I can't go to my local one due to the crowds. This is pretty straightforward with quite a few farm vendors. I was especially delighted with the farm selling apples because most of the offerings you cannot get in a store. I do get that the produce is top notch, however, you will definitely feel this in your wallet if you are on a budget. They do have a normal $20 for $40 deal for SNAP recipients (you take $20 on your SNAP card and receive $40 in tokens you can use for produce) BUT, there was a special deal for this week receiving $20 for only $1 on your SNAP card plus as senator was giving out an additional $25. Most of the vegetables I bought were 3 x the amount I would have paid at grocery store. Also there is the time to consider. I highly recommend a Farmers Market, especially this one, but if you are on a tight budget, I feel like you would want to spend your money more effectively. There were several very interesting looking vendors, including a person who makes lanterns out of old propane tanks. How fun! There were also two different hot food vendors - one with mini donuts and the other with tacos... seriously what else would you need??? The parking situation is good and bad. I was able to get a spot really close to the entrance but all the ADA spaces were taken. I just happened to arrive when someone up front was leaving. The entrance does have a little makeshift ramp but be patient, because it is how everyone goes in. So I found it awkward as people like to stand by entrances of things making it potentially challenging.

The lady told my father to pick from a certain bush which he misheard. We thought we were at the right bush because I had asked beforehand for my father and I. She continued to come over to us micromanaged us, and told us we exceed the picking limit which she stated was 10lbs but it was actually 20lbs (advertised on her price & details sign) and we were weighing in at 11lbs. So she made us feel like we picked too much grapes, on top of being shunned for not being in the correct spot which we apologized for several times. Because of her demeanor we ended up leaving after because she told us to take our business somewhere else. I thought this was a pretty rude introduction as this was our first time coming. I understand there was a misunderstanding on our part, just wish the circumstances were different and we were treated kinder and humane! Hoping people still go to this establishment for nice produce! They are taking precautions for COVID-19, so you cannot bring your own containers for U-pick. Instead, you pre-pay for a container they provide (I.e. quart, 1/2 flat), and then you fill it and leave (no weighing). 1/2 flat was $12.50 for raspberries, blueberries, and boysenberries. They ask everyone stay at least 6' apart. It has never been too crowded, so it is rather easy to maintain your distance and pick where you please. The fruit is delicious, and right now there are plenty of raspberries and blueberries!
