Not only are they unfailingly kind and patient, their team is deeply compassionate. As a worrier, I was incredibly anxious to leave my baby for the first time, but they were honest and forthright about their extensive safety measures and fastidious cleaning. And on the first (very emotionally charged day: for me, my daughter was thrilled to meet new people), they were more than understanding and encouraged me to stay as long as I needed. As a family, a parent (or grandparent, guardian, etc) contributes time on one school day a month in your child's classroom and devotes at least two hours of time to the annual May Fair fund raiser. The result is a great family vibe that is a socially nurturing environment within a solid academic curriculum. My oldest (the only one in elementary school at this point) was super well-prepared, socially and academically, to enter kindergarten. Impressive for a half-day program. The session is chock full of good learning for these kids. I have my second child finishing up the four year old program here in May and my youngest entering the three year old program in the fall. I almost wish that I had more children just so I could hang out here more than the two years I have ahead. Yeah...I love it that much.

My father in law recommended checking out Little Red Hen b/c he went there 50 years ago! We visited a few different preschools and thought they felt chaotic. As soon as (literally) we stepped inside LRH, we knew we needed to look no further! We've been attending ever since and couldn't be happier with every single aspect of that school. I'd say their only downfall is that they don't teach past kindergarten...and that's just selfish :-) We're just happy that once our son has moved on to elementary school, we still get three more years there with our daughter!
