Back side windows I got darkest possible. Front side windows I got lightest possible. My only disappointment is that I was hoping my Tesla would be cooler with the tinting after sitting in the sun, but I took before and after screenshots of temperatures inside and outside of vehicle where vehicle was outside in full sun and half sun and compared them and did not see a difference in temperatures before and after tinting. It is possible the vehicle is heating up slower because of the tinting and may help while driving, but if so it is not enough that I could tell.

I was waiting to get it tinted because I have a baby and he doesn't like the sun in his face. They recommended what tint I should get and I also got to add some input of what I wanted. He was getting $150 per day for storage so made an extra $1000 by doing that. He charged the insurance company another $1500 or so to determine its condition and then left it partially disassembled in my driveway. Its damage was minor and so I was easily able to reregister it after a few repairs. I would certainly NEVER return to that business for any work of any sort.

I stopped by the shop to ask if they could help, and they told me to stop in any time. I showed up the next morning and Juan spent over a half-hour re-installing and sealing the sensor- got it working like new. When I asked where to pay, he told me no charge and he'll see me when I need something else taken care of. And then I did. A few weeks later I was driving in a major rain storm and water started streaming in from the top of the windshield. I brought the van in and Juan quickly identified the issue. I was expecting to pay several hundred dollars to remove and re-install the windshield, but he was able to re-seal without removing the glass - the bill was less than half what I was expecting. This shop does quality work and will do the right thing for their customers. They deserve to be on your list of go-to service providers!!

I always get my vehicles detailed every six months, but decided this time to have a ceramic coating put on my car. This can be expensive and if not done correctly not live up to its billing. So while researching a place to have this done I came across Sunshine Auto Spa in Santa Barbara. I spoke to David over the phone then met him in person at the shop. I was really impressed with the location and got to observe his team applying a ceramic coat to a car. David was able to explain how it worked what it was and then how to care for it once it was applied. The product used is Ceramic Pro and when it was applied to my vehicle I have to say the wet gloss look was incredible. This took a day and a half, but it was worth the wait and David explained this needs to be done correct so it takes time. His team was professional and the added detail they did was just fantastic. If you are looking good service, a good product and great investment then give Sunshine Auto a call. David told me, "Wax Is Dead" get a ceramic coating! The one on my vehicle is the Bronze package. Vehicle is a 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback XSE, purchased in 2018. Color is pearl Blizzard white. read more

Short review: Did a very good job, in the expected time. Great to work with, prompt & thorough communications. Will use them again. Highly recommended. Details: David and his team applied a ceramic coating on my new Tesla M3. Paint correction took longer than expected since the factory paint showed a lot of swirls, but he still finished the job on the time. Looks fantastic. David carefully explained how I should care for the coating to maintain its appearance and protection, and to preserve the warranty. He even showed me different microfiber towels, and which type I should use on the coating. When I started this process, I sent requests for quotes & info to several detailers. David promptly replied with information on the Ceramic Pro products & costs for each option - very thorough. The local Tesla dealership recommended a different shop when I asked about a ceramic coating; when I questioned that shop about the process & products they would use, they admitted they send cars to David for ceramic coating. read more

I am the single owner of a 1997 BMW 328i, which is in perfect condition mechanically and has just 103,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, It had some unattractive oxidation on the hood and the tan leather seats were dirty. Everyone told me the oxidation was hopeless until someone told me about Sunshine Auto Spa & Detail. I dealt with David Chavez, who was polite and accommodating. I was thoroughly pleased with the job they did at Sunshine; the car now looks shiny & practically brand new (even the engine). Sunshine took a little longer to finish than they quoted because they are so busy, but they threw in an excellent wash so I asked them to add a wax as well. I am absolutely amazed at the end result. I will post a photo when my computer stops acting up. After Sunshine worked on my BMW, I asked them to fix scrapes on some of the wheels and a scratch on my 2016 VW GTI. Again, Sunshine (and David) did a great job, With the wash & wax, it looks new again. I would definitely recommend them. read more

