You would think that because I was one hour early they would fit me in as soon as my appointment time came, right?! So at 4:10 (ten minutes past my appointment time) there was no one coming to get me so I asked the front desk lady if she was going to tell Someone to call me and she said "Oh they are just cleaning the room" well, at 4:25 I said what are you guys doing to that room lol ... so she asked my once more what my name was and it is now 4:30, And the lady who was probably just gossiping in the back of the clinic came rushing to ask Me if I was ready! Are YOU K I D D I N G me? This place will never get my Business again! This was an important appointment because it was a follow up To a procedure they did 4 weeks or 6 weeks ago! Well, don't come to this place because guess what, they don't care about your teeth health or well being, just your money and how much your insurance can be squeezed out! SHAMEFUL unprofessional behavior! I would give them Zero stars!!!!

I really do not like going to the dentist, but this office always makes it a comfortable experience from the front desk staff all the way to both of the doctors. Unethical practices, hidden schemes, and discrimination based on diagnosis! We booked an appointment…read moreat All Children's Dentistry with one specific goal: to safely remove two very loose front baby teeth for my son. Instead of addressing our primary concern, the clinic rushed to perform a dental X-ray and a professional cleaning, charging us $185 up front. They clearly knew our child's diagnosis from the paperwork beforehand, yet they deliberately chose to run these expensive procedures first, knowing they had no intention of extracting the teeth afterward. My son has autism, but he is incredibly calm and cooperative. He proved this by sitting perfectly still and following all instructions during both the X-ray and the lengthy cleaning. The dentist wasn't even in the room to witness his perfect behavior! She walked in only after the procedures were completed, glanced at his diagnosis, and immediately claimed it was "unsafe" to proceed without IV sedation (general anesthesia). To make matters worse, when we refused unnecessary general anesthesia for teeth that are already hanging by a thread, the doctor told us we could just go home and extract them ourselves! Suggesting that a parent perform a dental extraction at home because the clinic refuses to do their job is a shocking violation of medical safety and professional ethics. This clinic pocketed our $185 for auxiliary services, left my child with his painful problem, and completely wasted our time.

Upon entering, your child will have a play area to the right that is always streaming Disney movies. Further back are individual examination chairs and rooms. Bright colors and calm environment that is an immediate stress reducer for apprehensive children (and parents). Dr. Makrum has excellent bedside manner, speaks to the children in a relatable manner, while being very gentle and calm as she explains what she is going to do. Our daughter loves going to see her and always asks when her next appointment is. Recently, our daughter chipped her tooth while playing on the playground. It was a Saturday and the practice was closed but we left a message on the emergency line. Within minutes, Dr. Makrum was calling, asking what happened, having us text photos and then recommended a course of treatment at an emergency dentist. She stayed in contact until the tooth was repaired and then had us come in the following week to inspect the work. You won't find a better pediatric dentist!!

It's harder to get…read moreappointments right away now than when my kids started here 4 years ago, so Dr. Mackram isn't popular in Westchase. However, getting in and out during appointments is still a breeze. We've never waited more than 5 minutes past their appointment time and I've never waited over 30 minutes for the appointment to be over. We used to go to an extremely popular pediatric dentist in Palm Harbor where the waiting room would be packed, we waited at least an hour past our appointment time and you couldn't leave without a high pressured up sell. Not at pediatric dentistry of westchase...in and out, no pressure and great service. The office staff is extremely friendly, there are plenty of up to date periodicals to read in the waiting room and the facility is always clean. Highly recommended.

This was my daughter's 3rd cleaning at No Sugar Bugs Club, and unfortunately, our experience with…read moreChristopher Chung was unacceptable. I initially tried to give this office a fair chance despite noticing during our first two visits that he seemed impatient with my (now) 4-year-old. But after what happened this morning, I cannot stay silent. I genuinely wish I had checked the real Yelp reviews instead of relying on the reviews on their website, because those website reviews can be bought, and they do not reflect what actually happens here. The Yelp reviews describe exactly what we experienced today. My daughter is only 4. She was doing much better this time than last time, still a little nervous and fidgety, which is completely normal for a child her age. When Christopher Chung walked into the room, he was immediately rude and impatient. My daughter accidentally kicked his leg while crying from fear. Instead of responding with care or understanding, he said, "I would appreciate it if you do not kick me," and then added that he "just had surgery" and couldn't look at her mouth with her "acting that way." She wasn't acting out, she was scared. He showed no compassion, no patience, and absolutely no child-appropriate bedside manner, which is shocking considering he works with children every single day. At that point, I stood up, told him we were leaving due to how he was treating my daughter, and requested corporate contact information. While I know there may not be much more I can do formally, I will warn other parents. Your children deserve a dentist who is gentle, patient, and genuinely good with kids, not someone who gets irritated by normal child behavior. Also, the responses this office leaves under their negative reviews on their website are extremely misleading. When multiple parents share the same exact concerns about the same dentist, that is not a coincidence, it's a pattern. For the office to reply claiming he is "the best" and that children "love him" is honestly absurd. To the office: I do not care for a scripted or dismissive reply under this review. My responsibility as a parent is to warn others before bringing their child here. And no, Christopher Chung (I will not refer to him as a doctor) is absolutely not the best dentist. From my experience and others, he is the worst. These are children he is dealing with. If he cannot be patient, compassionate, or gentle, then he should work with adults or reconsider practicing altogether. To PARENTS/CAREGIVERS/GUARDIANS: Please read the Yelp reviews and other review resources before taking your child here. It's unfortunate, but the only thing we can do as parents is to spread the word, so other families do not have to go through such experience.

When the Dr did the exam I was given a long list of work he said my child would need along with being completely sedated. My gut was telling me to get a second opinion. The second and third.opinions I got both said this was an aggressive amount of unnecessary work. My child is now on a healthy plan at another dentistry and I'm just thankful I listened to my mother's intuition and spared my child all that agony.
