I found this cute little salon by way of Craigslist. I was looking for a reasonable tanning salon and this location advertised one free visit. What a great way to try something without a commitment! The shop was clean, the owner was super friendly and the conversation was great. She was working on a hair cut/color, but did not hesitate to welcome me and talk to me as she was working. I told her about seeing the craigslist ad, and she told me about the beds, then let me go in to try one out. She has one stand up, and several lay down beds. I chose the stand up bed and it was great, it was not as hot as others I have tried. She has several specials going for tanning and also hair services. Her prices beat out the competition hands down. This is a great tanning shop, and I would not hesitate to have hair services, I can tell she cares about her clients! read more

I've been going to Patty for at least 6 years and she always gives me a great cut! She listens to what I want and I've never been disappointed. She's friendly and personable too. I don't use them, but a lot of people come in to use the tanning booths, so I guess that's a good thing. I had a difficulty finding a hair stylist who can handle Asian hair with coarse, thick hair for many years in local area ( I do Japanese chemical straining for many years.) and had to go to Bay Area for Asian hair stylist who knows about my hair well. A couple of time I went to different hair stylists in local whom my friends recommended but every time ending up huge disappointment. I assumed that only Asian hair stylists know Asian hair better according my experience, but I was tired of long drive to get hair cut done in Bay area and decided to give new stylist a try. I called Patty, who does very nice job on some of my co-workers' hair. Even so, I tried not to expect too much because I didn't want another disappointment, but boy! Patty became the first hair stylist, who is not Asian, handled my difficult hair beautifully!!! I was shocked. And price is very reasonable! I already went to her three times now for hair color and cut and every time I go home very happy. (^-^) She listens to what you want and you will get what you want :) She's fun and has skills. Not thrilled with the rushed haircut at all. I will NEVER go back here. Nothing like explaining in detail what you want, and having the stylist do the opposite. Plus its expensive.
