would also give them 0 stars due to the sales of hermit crabs as well as Anoles. This is cruel and inhumane and the people that come in and buy then have no clue how to properly take care of them. The service was horrible. They have a good selection, but we left because we didn't want our money to go to false advertisers. We saw a giant sign out front saying "Kids Tees! 1.99!" We went in and asked the cashier where the shirts were. She pointed in a random direction while talking to a friend, and we went to look. Then, when we went, there were only skateboards. So we asked again, and she pointed in a completely different direction. We checked there, and there were only hats. After five minutes of being annoyed, she comes up and says-"I talked to my boss, and he says we never had a sale." We left without buying anything. read more

I would give them zero stars if possible. They sell anoles in tiny plastic containers without heat lamps or adequate space to add foliage to climb on. These green anoles are native to south Florida and need heat, humidity, live insect food sources, and fresh water sources.The instructions they give you with purchase does not reflect any of the basic needs of this declining species. Enormous amount of merchandise. Plenty of souvenirs and other odds and ends. Forget sunblock? They have it covered. The bad side? Employees that hate thier jobs. I understand, its late, just before peak season but can you at least greet the customers? Is it too hard to ask if they found everything they are looking for? I hate that they sell the anoles, which aren't an impulse buy and require a lot of care and love, but when buying t-shirts for friends back home it's one of the only places that sells 2XL and up. Also, hardly any employees speak full English and are a bit creepy. read more

where do i start... well the staff is not polite and they are the opposite of helpful but that aside they have a few other pros and cons. well the clothing is actually hideous they have 80s like dresses and this isn't known as the place you go to get your Mackys Theme night apparel. But they also do have some great things too. They have recently started carrying simply southern one of my favorite brands and i am very happy about that and they also have other great Ocean City related trinkets. In conclusion i think if you r in OC it is definitely worth stopping by. (just steer clear of the dresses) read more

All of the horrible reviews from other yelpers are true. Sunsations has been selling cheap worthless and overpriced merchandise for many years. On my recent vacation to Ocean City a few weeks ago I took my kid to Sunsations to possibly buy them some cheap overpriced piece of crap that I could anticipate breaking within 24 hours and, to my horror, I discovered that they carry a plethora of confederate flag merchandise. That was enough for me to immediately exit the store. Shocked that they would carry such a wide variety of items that I assumed only a small number of ignorant hillbillies with poor dental hygiene would be dumb enough to wear with pride, I googled "Sunsations confederate flag merchandise" when I got back to my hotel. I found an article that was written over a year ago that mentioned the fact that they carry such ignorant and controversial merchandise. In the article Sunsations comments were brief and casual, downplaying the significance of what they were selling. They also stated that they didn't intend to continue selling confederate flag merchandise once it sold out. Well it has been a year since that article was written and based on what I saw during my very brief last visit inside Sunsations stores they not only decided to continue to sell confederate flag merchandise but they have entirely too much of it for me to ever consider stepping foot in another one of their stores ever again. People, let's separate fact from stupidity, the confederate flag doesn't symbolize the South, it symbolizes the South during a time when blacks were owned as property, and that is NOTHING to be proud of. read more

Typical souvenir shop. Ok prices for most things. Coupons are in all of the books around town. My daughter qualified to use one based on her purchase, but because I used a coupon they wouldn't let her use hers. They said one per family, but all of the signs said one per sale. So they wouldn't give her a cheap "beach bag" that was no beach bag at all, just a reusable bag that you could buy in any grocery store for a buck. Obviously they care more about being cheap and saving a buck rather than customer service. I was not impressed. Would not recommend based on the service. read more
