It has ramps everywhere giving chance to children all ages and all needs to have fun. It is big enough so kids can run around keeping the distance (you know.... COVID times) Not every kid can use a regular swing, it takes a lot of core strength to use one, so Meadow's playground has a couple of swings with full seat (see pictures, red swings ) This place is a hidden gem. There's also a covered picnic area in case it's raining or too sunny. Oh! And the best part: Plenty of parking spots!

The grass here is lush and soft, and would be perfect for a picnic! There's also an outlet to the Cedar River here, which is really pretty and nice to go check out if you have the time and interest. The playground itself is perfect for younger ones. They've got quite a bit to play on as well as swings for babies, which is what we're always in search of. There's a restroom on-site, which is nice. However I can't speak to it too much because we didn't use it. Free street parking available right in front of the park. Great place to bring the kiddos on a sunny day!

Specially because there're lots of signs saying "private property" or "do not park here" basically because you can park your car near this playgoeind AS LONG AS you don't block neighbors entrances nor the street. Preferably it's better to walk if you live close by. It has a small playground, picnic tables (covered and uncovered), benches to rest. A nice paved promenade for a stroller or tricycle. There are two separate swing sets, two for older kids and two for younger kids. My daughter had a blast exploring, though she spent most of her time on her favorite spot: the swings. If you are planning to visit and not handicap please use the "west" parking lot. Just a heads up there is a sign we saw after we had already been there for hours. When we came a family was having a birthday party in the gazebo. It looked like a great place to have a party. The place is fenced in and good for 2 year olds and up. Shade is great in the summer. At the lake you can sit and enjoy the view, go fishing or even kayaking. Lots of nature to hear and greenery to enjoy. You'll find everyone and anyone here. The toilet was overflowing and there was no contact information for maintenance anywhere. There were several honey buckets outside, so I guess this happens frequently(?). It was quite packed with a group hosting a private event and the courts were all full. We walked around the park with our toddler, and there were tons of random kinks on the ground. I even found a piece of broken glass that wasn't super far from where my daughter was... The lake was pretty though, and there were people fishing. I think it's less maintained than Bellevue parks...

It's not super big and the play structure isn't all that fantastic, but it has a huge sand play area which is really cool. I'm talking beach sand, not the gravel or bark that you find at most playgrounds, but real sand. However, it's the pump water faucet which flows into the sand that makes this park "whoa daddy, that's awesome!" Forget Alki, lets make sand castles in Kent! As mentioned in other reviews, it's a park that was put together in coordination with Disney so there is a bit of a theme to it. There are hidden Mickey Mouse's to find around the park and other "games" that are set up to try and find hidden objects. There are definitely some teaching and discovery tools set up around the play area. I'm pretty stoked Yelp discovered this park for us. According to my son, we will definitely be back.
