The owners are always courteous and knowledgeable. The store is located in the Grand Marketplace in Willingboro, and I'm never really out that way so when I go I have to make a special trip. The two of the last three times I've had to go they've had a sign up saying that they'd stepped out, but would return in 15 minutes. The first time I waited for a while, but ended up leaving. The last time I waited, and the owner returned within about 15 min. I definitely recommend it!

Luchi no longer owns the salon. Pretty much all of the girls like Luchi, Arelis, Bianca and etc all work at Serenity Salon at 1600 S. Broad Street. Serenity Salon is smaller, but the vibe is better and the prices are a whole lot better. When I'm in town, I'll always follow Arelis. It's just my take. I went there to…read moreget my hair dyed, get my ends clipped and to get my hair curled. upon arrival I let them know that I am severely allergic to PPD that's in the dye the first thing that the receptionist said was "it's still going to be the same price" I told her I didn't care about the price I just wanted to ensure that I didn't have an allergic reaction she offered me their organic dye I looked at the back of the ingredients and told her no thank you because I can't ensure that I won't have an allergic reaction. she claimed that she let the stylist know however whatever the stylist mixed the dye up with I still ended up having an allergic reaction my forhead has bumps on it my scalp is on fire from burning there is red sores throughout my head. I tried to wash my hair and put aloe oil on my scalp however this has been going on every since Friday 10/18 and today is 10/23 and I'm still experiencing burning and itching throughout my scalp.I spoke to an individual on 10/22/24 and let him know what happened and he said that's horrible he would inform the owner Ruth of what happened and because I had a bad experience see that I get my Money back. Well 10/23 I receive a phone call where that same receptionist is telling me that there is nothing that they will do because she did her job and told me that they couldn't guarantee the product will work. this is a dye that I always use and never had a reaction to. She said that "if I dye my hair on the regular than I will know that I have to use a peroxide developer " however if someone come in saying that they have an allergy to something before you decide to take the product in the back and start mixing things you should review the ingredients with the client instead of just mixing something together just because it says organic. I am a very understanding person and understand accidents happen but Not one time did her or the owner apologize for what happen not one time did they express any concern other than being in defense mode. This is very disheartening to know that I am experiencing a bad allergic reaction and the salon people that mixed my safe product with the product of their choice is showing no type of sympathy or providing any type of solution is very upsetting. They was better off acknowledging what happened apologizing and offering a solution and I would of been happy with that. I will now take progressive action.

They are notorious for following you around the store like you are a criminal…read more Aside from this, my latest experience there (today) I had my 4 year old son with me and as I was in line to check out he began crossing his legs dancing stating he had to use the potty really bad. I asked the lady behind the cash register if he could use their bathroom and she proceeded to say no the bathroom is not for the public. I said but he is dancing and is about to pee on himself would you rather him pee on your floor than in your bathroom!? The man who works there (assuming her son) proceeds to say no they cannot let him use the bathroom because it's in the stock room. Instead of offering to escort us to the bathroom and waiting there to ensure the security he was worried about they preferred to deny my son the human right and decency to use their bathroom. They turned my 4 year old son away because they decided to set up shop in a predominantly black town where they do not trust their main customers who puts food on THEIR table!!!!!! I gave them back the products I was buying and left! As we were leaving my son asks "Mommy why were those people mean to us? Why didn't they let me use their potty?" The way they treated us, especially my son was disgusting! I will NEVER shop here again!!!!

The store owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of products, and after seeing the dryness of my bleach blonde natural hair, she steered me toward affordable nourishing treatments and wig-care products instead of trying to sell me some expensive stuff that doesn't work.
