Once they showed up an hour and a half late, another time did not show up at all. Always overcharged me , once charging $55 for a ride

At 1am and after the Airline left us stranded , Sunshine Cab co was there for us when no one else was. The driver, I believe his name was John was kind, courteous and caring, even took us to a late nite drive thru, and then going out of his way to make sure we were picked up the next morning-on time, insuring we were back to the airport so we would make our early morning flight. Don't bother calling anyone else you won't find a better company. Thank you Sunshine cab co you are an angel assisting those in need and great conversation while in Roswell, NM. I cannot recommend Sunshine, and John, specifically, enough. When our RV broke down outside Carlsbad, we call Sunshine to help. John arrived earlier than promised and drove myself and my three kids off a busy highway to safety. The van was spacious, clean, and cool. John was friendly and a full of local knowledge. We asked him to take us to Carlsbad Caverns to make our reservation while my husband waited for the tow truck. However, when we made it to the Caverns, John noticed there was no reception so rather than risk leaving us stranded, he waited and was there to take us to a hotel. He also went back for my husband and helped him load an RV full of gear into his van to transport to the hotel. We honestly felt like John was a part of our family that day and we are grateful not only for his impeccable and professional service, but also his sound judgment and care. read more

Very disappointed. It was recommended to me to use this service versus Lyft to go to the airport. I called the evening before to set up a pickup at 9:30am the next day. At 9:35am I called and was assured they would call me back with update. They didn't. I called at 9:45am and was told they were on the way. Received a call at 9:50, that someone else was coming. Thirty minutes late, and the owner who picked me up offered no explanation. Only thing he said was how will I pay, without ever apologizing for the delay. Barely made my flight, and yet they received their full fare. Stay away if you are on a schedule. It would be a rating of 0, if I had not made my flight. read more

What kind of cab service can't get you a cab within 20 minutes? I've called twice and been told it would be 30 to 45 minutes for a cab at least. One time was at 5:45 pm the other easy 6:40 am. Do you only have two cab drivers available? I don't get it. There wasn't any cars available or I would have rented a car. read more

No show, scheduled for pick up to airport for early flight , no cab, after repeating details several times the eve before when booking. Have used this service many times over the years, very disappointed, nearly missed flight. Be aware if you fly early, they don't answer phones and there is no answering service. Not a good way to operate a cab service I should think!!!! read more

Very good experience with Sunshine Cab on a ride from the Roswell Airport to a family event in town. The driver, Nick, was friendly, professional & helpful with information regarding the town. When requesting the ride from the airport phone, he was courteous & prompt with pick-up information & timing (just 15 minutes as he was finishing up another fare). Renee was an excellent driver! She picked me up from the airport in a timely manner and knew her way around very well. I had previously 2 five star rides with this company but now my impression has been shattered. I had a free shuttle with my colleagues scheduled departing at night. Having the opportunity to catch an late afternoon flight out of Roswell alternatively I found on Sunshine's website that a cab ride from Roswell airport to my destination was 79.99$. I called them to check whether it would be available also to Roswell and the lady who answered the phone said they don't have any drivers in town. She called me back a few minutes later and said one driver is coming back from out of town and will be passing my location and I could get a ride at 2:30pm. The driver called me 5 min later and said it will be between 2:45-2:50pm. Not only that he did not show until 3:10pm but there was already one occupant in the cab. I asked whether we are sharing the fare and he said no I habe to pay full price and cash as his credit card machine is not working. This is not good business practise. It's not airport shuttle but a cab. They should have asked me whether this is ok with me or at least told me when I was making my decision. He also tried to raise the price by another 5$. If I could give this company a ZERO, I would. ONE star is being FAR too generous. After spending 4 hours at the airport with our 4 year old and 7 year old autistic child who has a service dog, our flight was cancelled (due to bad weather) and we had to call a cab to get transportation to a hotel. No rental cars were available. The "man" (if I could even give him that much credit) who drove the cab, was the rudest human being on the face of the planet. He yelled at us to "get that dog off the seats" as we were just trying to load up our children. And when we were getting out of the car, my 4 year old accidentally bumped into him, to which he replied "what the f*^k?!" and then said "oh sorry...I probably shouldn't have said that". THE WORST experience I've EVER had in a customer service situation. He was in his late 40s, early 50s and sounded to have a New York accent. Save yourself a bad experience and go with the only other cab service in town.....Howard's Cab Company. This man is a TRUE GEM and MUCH cheaper. $22 compared to $37 from the Comfort Suites to the airport. read more

My partner and I were in town last week to take a break from the Denver snow, and to see some aliens. We were fortunate enough to get Trudy during our first night there. She drove us around three of the four nights we were there, and what a treat. She was kind, had great stories to tell, and gave us wonderful local suggestions. Even though they're pretty much the only cab in town, they treat their customers very well. If you call, and it's during the evening/night, ask for her. You won't be disappointed. read more
