I had two cars washed by Guillermo/Nova Spa (and his partner/helper, whose name I don't know) for the first time, and both ended up damaged in the process. Guillermo won't own up to either. One car is only 4 months old and was being washed for the first time. It ended up with a ding on the trunk, most likely from the end of a hose or something else hard being knocked against it. The other has a large scratch across the passenger door handle, which Guillermo informed me "looks like nails scratches." Even setting aside the damage, the cars simply were not cleaned well. There were spots and smudges all over one car, and an obvious spill on the center console of the other was left untouched. Needless to say, I won't be using him again. I wouldn't trust Guillermo to wash a bicycle again, let alone a car. If you care about your cars, I suggest you stay away from him as well. Edit to respond to the lying business owner: I do know for sure, and I'm helping people avoid what happened to me. Own up to your mistake if you don't want me to tell people to stay away from you. Asked for an interior cleaning and paint correction only. My car's exterior wasn't in great shape but wasn't in my budget to include that this time. They returned my car having done the full works, including the exterior detailing and car wash & wax, so my total was higher to pay for these services as well. I'm happy with the job done but it wasn't really what I'd asked for and I wish they'd asked me before adding on more services I'd have to pay for. I usually take it up with the vendor or restaurant, etc. but this is one of those times where the experience was sufficiently negative and the owner so unwilling to work with me, that I feel it's important to say something. A previous customer's review that said "bait and switch" was right on. I hired for a full detail and got a so so car wash with a "rug shampoo". We have rubber mats inside the car!!! When I pushed the owner on what he offered in our texts, he said I picked a "mid level detail" whatever that means. And not a good car wash even. They left sap stains on the car, dirt smudges, etc. I also had asked him previously to take a credit card which he agreed. Then he wanted to charge a fee for it. I rarely say this. And I want to help small business owners. But I have to say: STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Before I even chose the service, Guillermo was extremely helpful and quick with responding to yelp messages. I was able to send pictures of my car for him to give me an estimate and also his personal opinion of the service I should get to maximize my value. Very quick to set up a time for them to come over, and they brought everything in the van. Even all the water they used. I ended up choosing the "Mini Detail" service and chose the "Seat Shampoo" as the free included add on as part of the deal. The overall service took 90 minutes and all the employees were extremely friendly and hard working. The package I got had extremely great value as the interior and exterior was cleaned exceptionally for the price of $85. I really despise of having to provide a mid-grade review for a small, local business. I'm all about being fair. That being said, I'm not a fan of wasted time. I came across Nova Spa through Yelp and should've realized that the other short 5-star reviews were all of the same caliber. I don't have much experience with other vehicle detailers so called a handful. Nova Spa stood out as they offered low pricing along with flexible (or so I thought) scheduling. The gentleman I spoke with was friendly, outlined the services he could offer, named his price, and we agreed on a time. Other than the Yelp page, there really weren't any other websites referencing this company. Their personal website appears unfinished and I didn't see anything on Google. Fast forward to the day of the scheduled mobile detailing. Nova Spa texted me 45 minutes after the agreed upon time stating the crew was on their way. I waited patiently for an additional 45 minutes (now an hour and a half behind schedule) and reluctantly decided to cancel. It's after 4pm and I'd hate for the crew to rush through this thorough detail as it's nearing end of day. What a shame.
