They have a lit area under the trees for cocktail hour and the reception took place inside the barn. It's everything you'd want in a barn wedding, wood details, barn doors, antique furniture. They have a bridal suite upstairs in the barn and a separate grooms house a little bit of a ways from the barn. It's a little bit out there in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the drive!

It was a early morning walk so no one had disturbed them yet. The room i stayed in had 4 twin size beds, a small kitchen area and one bathroom. There was a few rockers on the front porch and a fire pit with more seating not too far away. We spent most of the day in a community room with full kitchen, bathrooms and a bar area. It was a great space for our group. Lots of parking outside and lots of things to do outside as well. The place was clean and welcoming. There were several houses that you can rent as well, instead of having twin sized beds. Beautiful place!

And the good thing about the venue change?! Those who saw the first place didn't like it to begin with, saying this place was waaaaaaaayyy better. TIP: This venue only provides the venue. First, this is not an all-inclusive venue. Many items are charged separately, including linens, use of the TV, AV equipment, and even certain rooms like the back room. These additional costs can add up quickly, so I recommend asking for a full breakdown of fees in advance. I also want to mention the policy regarding security officers. When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Overall, the space itself is nice, but I strongly recommend getting clear, written confirmation of all fees, policies, and requirements before booking to avoid surprises.
