Awful service!!! We arrived at 4 PM on a Sunday and waited about an hour for a table. We ordered from the outside bar which took 30 minutes to get our drinks while we waited for our table. Once we finally sat at our table, there was ambiance as they had live music. The music progressively became very loud and the place became more of a night club. We ordered our food at 5:50 PM and around 7:50 PM we still did not have our food. Our waiter was nowhere to be found for close to an hour and a half. We had to find other waiters to help us get our food. Some plates of food did not arrive until 8:20 PM. Totally unacceptable. The taste of the food was nothing to rave about. The views are nice but not worth the upset of slow service.

Day 2 in Puerto Rico and were looking for food that complimented the country. This restaurant did just that. With an ocean view (doesn't smell fishy) some nice fresh air and a wide menu, my family and I enjoyed everything.

We were a group of 5 and ordered vegetable mofongo, shrimp mofongo, the pasta special of the day, an empanadillas, tostones, and a chicken burger with bacon and fries that looked like it came from a gastropub. It was so good, the birthday gal ordered 2 addl empanadillas to go for another meal at home! When Monique learned it was a birthday, she even brought out a beautiful complimentary flan, which she had made! Everything was delightful and delicious. And the prices are much more reasonable than many of the "tourist towns". Aguirre has a unique history and many historic buildings are scattered throughout the town. Stop for lunch or dinner and walk around and the nature trails and center are great (and free).

First time in this part of the island... came across this spot. First impressions matter... server…read moreextremely welcoming and hospitable. First appetizer... empanada de pulpo... generously filled with flavorful and tender octopus... main course... Dorado with a side of tostones de pana... delicious... additional side of white rice with beans phenomenal! Beans were smoky, ham and calabaza in the mix... Montaditos de jueyes... a home run. A must go to when in Aguirre!

The food was ok. I had the pulpo cóctel, which I had to remind the waitress about our order. For my entree I had the shrimp in garlic sauce and it was good. My girlfriend had the red snapper which she enjoyed.
