When I got home, the milk had leaked (through both paper sacks) and by the time I got it into the house I had milk all down the front of my shirt and pants, not to mention a trail of milk on the garage floor, trunk of my car, and sandals. I had to change or smell like soured milk the rest of the day, not to mention clean up the mess! Seriously? Please train your clerks to NOT repeat this with another customer! Crumbly (in the style of a continental breakfast biscuit at an off-ramp hotel). Dry. Flat. Crap. My disappointment is that the sandwich has been a staple for me. This one sucked. Service was fine. We threw it away but the next weekend we returned to do shopping we did let the store manager know after we checked the freezer again and found several items with the same issue. Today we arrived to see the freezer is looking wonderfully arranged, clearly someone had spent some time and done some real organizing here, but unfortunately, I went straight back to the product that I had complained about, and again so many expired! I understand being a week past the expiration date, even two or three weeks is honestly understandable, especially in frozen foods but a month, six months, a year or more no way.

Like all WFs, they have an exceptional prepared food area with lots of delicious mains and fixings. The one thing I'm not a fan of is the roasted chicken. I've bought dozens and they are always dry. Not sure what's up with that because everything else is really good. Bakery section has tempting treats, lots of grainy breads and even gluten free options. When I took this up to customer service to trade it for another lemon "Thomas" couldn't have behaved more bothered to have to assist me and needed to see my ID and wanted to receipt... For one lemon. Not out of the norm for this guy, as he always seems to have quite the attitude. Also having one checker, checking people out is ridiculous and you have to bag your own groceries. I am disabled, so this is incredibly difficult for me and I always have to do the self check out because the lines at the one working check stand are unbearably long. Sad really how far Fred Meyer has fallen. Do better Fred Meyer!
