Excellent sites! Not sure why Yelp ninjas this park at 2.8 stars, but it deserves 4 or 5! Very clean, concrete sites with grass on all sides. Very wide and large. There is plenty of room between campers and we never felt closed in. Very happy with our two night stay. They have activities as well. read more

Sunset Ridge has some really nice and large concrete sites to park your rig, vehicles, boats, and everything else you might bring along. The concrete streets are wider than average and make backing into your site a breeze. The grass around the sites is unbelievably lush and apparently watered by an underground seepage system that keeps the grass in good health. The grounds are maintained on a daily basis to keep everything trimmed to perfection. These are the highlights of our findings during our 9 week stay: - The pool is heated and hot tub worked most of our stay. It was still broken when we left. - The office/clubhouse is perpetually "coming soon", although they have no construction plans currently to build one. The office is located inside of a shipping container. - They sometimes erect a tent for gatherings, but stated they get destroyed by high winds on a regular basis. - They held potluck dinners in the fitness room during our stay, due to lack of any other facilities. - We were warned of past thefts when we arrived. Two thefts occurred on separate occasions during our stay and the "resort" sent out text messages to residents with tips from the local police department. - Stray dogs regularly roam the grounds. - There is no street lighting and building exterior lighting is off during most of the dark hours. Flashlights or headlamps are advised after dark. - Lawn maintenance is a constant irritant at the sites. It happens 6 days of the week, with 3-5 days that they would come through our site EACH WEEK. - The building is surrounded by SANDBURS. We picked them out of our shoes on a daily basis. - The air often smelled like sewer gas, most likely due to the nearby tidal basin. - Showers/restrooms are cleaned once a week, according to the manager. Daily would be more appropriate. - The high-speed internet located at each site was good. However, they don't provide a Wi-Fi Hotspot for use when away from your site (e.g. in fitness room). - They say Corpus Christi is the windiest city in the United States. We no longer doubt that statement. - While it is promoted as a "resort", it felt more like an RV park by the end of our stay there. Many "resort" amenities are perpetually "coming soon". read more

We have stayed one to two months at a time in countless Rv parks over the last twenty years in this area. Sunset Ridge Rv Resort is the nicest park we have used. The gated community makes me feel safe. The staff and my neighbors are all so kind and accommodating. The pads are huge with enough room for multiple vehicles or lawn furniture. The grass is lush, no grass burs. The office staff have been very nice and helpful. The pool is big and has floats for the kids to use. The fitness center is equipped with cardio and weights. The restroom/showers are very up to date and clean. The laundry room is clean and functional. They also have a gated boat ramp and marina for our use. This park was very thought out with concrete where the sewage hoses connect to the ground so grass or weeds to grow there. They provide internet, not wifi but your own internet. I have never gotten that at any other park. I cannot say enough about this park and staff. read more

This place is a mess. The management here acts like "professionalism" is a foreign language. An employee spoke to me in a completely disrespectful way, and when my husband stepped in to support me because the situation had already been mishandled. The management's response was not to fix the issue, not to address their staff's behavior, but to send us a three-day notice to vacate. In my view, it was a petty, retaliatory move that shows exactly what kind of operation they run here. And they couldn't even get the dates right. Sloppy, careless, and embarrassing. You'd expect people with more years in the industry to show integrity, respect, and some level of competence, but this experience makes it painfully clear why they're still working in an RV park instead of leading anything bigger. We have an emergency and needed to cancel our 2 night stay. I called to cancel 3 weeks in advance and was told they are going to charge us a full 1 night stay of $85.00!! I can see a small deposit but to rip us off of that much is absolutely ridiculous will never stay here or recommend these thieves!! read more