This place is fantastic. I had to sell my car in a hurry, and knew it needed detailing first. I brought it in at 2 in the afternoon, and the owner, David, reassured me that he could do the job, including detailing the engine and conditioning the leather seats. When told him I needed to sell it the next day, he promised to have it done by the end of day. He and his crew stayed after closing to finish my car, and then delivered it back to my house. When I walked into the driveway, I was flabbergasted at how pristine it was. Other reviewers here have said that David returns their cars looking better than factory new. That's not an overstatement. I could not believe how shiny it was, down to the smallest detail. Because of Sunshine's work, I was able to sell my car for *more* than I was initially asking. I had work done at a local body shop after a hit and run. Somehow they body shop managed to stain my black leather interrior with a white cleaning product, which left a milky film throughout the inside also leaving a white spray in the Bose speakers, air vents and caked on the dash knobs and dials. The white was a caked on stain and I could not easily remove it. They sent me to Dave at Sunshine Detailing. Dave was very easy to communicate with. He was calm, reassuring and helpful. After speaking with him I felt hope for that my car could be restored to it's original condition. He worked well with the body shop who was responsible for the cost and the did the work in a little over one day. My car looked great! I recommend them, Dave he has a great team. read more

After using five mobile car wash companies with marginal satisfaction I was connected to Sunshine Mobile Detailing. I was skeptical at first with what I thought was a gimmick "steam cleaning" of a vehicle. After David explained the process in a logical manner I opted to give it a try. I was hesitant at first for the cost was more than I was used to paying. But when I saw the finished work it was far superior and well worth the extra cost. The steam cleaning & wax leaves the finish glistening with a extra bonus that the cars stay cleaner longer thus eliminating frequent cleanings. I took my grandchild camping in my Mercedes sedan. When we returned, it was overwhelmingly dirty, inside and out. Upon a recommendation from a friend who is in the Auto Body repair and refinishing business, I took my Mercedes to Sunshine Detailing. I just purchased a brand new 370Z. She is black on black. Her name is Naomi (Campbell). She is a supermodel. She is my baby. I took her for a walk in appointment with Sunshine. I wanted to have her waxed and cleaned. My current place has outdoor parking only so she was getting a little dusty. The guys told me that she would be ready by 3pm and that they would text me when she was done. When I arrived at 3, she looked like she had just arrived from the factory! David took my filthy Tesla and returned it like it was brand new! He convinced me to get the ceramic coating, which admittedly is pricey, and I'm glad I did it. Now the paint is protected from environmental assaults like sap and bird poop and will be easier to keep clean. I was nervous to let him take my car to his shop but he seemed reputable and the reviews were good so I trusted him. He lived up to his word and returned the car when he said he would and every part of the car, inside and out, was spotless. I will definitely use this service again. I am so happy I found Sunshine Auto Spa! They did an amazing job on both of my older vehicles bringing them both back to life again. Our 14 year old Honda Pilot is well looked after but we decided it needed pampering a bit after providing us such good service. We took it to Sunshine primarily because they were close but also the great reviews certainly were an influence. The reviews are justified! We had the full two day service including the engine wash. I brought my trusty Subaru here for a wash & detail prior to sale. David was a pleasure to interact with. He accommodated me on very short notice (same day), and dropped me off at my house so I didn't have to find my own way home. His team were professional and did a fantastic job. They did a fantastic job on my 2008 Ford Escape which had never been detailed before. They were extremely helpful in accommodating us, picking up my car and dropping it off, being very flexible with their time after hours. My black SUV looks like new! I had to get my car spiffed up to sell, and I have a dog and a 1 year old, so you can imagine the condition it was in. They detailed the inside and removed the spilled meatballs, and heaven knows what else, and helped me get asking price for my car. I could not have been more pleased. I researched to find a company in Santa Barbara to clean my engine. I checked out a few but Endor explained to me how important it was to have someone who knew what they were doing. One car is only 4 months old and was being washed for the first time. It ended up with a ding on the trunk, most likely from the end of a hose or something else hard being knocked against it. The other has a large scratch across the passenger door handle, which Guillermo informed me "looks like nails scratches." Even setting aside the damage, the cars simply were not cleaned well. There were spots and smudges all over one car, and an obvious spill on the center console of the other was left untouched. Needless to say, I won't be using him again. I wouldn't trust Guillermo to wash a bicycle again, let alone a car. If you care about your cars, I suggest you stay away from him as well. Edit to respond to the lying business owner: I do know for sure, and I'm helping people avoid what happened to me. Own up to your mistake if you don't want me to tell people to stay away from you. I wouldn't have a problem with you if you took responsibility.
