Hector had tinted our 1987 MBZ 560SEC and 1991Volvo 940SE over twenty years ago and both vehicles had no issues with the film standing the test of time. We are still driving the 560SEC but have replaced the Volvo with a 2015 MBZ GLK350 4MATIC that has a glass panorama roof - a lot of glass overhead and solar gain is an issue living here in California. Hector provides film that eliminates 97% of the Ultraviolet rays (reducing skin damage) and depending on the shade of tint varying amounts of Infrared rays that reduce heat accumulation. When I first met Hector, I was very nervous about bringing my brand new Cadillac Escalade 2021 to him. Just don't know you can trust in the city that we just moved to. What I found was a man who was very kind, extremely knowledgeable and informative to make sure I got the right product not just additional products. I'm so glad I found hector and his company. I recently bought s new vehicle and the feeling of stepping into s hot vehicle in the middle of the day was starting to be unbearable. I have always had 3m tint products installed in every vehicle I had owned. The reason being is some of the generic no name brands out there have a terrible tendency to warp, crinkle and bubble up. As I recently moved to the area I could not find a tint shop that carried 3m products. I did a search of 3m website and found the only authorized dealer in the area was Tint Designs. I called to see if they were open and went to check out the shop. Hector was very friendly and showed me the products he carried. As I already knew which product I wanted installed in my vehicle , I set up an appointment for the tint. I was really surprised that his first available appointment was a week out and that he would require two separate appointments to finish the job. (The reason being is I only had a few hours available and he needed more time) Well fast forward to appointment day, I had more time available and dropped off my vehicle. When I returned several hours later, I was surprised that he was able to finish the entire job ( total of 10 windows) and that the second appointment wasn't necessary. The tint installation was one of the cleanest I had ever seen and he made sure to clean up after himself (no mess inside the vehicle). The tint lines were clean and flush with the glass and you could barely tell there was tint on the front windshield. The 3m product I had installed was crystalline 70 for the front windshield and crystalline 20 on all the other windows. (Be warned crystalline is fairly expensive but you get what you pay for) I definitely will return to Hector with any other vehicle I'll purchase in the future. read more

It has been about two months since I had an appointment with Hector to get my windows tinted and I am very pleased with the work that was done, not a bubble/flaw in sight. Dropped my car off the night before and picked it up by noon the next day. He was able to help me choose the tint percentage that would work best for me as well which was a huge help. He really knows his stuff and is very professional. Great communication and very easy to get ahold of. Hector has been tinting my vehicles and commercial properties for over 20 years and there is NOBODY else I would ever use for window tinting. He is very consistent and meticulous in his work and this is important to me. Best part is he will come to your location and perform the job on site. He just tinted my new car and he recommended a new technology, Ceramic Film. The cost is slightly higher, but after further review, the amount of UV rays are almost 100% removed and do not have to tint the windows dark in order to keep the heat out, which I like as getting older harder to see through dark film. Hector has wrapped the front of my Porsche (as well as putting some UV film on our home windows). He has done a superb job with both. Recently, my car's front bumper was scraped pretty badly by another car at a gas station. I thought I'd have to have the entire bumper repainted/replaced. When I got home, I realized that the damage might not be as bad, since the damage was where the protective wrapping had been installed. I ended up peeling the wrapping off the damaged areas and the actual paint finish was completely intact and undamanged. What a relief! I'll have Hector re-wrap the bumper immediately. read more
