It's almost 5am I'm getting gas before work and just want a simple little snack to tide me over for breakfast. The doors are still locked so the window is the only way to speak to the attendant, Elades is his name. Normally I would get a lot more than this, but to not be too much of a bother I ask Elades if I can grab a bag of chips which are RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. Even though I'm buying Gas and they open in 30 minutes, this asshole has the nerve to say, "No, only gas and cigarettes. If you want anything else you wait until the doors open at 5:30 and get it yourself." WOW!! I am literally amazed at how lazy someone can be that they can't walk two feet to grab a bag of chips for a customer who is buying 40 bucks worth of gas. Especially when they open in 30 minutes. When I'm looking for cheap 76 gas, this is the place I hit up. Usually is 10-15 cents cheaper than surrounding 76 stations. Area is a bit shady, there's always a couple of people walking around saying they'll pump your gas for a tip or "my van broke down, I got 5 kids, they haven't eaten in 2 days now, I'm running on empty, we just need $20 to get enough gas to get to our Uncle Jimmy's house in Garden Grove." Yes, I've heard that same story twice now. Poor guy keeps running out of gas at the same station on the way to Uncle Jimmy's....just plain bad luck if you ask me :( read more

Pros: Cheap gas and especially cigarettes! Usually 10 or 20 cents cheaper per gallon than any gas station within a mile of here. They accept any tobacco coupon, as well. Cons: Customer Service and customer service. Did I mention, "customer service"? The sense of urgency seems to be lacking all the time. They treat their customers like we owe them a favor. One of the clerks, 'Humberto', is probably the worst customer service clerk EVER. Most of the time he's on the phone talking to someone else, most likely non-work realted. And when they're customers buliding up, he seems to work even slower. And he never ever greets his customers, there is always a frown on his face. It's horrible being from a customer service background. But, the other workers are decent. At least they say hi and thank you when I greet them. Lower prices is what makes dealing with this place somewhat toleratable. Such is life. read more

Never come here! Latina working the register is abnormally rude. Refused to give me a paper dollar for 4 quarters after I routinely spend $200 a week on gas here. Probably racist based on the looks she gave me for asking for such a common question, but I won't go there. I will just dismiss her display as stupidity and ignorance. Went in to turn in a lottery scratcher. Was doing my 2nd chance and it came up as being a winner. Rechecked it and determined it was for a $3.00 free ticket. Came up in the machine as already cashed in by another retailer. Well, okay, no problem right? But no, the man came out of the cell and in front of everyone, very loudly wanted to know where I got it - don't remember - said I was lying, asked me if I stole it, and threatened to call the cops. I was amazed and flabbergasted. I am 70 years old and don't need to steal a ticket that will yield me another $3.00 ticket. He kept at me and never let me get a word in edgewise. Rude doesn't cover it. On hindsight, I should have told him to go ahead and call the cops. I'm sure they would have appreciated it. Maybe had a good laugh. Terrible people. read more

For a place that's open 24 hours it sure closes at random times. And with a rude disregard for their customers. I literally tried to come into the store and buy a bottle of water but was told they were closed (at 9 pm) but I could buy cigarettes if I want. Cool, thanks dude. read more

I go there pretty frequently as it's really close to my house. The prices are consistently lower for gas as well as other items inside. Humberto and the rest of the staff are all really nice as well. read more

The worst gas station in Long Beach. Just like the 7-11 on Cherry and 7th, at any given time be prepared to be bombarded for spare change or cigarettes from random strangers and thats not even my main gripe. They are closed randomly throughout the day for no reason. We were headed to LA a few months back and tried to get gas and some water for the road. At 3pm they wouldn't let us in the mini-mart(which is huge) and we could only get gas. This was the second or third time one of my co-workers said this had happened and If you try to call corporate about this location you are hung up on. I went to get gas the other night, needing it desperately and without any other station close by had to, and the guy in the booth reading his newspaper looks at me says "we're closed" and just continues reading. I'm through with this crap station. read more

This place is convenient for us being close to our business and usually cheaper than most around here. but no more! rather drive all the way to the willow n bellflower gas station with the much much nicer guy! This older hispanic guy w glasses is such an a** Went after work for a can of oil, now you know he can see you pulling up with all those windows so got off and knocked because he wasn't coming up to the window he turns and ignores me! knock again and he comes up I ask him for a bottle and he says "don't have any" I'm like what? Worst customer service I have ever received. I live a block away and it's very convenient for me to walk there and get snacks, or something to drink. I've given this place plenty of opportunities to rebuild their customer service. And every time they have failed miserably. I work in customer service myself and I know how to treat customers with respect and dignity. A particular employee there (Aldo) is the worst, he always has a pathetic excuse that he mopped and "it's wet" today he said it was closed, and I know they don't close until 1am. I went in at 1130pm. Something needs to be done. I wish I could not give them one star at all. I will never visit this store again, I would much rather die of thirst. read more
