I literally live across the street so we go here every other day for miscellaneous drinks and snacks and about once a week for the amazing tacos and mullitas they make inside the store at the taco counter. They actually have a pretty legit menu with a good variety of options but we usually get the al pastor and shrimp tacos and al pastor mullitas. The salsas are amazing and so are the tacos. Eddie's market has a really good selection of craft beers and he even keeps gluten-free cookies in stock! One of the major reasons we don't want to move away from where we live is because we would genuinely miss not having Eddie's a stone's throw away. Update: The food has gone way downhill the last month or two. Super disappointing. The habanero salsa has become flavorless, the shrimp tacos now only have 2 shrimp and the al pastor tastes entirely different. We got a mulita with al pastor tonight for dinner and there was literally three small dime size pieces of meat. We come here once a week at least and are very hesitant to continue that. (See pi

If you are up late and craving a quick but authentic meal? Do yourself a favor & stop at Eddie's market! They have the sweetest employees & take pride in preparing our orders! The Govenador shrimp tacos are absolutely amazing!!! I can never order just one! Lol. Their pozole is the tastiest around, trust me I have looked! Haha. I will always stop here for quality food! They allowed me to bring my bike in as well. In any case I ordered the taco special and they were great. They definitely hit the spot. I can't wait to return to try their tamales.

Came here on a whim to pick up a couple of things. Located in a nice neighborhood, Parking is awful common for the area. It's a typical liquor store and would not call it a market. They have can beer, can sodas , a small selection of cheap wine,and some chips. They do not carry what a market does. Was disappointed to say the least. Can easily be a 3 star review. read more

Very clean and they have many common home needs at fair prices in addition to good supply of various liquors and snacks. They have an atm which i have used easily for cash. I live very close to them and I am glad they are there. Very nice and friendly clerks. read more

I keep giving my money to this store because they're close by and always open!! But they rarely EVER have anything in stock that they advertise online for delivery(UberEats/Postmates). Every time we order they don't have an item and replace it with something completely different and less expensive. We order and then have to pay delivery and tip for items we never wanted. After many refunds from UberEats, I've decided to not give anymore business to this establishment. There are other places in the area and maybe a little further away that deliver what you actually order. Another thing, I understand being out of stock with items. But how about being courteous to your customers and calling them to confirm your replacement is okay with them?? After all, you're the one that falsely advertised items as being on sale at your establishment MULTIPLE TIMES. Shame on me for fooling me way more than twice. I went in the other day they now have fresh food all day. Specialty coffee drinks, Breakfast burritos, sandwiches all made to order. I see they have Vegan, Gluten free, & Keto options as well. Eddie's always has been a local goto convenience store but they just went next level adding a great food spot inside. read more

From the moment my mother and I walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff and you could automatically see that it was an incredibly well managed and well kept establishment. We actually went there for their tacos and boy they were all delicious. We ordered Shrimp, Asada and Fish tacos. The woman they have cooking there is on point and as a Chef, I was highly impressed. I recommend that everyone try them out. We'll be going there again. Delicious! read more

Amazing place, this is kinda of a local secret type of place. From outside looks like a normal good liquor store, but they have a kitchen inside with amazing food! You can get both your snacks and drinks and some amazing freshly cooked meals! Amazing place. read more

Now eddies has Vietnamese food it's from number nine pho that used to be down the street has opened in there. It's still super good and everything is to go. Made fresh. Love the pho and bahn mi sandwiches and spring rolls. For sure check it out read more

First thing i must say is that is market is the best around for a few miles and ive been going to this places for years never had a problem always good prices on the good amd a wide selection of beer and ipa ive seen in awhile and on top of the the workers are always nice and today i lost money didnt know where it went came back to store the nice lady had it for me and knew i lost it due to the fact she remembers all constumers that come in and i told her i lost money this indeed is a loyal store and to its customers happy to always be here and enjoy my local store read more

