There's plenty of space to walk, even with a little mini trail in a cluster of trees near the playground. There's also a baseball field here, and sheltered seating perfect for eating lunch. The playground is awesome too. They've got equipment that's perfect for all ages - and they have baby swings! There's also a well-maintained basketball court here as well. Fabulous park. There's one road in and one road out with the Hyatt, the Bristol, Tra, Peyrassol, the Seattle Family Center, Dock and Drink, and Water's Table filling out the portfolio. It is very pleasant with Coulon Beach Park next door and excellent viewing of fireworks when that resumes. With the parking garage there's plenty of parking though I cannot stress more than ever do not leave any valuables in sight in your vehicle. Southport may be isolated, but that isn't a deterrent for thieves. Personally I'd recommend parking where there's foot traffic since the upper levels are vacant I've only seen smashed out windows at those levels. And it is a pleasant place! There is a lot of diversity at the waterfront and that makes it a wonderful place to be.
