I've worked in child care and would be considered a paranoid parent and nothing here has ever been considered a red flag for me. Preschool staff are supposed to be trained in being a primary reporter for children's well being, it was shocking that they would so casually make an accusation of this nature and raised enormous red flags as to the type of employee culture of this preschool.

There was one little hiccup with the billing, but they were quick to notify me about it and were happy with me resolving the issue at my convenience. My son loves the huge outdoor area that provides all sorts of entertainment from tricycles to things to climb or swing on. He also comes home talking about all the stuff he did that day or all the stuff he learned. I've never had him come home whining about having a bad experience here (unless he was misbehaving). When there is an incident, they make sure to create a physical note for the parents that describe what happened - great for when your kids don't want to tell you exactly how they got that giant scrape on their knee.

I observed children spending time without meaningful activities or interaction, while some staff were on their phones rather than actively engaging with the children. I also witnessed situations where children were left without direct supervision when a teacher left the classroom. I have concerns about outdoor supervision as well. I also observed issues with communication regarding accidents and supplies that children needed. Parents deserve to be promptly informed when their child has an accident or needs diapers, wipes, or other supplies. Please ask questions, visit the center, observe the classrooms, and make sure you feel comfortable with the supervision and care your children will receive before enrolling them.