Review is only for the burrito: Came in around 2:30pm no one else in the store ordering food. Order took about less than 5 minutes. Did a job down the street coworker took me to eddies to have some Mexican I grabbed up the burrito of Pastor with grilled onions the lady said try it with the mango habanero salsa. Ve it was very delicious the burrito was on point had the red salsa on the inside but picked it up to levels unknown with the mango habanero salsa that she made. if you looking for a one stop shop check it out read more

Myself and my boyfriend go to this market often. Yesterday we purchased 2 pints of BR chocolate mint icecream. They were horrible. It appears they had melted and then was frozen again. The texture was disgusting and we threw them out. My boyfriend goes to Eddies Market almost everyday. Yes they were only $5.25 each. But it is the princeable. Very disappointed. No replacement offered *********** I received your reply however we threw them out. I even told my boy friend they dont taste righr. My point was ww are in your story everyday... Ordered off of Eat24 and they called and said they were out of the slice of cheesecake I ordered (for $3.99), but that they had cupcakes and would do two for the price of one, since they couldn't accommodate my order - so I said sure! Food gets here and they sent a pre-packaged vending machine 2-pack of cupcakes (the chocolate ones with the white swirls on top)...really? That's your 2 for 1 deal? And for $4? Those cupcakes cost $0.75 at most in any vending machine. I complained though Eat24, and they called Eddies back to discuss - they wouldn't budge, and they told Eat24 "that's what we sell". In the end, Eat24 refunded me the $3.99 because they know how to treat a customer. The cupcake thing aside, the food was disgusting. Mozzarella sticks were underdone (not fully melted in the middle) and didn't come with any marinara sauce. The subs were filled with cheese and nasty tomato sauce on soggy bread. It's obvious they heated the sandwiches in a microwave. I rarely give 1 star reviews, but this place deserves it. read more

Wow. Overly expensive for the quality you get. The salad (if that's what you want to call it) was about 5 pieces of the center of the head of lettuce, one slice of not quite ripe tomato and some black olives. The lasagna was not completely cooked all the way through, the red sauce was little more than tomato paste and water, and the meat filling tasted funny. I can tolerate some bad food, but I threw this away after two bites. My husband said that his ribs that we paid 13.99 for including the "salad" that had funky ranch dressing, were barely a half slab, and we couldn't determine whether they were beef or pork, because they didn't taste or look like either one. This was the second time we ordered from them, because we thought we'd give them another try after mediocre food the last time. There won't be a third. The only bonus was that delivery was quick. read more

Disgustin food!! Im serious.. I dont like to be mean, but I wish I would have read a yelp review before ordering from this place! Ok.. Let me start by saying, that I was really not going to make a bad review for an order mistake (which I see in this place's Yelps reviews its quite common.) but its definetly part of their bad service, I called and the lady apologized several times,... Seriously, The food looked bad, smelled bad, I mean I didnt want to fight for avocado and bacon! but then the lady txts me to say, she didnt make a mistake that I didnt order the hamburger with bacon and avocado... Clearly, the menu states the California Burger comes with Bacon and avocado! Get your act together... On top of it Their food is disgusting! Driver was nice there is your one star.. You need wayyy more for a three star restaurant, people be honest and stop the madness! read more

Super convenient and right across the street...the guy working the pizza place wasn't super chatty or nice but they made my food in a jiffy...the guy behind the register was nice...and he let me take trips back and forth just leaving stuff at the counter as I found thing I wanted to buy while waiting for my chicken parmesan A little pricier than the supermarket but great for little things you need in a pinch read more

