If I lived closer, I would be here more often. A nice park if you are in the area. Playground is amazing and clean with two areas one for big kids and another for little ones. There are 4 swings as well. Last Monday Memorial Day, there weren't many people enjoying the park so it's quite peaceful and enjoyable. I could imagine it getting a lot more use in prime times. This is just such a find and is worth the drive. My kids enjoyed it, we will definitely be back. This 54-acre, former King County Park is a beautiful addition to the City of Tukwila's park system. It was acquired in January of 2003  in partnership with Starfire Sports. The largest park in Tukwila. Considered the "go-to" park for many locals and families. Fort Dent offers many amenities, including two kiddo-approved play areas, soccer fields, picnic area, restrooms, hiking trails and open areas. The Fort Dent Bridge in another fun spot for families and a great place for photos. The park also hosts several sporting events throughout the year, including soccer, rugby, and ultimate frisbee matches.

My 2&4 year old love this place :)

This park is one of my kid's favorite. The location is away from the street so it's kinda quiet, and they have lots of fun stuff for kids to play with. I love that they have 2 separate play areas depend on kids age. Smaller one is perfect for young toddlers. And, bonus point is that they have the duck pond behind and you can bring bread or something to feed the ducks. Ducks will come close to you to get food! You can also see airplanes and helicopters flying by, trains will goes by right in front of you, and sometimes you get to see people practicing soccer(the play ground area is surrounded by soccer fields)....so yes very entertaining place. Also they have bathroom, which is always clean :)

Two awesome play areas, duck pond in the back.

When I'm in the area and need to pass some time with the kids, this is where I go. I found this spot on accident one day with my daughter and it was awesome. You go over a little bridge and there is giant huge fields that look like soccer is mostly played there, they have an indoor recreational area as well. Once you drive down farther you notice a well kept playground and a tennis area behind and parking is everywhere. The playground is really nice and has two big areas to play on with a bunch of different slides with swings as well and some teeter totter toys. There is also a huge pond with lots of different ducks to feed. There is even more fields it looks like up from the playground passed the clean public restrooms. My kids love coming here to play, its big, clean and open and there is never really a lot of people there so the kids have plenty of options to choose to play on. The occasional eagle flying around is a nice treat and when the train comes by, my son loves when that happens. This is a really nice place to take the family to hang out and have some fun.

Nice park with shade and pond. Helpful Exercise stations but slide and seesaw broken. Decent bathrooms but no soap.

Paying to park just to get into Fort Dent/ Starfire is not ideal for a 1 hour trip. $7 to park. Decided not to go.

Great park. My only negative is since its within Starfire - there's a lot of people and barely any parking.

Review Highlights - Fort Dent Park

It's located inside Starfire Sports where all the soccer fields are so there were a lot of soccer kids playing at the playground when we went Sunday around 1:30pm.

I love this little park! They have an infant swing and newer play toy. A few benches to sit on and…read moresome tables. Only part I don't like is sometimes so much trash all over the tables and bark! Street parking.

Chelsea Park was my neighborhood park growing up. I've been there probably 100+ times…read more I've played organized and recreational sports there, participated in day camp there, and did about a dozen other things there during my childhood. It's a nice neighborhood park tucked away just off Ambaum and 136th. The park is basically divided into two sections, the playground area which is on top of a little hill and the field, which is down below. The playground area was renovated within the last 10-15 years and has a nice playground and walkway area up above. I don't know if it's due to the location, off Ambaum and 136th/near the (formerly called Seahurst Village Apartments) or what, but I don't see too many kids there playing. The field down below has a small baseball/softball field that is well-kept because it's used for little league baseball/softball and Kennedy Catholics softball team as well. The field isn't by enough for high schoolers (90 ft base paths and 60 ft mound), nor can it accommodate power hitters (due to houses relatively close down the right field line and a moderately short left field. Basically, If you're looking to play baseball you're better off going to Sunset Fields or Moshier Fields - you'll have more real estate there. The open field/grassy area is though good for pickup games of football, soccer, ultimate frisbee, etc. as well as catch and just general running. Often, at night - just before sunset ("after work") you may often find members of Burien's Hispanic community playing recreational soccer there - so if you're someone who had the itch to play, and doesn't play organized soccer or can't find people to play with, then it may be worth dropping by one night to see if people are playing. All-in-all, Chelsea Park is a fairly nice neighborhood park in the Burien-area that provides a variety of different opportunities for playtime and/or rec-athletics
