Captain Andy and First Mate Chloie greeted us warmly and introduced the other cruisers. Guests can sit on padded benches in the aft, two "princess seats" offering excellent views, and on the front deck. Chloie offered us bottled water and cans of La Croix. People can bring their own adult beverages. Below deck is a surprisingly roomy head/bathroom. All of us joined in a wide-ranging discussion of history, travel, family history, South Haven, a few corny jokes and the lake. Best part by far was an amazing sunset! So, of course we can't use the golf cart rental. South Haven is full of tourists, all golf carts are reserved, there is no way this golf cart would not be rented sometime during the weekend. They refused to refund our money, so we're out over 300.00 for three days of cart rental. I have owned a business...I would never treat a customer like that. This just shows you what kind of owners this business has. Go somewhere else where they'll treat your fairly.

Sends driver out, all good, except the AC was not working on a 90 degree day, until about 15 minutes into the 20 minute ride. All good, everyone survived. Arriving at the restaurant, the young woman driving pulls out a Credit card reader and quotes triple the price, and tells me she will only get paid on tips. Fortunately I had both ( owner and brokered agent) numbers. called them both--got yelled at by the broker, repeatedly thrashing me, and telling me she had us down for 12 drivers, attempting to add another 50% onto the fee. I felt like an ass arguing in front of clients, but was forced to square up with this woman, adding almost $200 to the original price to ensure that I would not get stranded, 20 miles away from our resort. Tough to find the silver lining in this one.