Tasty... Got an order of the cheese bread and a sausage and onion calzone... I prefer sliced sausage and not crumbles but the flavor is definitely there. And the size? Well, I haven't had a calzone since moving from the east coast 2 years ago because they're stupid expensive out here. Their extra-large delivers better than back east. In the special instructions I told them not to forget the unicorns for they are the narwhals of the land. They totally delivered. Unicorns AND Narwhals adorned my pizza box. A quick all-american food place to go to in LB! I get delivery all the time and they have been super awesome so far. Service: 10/10 Friendly and amazing One time one of the food-preparers had delivered the food himself to say he was sorry about the bread sticks he missed with the last order. Not even a big deal because we ordered a lot, but still very sweet and nice to know they cared. I haven't had a single problem or bad service experience with them thus far. Food: 9/10 Expect the quick all-american to-go food. My personal favorite are their hot dogs. Price: Very reasonable. Delivery time: Reasonable and sometimes surprisingly faster. I was feeling a little under the weather. The three ladies behind the counter suggested a tumeric/ginger? drink they made in house . As soon as I drank it it made me a feel better. They suggested to some asada and shrimp tacos which were very good. Since I like their food and didn't live in the area I took home a Mexican pizza. The pizza yeah it is sooo heavy, they do not skimp on the toppings. It took me three days of left overs to finish. Overall I would recommend this place. Like a one stop shop. Its really a hit and miss on the quality of the pizza depending on the person making it. There's a guy who's usually on the night shift and is on point. Theres an older lady who really shouldnt be in the service business. Everyone has their bad days but her attitude towards paying customers is pretty sour. I'm hoping they can get some consistancy going here. Maybe the guy at the night shift can give the rest some training. read more

Awesome little neighborhood market. Great beer selection and really good non-alcoholic beverage selection as well. Service is always super friendly, which definitely has kept me coming back consistently. They also recently added a taco stand inside the store and it's great! About the best street taco you can find around here for $1.25 apiece. read more

Now what should never be allowed is the tasteless, seasonless and soulless potato salad that was presented to me at the counter which should be overhauled or punishable to the chef and crew by making them eat a years supply of this horrific concoction. All in all it was a delightful surprise and I'll be back shortly to enjoy that next round of fantastic sandwiches ! P.S. For the love of God rethink that potato solid it's a good way to lose business if it's that memorable !

The sandwich had a few positives: good amount of beef, tender meat, cheese melted in well and the bread was genuinely great. Soft, chewy, flavorful and easily the best thing here. Everything after that started falling apart. The sandwich was rich and oily but didn't have enough seasoning, acidity or heat to balance it. There were faint hints of cumin and the salt level was fine, but overall it tasted like it was trying to coast on grease. The lettuce and tomato added nothing, and even the cilantro sauce couldn't cut through the oily aftertaste. If you do try it, add onions, pickles and jalapeños because the base sandwich badly needs backup. The fries looked good, then delivered absolutely nothing. Barely seasoned, smaller portion than expected and somehow had a weird burnt aftertaste despite looking normal. That takes effort. Service was the real disaster. The person helping me acted annoyed, like customers were an unfortunate side effect of running a restaurant. The menu board shows combo pricing for some items, like burgers, but not sandwiches, so the chopped cheese combo pricing was unclear. The drink situation was ridiculous. The board says $2.99 for a 24 oz drink and the soda machine was right there, but I was handed a 12 oz can with no heads-up that the machine wasn't available. That's not a substitute. Full size promise for a half-size reality. For $22.03 total, that made the whole combo feel even worse value-wise. Food took almost 30 minutes and it felt like my order sat around until it was convenient to bag it. I only got it when another customer who ordered after me was being helped. Add the flies hanging around the napkins and surfaces and this started feeling less like lunch and more like a health inspection waiting to happen. Parking is rough too since it's on a narrow, busy intersection, though there is paid parking across the street. Overall, the bread was great and the sandwich had potential, but potential doesn't carry bad service, bland fries, unclear pricing, a drink downgrade, a long wait and flies. If the food was amazing, maybe some of this could be overlooked. Nah, too many atrocities happening.

Disgusting! First I ordered on GrubHub. I got there & they decided to make another batch since the mozzarella sticks had broken open. They gave us a free slice of pizza, which we had to throw out bc it tasted like cardboard & was inedible. I got my order & I had to toss that out too! The ranch had gone sour & the mozzarella sticks weren't even cooked!!! Absolutely disgusting. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. I frequent the North Long Beach Store on Artestia Blvd and Butler. It appears the owner is getting his goods from the food bank since all items on the shelves have their expiration dates scratched off. "DON"T BUY COOKIES, CANDY, CHIPS or anything you may want to consume from the shelves of this store unless you can visibly see the dates". This place is an accident waiting to happen.
