We returned home April 1 and I was able to share the shirts with my daughter, who lives 3 hours away from me, on April 8th. She washed them before the kids even wore them, and the photos show what happened to one of them, before it was even worn! I contacted Surf Style on April 11th about the problem, provided photos and the receipt, with an answer that they don't refund after 30 days... a difference of 2 days between purchase and my contacting them. We were in Madeira Beach for 5 weeks and couldn't even get home to share the shirts and find out one was faulty within that time frame. I have shopped there for 17 years but unfortunately I will not spend money there again because they care nothing about customer service or goodwill. Too many other good places to shop in the area to give money to that business again. Think about it before you shop there as well.

I found Famous Footwear in Largo Mall. They have the high top gym shoes that I need to protect me from high ankle roll. I bought an usable cotton cloth shoe and try out in the gym. But after few games of badminton, I feel paint at the toe. I took the shoes I bought that day and return on the following week when I return to the gym. They clerk of the store allow me to exchange. They are very friendly and helpful. I got the next exchange pair that fit me. Now I put this pair in the car for emergency.

With newfound enthusiasm I wandered into the sandal section only to find Teva flip-flops on sale...WHAT A HELLUVA SHOPPING DAY! New running shoes and must have beach footwear ~ it just don't get any better than that!
