The only challenge I during this whole process was with the transport company themselves - they had agreed to a delivery period (after 8pm because my friend receiving my vehicle works full time) and the day before insisted my friend HAD to be available from 12-2pm to receive my car and they could not do any other time. They essentially forced my friend to take a day off - and on the day of delivery, the transport company kept running late and ended up delivering after 8pm anyway! When my car was not picked up, I contacted Chris the owner numerous times. It took him a few hours to get back to me. He said that he his truck had broke down and he was unable to pick up my car that day, but would be in contact with me as soon as he had a truck in the area. I waited over five days with no direct communication from him. I continued to contact him to get one excuse after another he then stated he was going to have to pay an extra $500 out of his own pocket to transport my car to me. I then offered him to refund my money which he did readily. I then contacted another car transport company. They picked my car up within 12 hours of me signing the contract people never use this company.

Predictably, Roadrunner, who has one of the worst Yelp scores I've ever seen, botched the entire reservation process, ignored my calls and messages and left me hanging. Fortunately I remembered Ship Your Car Now who I used back in 2015. I reached out and spoke to Jody who really came through and helped me get out of the jam that Roadrunner put me in. Jody had a driver for me in less than a day and the car, unbelievably, arrived in less than 24 hours. I was completely amazed and impressed with their rapid service. The driver was really cool and did a great job keeping me informed throughout his journey. Everything went well, and the car arrived in exactly the same shape as it was when I handed over the keys. Their representative NEVER disclosed that MAT was nothing more than a broker, No ability to insure they would get the automobile moved on the requested and agreed upon dates. Discussions began in early July and they constantly said they were trying to get a "trucker " to take the job. Only after delay after delay did they say they could do NOTHING but continue to watch the " board " and "HOPE" they could get a trucker to take on the assignment. Even after increasing the job cost from $850.00 to $1,000.00, did they still "FAIL". Finally after 3 full weeks with NO success, did I take the assignment away from them.
