It is highly unlikely that the person I received a full body massage from was ever properly trained or licensed. They had no idea what they were doing. I should have just walked out. I feel extremely ripped off. I don't know where the workers were shipped in from. No English either. No effort just rubbed my skin back and forth on top... no basic knowledge of reflexology whatsoever. Worst massage i have ever had. Not professional. Smelly towels. Rough ones they wash you with. I called from Texas early in the week to make an appointment for my mom, my sister and myself. Initially I was apprehensive because there was a bit of a language barrier and she didn't confirm my name only my phone number. I explained to her that I was calling from Texas and wanted to make sure that there would be enough therapists that we could all have our appointments at the same time. Today I received a confirmation phone call and we went in for our appointments. Sunshine Foot Relax is located in the Battlefield Plaza shopping center right next to the Food 4 Less grocery store. My mom and sister both wanted one hour full body massages $60.00 and I wanted a one hour reflexology massage $40. Upon arrival my mom changed her mind and we both went for reflexology appointments. My last reflexology appointment was in Texas and it included a scalp massage in addition to feet, legs, shoulders and back. At this appointment there was no scalp massage but glutes are included. That was a surprise but fine. My sister's massage and mine included it. My mom had opted to have feet and legs only from the beginning of the therapy so hers didn't include it. We all felt so relaxed and pleased with our massages. We are already planning to schedule another appointment on my next trip back to Springfield. I have been experiencing foot pain for unknown reasons. I always start with the least invasive treatment. I called and got an appointment the same day. When I arrived I was taken in with no waiting. They soaked my feet and then the massage began. Not only the feet but my calves, thighs, back, shoulders, arms, hands and neck were massaged. I have never felt better. Having been in the massage industry many years, I love foot massage, and was looking forward to my first visit here based on all of the great reviews. I was a bit pressed for time, so asked if they offered a half hour option. One hour was $40, and they said half hour would be $30. I thought it would have been closer to $25, but decided to proceed, feeling they had already awarded themselves at least a partial tip. The environment was nice, but far too hot. I'm not sure if the A/C was not working (it was about 90 outside) or if they were just conserving energy. There were no fans running. I was uncomfortably warm, even before the hot stones (which were hotter than I have had elsewhere, even during cooler seasons of the year) came out on my feet. The massage was only ok, not very deep pressure, so definitely not reflexology level work, although they did not bill it as reflexology. When finished, I did not have exact change, so I handed him $40, expecting to receive $10 back. He tried to keep all $40, so I had to ask for change. He seemed confused by the request, but then laid out two 10's to replace one of my 20's, so I took one of the 10's. At that moment, he was paid in full. Personally, I did not feel that a tip was warranted given the 75% price for 50% service and the uncomfortable heat. (With excellent service, I am a generous tipper, minimum 20%, often more, depending on the total amount of the service.) As I took the 10, the man said "tips". I asked him to repeat himself, and again he said "tips". I thought tips were optional and at the discretion of the customer, and not something that should be requested, but I did get the only other change I had, $3 (10% of the total), to give him. He looked rather upset as I left. As much as I love foot massage, I will not be returning to this business. For those who do wish to give this a try, I would suggest making sure you have the full hour to get the best deal, and to have a fair amount of change so that you can pay, and tip as appropriate, without having to rely on receiving change. read more

I stumble on this place from people reviews. I like asian massage because they can hit the spot right. I decided to try it out with one of my girlfriend before her wedding the next day. I got a dude and he wasn't bad, did a great Job!! My girl got the full body massage and she say it was amazing!! Just make sure u tell them what services u are wanting so they won't confuse u with the prices a d always ask them to confirm!! i don't care how much to pay, i just wanna make sure we all got the right service. Anyways overall was pleasant!! Very calm and quiet relaxing. The people don't whisper or talk to each other like the other asian massage which are a plus!!! read more

Perfect! New Owner. I chose the 60 min for 60.00 special. Full body. NOT "that kind" of parlor. It was a full body / slash physical therapy session / reflexology. The lobby was bright and inviting. The private rooms, while dark are relaxing and equipped with normal items needed for a real massage, they are open at the top, so you can hear anything & everything. ( the foot massage seems to be past the private rooms. ) I heard the girl in the front turn away "mr 30 min special" then turn around and accept another male client for 30 min massage. So if you want try an Asian massage I would go here. 100% professional. When my time allows, I will go back. After my session I talked to my therapist & the lady up front for a bit. They would love to see more women go to them. They are fully aware what is thought of as Asian massage in this town & are working to change that stereotype. I'm so glad I found this place! It was cheap great quality massage. I found the place on living social deal, I saw the promotion signs outside their establishment, but never really thought of going in. They also have one of the cool transformer chair/massage bed!!! The one hour foot massage included face, head, foot, legs, neck, shoulder and back massages!!! It's like you getting body massage In the price of foot massage!! The only down side is everyone that get foot massages are in the same room so it's not super private and sometime massagers are talking to one another while you are trying to relax. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I tried this place years ago when it first opened. It was not a good experience back then and it wasn't a good experience today. I was really hoping that it would have improved over time, but it was just disappointing. I called to see if they had anything available and the lady told me nothing that day, but to come tomorrow, so I said Yes, tomorrow works and to put down for 2 people at 5:00pm. Well when we got there, the lady greeted us and acted all confused and kept looking at a paper and then said can you wait 15 mins and then ran off texting on her phone. So we waited, then got shuffled into the chairs, and got settled in. I didn't want to wear the cloth over my face, and the lady kept putting it back on my face. So I folded it and put it over my eyes. The music was too loud and the lady kept singing with the music, the guy my mother had kept burping and clearing his throat. The massage was okay, but you couldn't relax at all with the music being too loud, the lady singing, the guy burping, and then they kept talking to each other. So after the time was up, we were getting our shoes and glasses on and the guy starts walking around spraying the towels on the chairs we were just using, and then remaking them. THEY DO NOT WASH THE TOWELS BETWEEN CLIENTS!!!! They just spray it with (HOPEFULLY) disinfectant spray and remade the chairs. Overall, it was not worth the $40 foot massage, it was not relaxing at all and the spraying the towels on the chairs instead of putting news one, really did us in. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING, AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

This is one of the best massage places I have been to and I've been to a lot of them. Granted it's not in the nicest neighborhood but if you can get over that this massage place is the best. They knew what they were doing and knew were you hurt at. They even suggest things to help you with the knots. I wish I had a place like this in Okc but since we don't I just got a massage the 2 days in a roll while I was there visiting . It was so worth it. read more
