Tuna melt from cafe on site

Really great cafe available on site. The man working in the Cafe was a real gem. Have a conversation with him while he prepares your meal, you won't regret it.

What a great afternoon spent at Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood, California. Visiting this older studio was an enjoyable experience as we watched the taping of a new "Raven" Episode. We were given the vip treatment since my daughter in law works on the set. It took four hours to tape with many repeated takes until perfected. The actors were great as were the rest of the crew. It made for an enjoyable day and evening with family.

Easy to find with lots of street parking or garage parking near. Staff was super friendly and helpful guiding us to our waiting area before we entered into the Jim Jeffries show. Clean cool studio inside. Had a blast at the tapping of the show, so glad we drove out here on Tuesday.

This studio was amazing to attend, as well As having the wonderful opportunity to be a guest! I wish I could go back on the set, and venture around other studios! If I had the opportunity to go back, I definitely would!

Saw the filming of the Jim Jefferies show here. The staff was very nice and professional. The show was awesome. Jim is funny but also an informative comedian.

I'm going to see ridiculousness on June 15. I want to know if I'm allowed to bring a phone. Is there a place to check in my phone?

I followed the rules and left my phone in the car for my show's taping, there was no checking in any items. Many did not. They were cool about it until people started seeing the inch and taking a mile, taking the phone out for extended periods,…

Anyone know if I can bring my phone to the ridiculousness filming? I'm taking uber so I can't leave my phone there.

If you have tickets to any show here, most of the time they don't allowed phones in so security will have phone check-ins at a gate will your ID. If you're an paid audience member for SRO & others, you have to leave your phone at home or your car…

Working with Rene at Future Sound Studios was the best decision I made in 2018…read more The worst decision I made was using my drummer's boyfriend's studio. I had three great songs that I had written over the summer that I decided needed recording for my debut album. My drummer offered her bf's studio to record the band, which was cool at first. It ended up being a HUGE mistake--the drums sounded AWFUL recorded in his place. Small, tinny, behind-a-padded-wall sound. Out of sync totally. Not to mention his overall attitude was weird--it ended up being his session, not mine. I thought there was no hope for saving these records. And I still had yet to record my vocals. Luckily, we found Rene on Yelp. With his help, I was able to record my vocals and get the drums fixed to a T. Rene made my songs go from B-side 1960's crap small-studio sounding to 2019 sparkling, widescreen Katy Perry perfection. We also go the songs done relatively quickly. I was obviously a bit trepidatious going back into a studio after that last experience, but I shouldn't have been. Rene is very nice and personable, the opposite of what I experience so often in Hollywood. I felt comfortable in his studio the second I stepped foot inside. Rene and I are also on the same wavelength creatively--we both feel when a take is right and when it's not, when a song is hot and when it's not. He is very honest and will tell you the truth, which I appreciate. My favorite part of working with him is his sense of humor. I also respect how I requested no autotune on my voice and he actually listened--most other engineer/producers I've worked with laugh right in my face at that and never do it, they're too egotistical to ever let the singer make mistakes on their record. But he let me try it. Remember, as a mixer, masterer and engineer, his success is your success. He is a hard worker-I must have asked him for 40 files for TV and film placement purposes and he sent me every single one immediately. He is a walking plethora of musical knowledge. The actual room is small where I recorded, but it worked fine for me and my backup singer. If you really wanted to, you could cram a small choir in there, maybe a horn. Rene's studio is for overdubs, not bands. So, keep that in mind. Although he does have other rooms. Great, high-quality gear, too. Fantastic mics. Rene is awesome! I can't imagine going to anyone else to finish this album. Excited to work with him again. Would recommend! 10/10 ***check out edithviolette.com to hear the final product, will be out soon***

He is an amazingly talented composer, friendly, welcoming, accommodating and will even add ideas to boost your track. My songs got so much attention. I think because everyone loved the beat so much . I feel like I've got a few hits on my hand. All you have to do is give him an idea of what you like and he's gonna produce that no problem. The studio is also clean and fun. U will feel like a star here! I highly recommend him. OH and did I mention the man has SOOOUUULLLLLLLLLLL
