Hands down the WORST SHIPPING COMPANY I have ever dealth with, period. I'm on the third day our car was supposed to be at our house from the dealership and trying to communicate with this place is beyond a disaster. No one know where my $30,000 vehicle is. This company just farms out their shipping to Russians & Ukranians who don't speak English and have zero ability to communicate with you. No updates, when I reached out to Ship Your Car they gave me a phone number to some Russian guy who was absolutely obnoxious and rude. Terrible Experience - Damaged My Brand-New Jeep and Took No Responsibility I had an awful experience with ShipYourCarNow transporting my brand-new 2025 Jeep Wrangler. When the vehicle was delivered, it had clear and noticeable dents and scratches--damage that was absolutely not present prior to shipment. I documented the vehicle before transport, so there was no question about the condition it left in. When I contacted ShipYourCarNow to report the damage, I was shocked by their response. Instead of taking accountability or offering to make it right, they pointed to fine print in their policy and essentially told me the damage wasn't covered. This is completely unacceptable for a company in the vehicle transport business. If you care about your car--especially if it's new or valuable--look elsewhere. Predictably, Roadrunner, who has one of the worst Yelp scores I've ever seen, botched the entire reservation process, ignored my calls and messages and left me hanging. I'd like to be able to review how the transport process went, except that they did not show up as scheduled to pick up my car. Despite the claim of 24/7 customer support I could only reach a dispatcher who said she'd try to reach the driver. When I called back I got a recorded message that they were closed. They totally left me hanging with no information when I had a 7am flight back north the next morning. I was able to make other arrangements to get the car shipped, but the changing of the air travel was very expensive! Abe Tarzy was the sales person and his lack of response was despicable. Boy am I glad I did not read some of the negative reviews before I shipped my car using Ship Your Car Now! Shane fielded my call after I was pissed about being jerked around by an unscrupulous carrier baiting me with the lowest price and then sitting on the request only to jack it up sky high. I'd let you know who it was if you want. Shane calmed me down and said to give him a shot at my business. He came back with a higher quote than I wanted and by the end of the call he said that is he could get it done for a couple hundred less, would he get the business and I gave it to him to post. Within 4 days he found a carrier that was accepting of the sum. The transporter arrived when he said he would and delivered when he said he would. The car was in the same shape and dirty from the travel, yet that is what you get with open transport and I knew that going in. Folks, the transport game is just that. Set your ground and make them own up to a price you feel is reasonable after having done some initial research. Give yourself lots of time and do not succumb to anyone saying, they just could not get it done for less. Tell them to take it off the board, and ensure it is down before you go somewhere else. Really? I have to select at least one star? I am contacting the authorities today to report what I can only imagine has become a car theft. 14 days ago I was faced with the dilemma of having to transport a car at the very last minute from Ohio to Arizona. It HAD to happen that day as we were already traveling to our destination and realized that towing the second vehicle was not working. Other car shipping companies could not even retrieve the car for a number of days, ShipYourCarNow did indeed pick it up that same day. I read some reviewes and most were good, positive. Although there were some stinkers, they were few. SO I went with ShipYourCarNow. We thought all was finally on track for our travels. Well, it was supposed to take 6 days. 14 days later, we have yet to see the car. Just by chance, we extracted some information that the car "was involved in an accident" in California, not exactly on the way from Ohio to Arizona. We would have never found out except I called the ShipYourCarNow 800 number and a general phone help person admitted that the car was "still in the body shop". wha-Wha-WHAT???? Apparently there was another truck in a truck stop that had a hit and run situation with the car carrier and our car was damaged. All this is supposedly confounded by Hurricane Dorian bearing down on the ShipYourCarNow office in Florida and then Labor Day weekend, but do I care? This is a place of business, they should have had a disaster plan in place to keep business going in the face of a hurricane threat. And well, our car is still missing, someone should take the holiday time to locate it for us. I had originally been speaking to the ShipYourCarNow broker named Jody, when the "accident" happened, he put me in contact with an exec for ShipYourCarNow named Garret, Garret also gave us the number for the carrier OSSO and the carrier's owner Mike. We've never heard back from Mike from OSSO. Garret has stated that they could not get any video from the truck stop regarding the accident, why? Shouldn't they be contacting the hit and run assailant? Apparently they are repairing the car out of pocket, I imagine to avoid insurance dings. The last thing he told us was that we would see the car on the weekend. The weekend has come and gone with no car in our possession. Now "because of the hurricane" the communication from everyone has been oddly silent. Therefore, I've decided I've had enough, and now that the holiday is over, if I do not hear from ShipYourCarNow this morning with a positive update, that we will see our car WITH all of its personal contents inside, and a full refund of the $1500 fee they charged for this service, I will be forced to contact the authorities to report a stolen vehicle. Since it involved transport across state lines, I will contact the FBI first. read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS I received the car for Susan M, who's review is below, and to which Garrett responded. The driver arrived at roughly 8:30pm, following a specified delivery time of 3-5pm. I had to leave for a work dinner, so I called him and asked him to park the vehicle in our driveway, behind my white Land Rover, and to leave the keys in our mailbox. This request could not have been clearer, and the driver said he understood. I arrived home an hour later to find no car in my driveway. At that point, he told me the address he'd been given by dispatch was for a neighbor's house, down the street, and that he'd somehow decided that rather than calling me back for clarification, that he'd just decided to park on the street, and leave the keys under the floor mat of an unlocked car. Fortunately, the car was still there, and I was able to move it to my driveway. For some perspective, this is in Hollywood, where there is both crime, and strict parking enforcement. The driver had parked the car (against instructions!), in a permitted parking area, with two wheels in the red-painted no-parking zone. We're extremely lucky the car wasn't towed, stolen, or ransacked. The driveway was not blocked, as Garrett suggests, he'd simply given his driver the wrong address. Regardless, why would a driver not simply call me right back to ask about a blocked driveway, rather than simply ditching an unlocked car in a no-parking zone with the keys in it and no further communication? This matter has not been addressed to our satisfaction, and personally I find Garrett's suggestion that we're lying about this to be extremely offensive. We will not be using this business again, and can't recommend that you do either. Ship Your Car Now was careless in the delivery of our vehicle, and is now accusing us of lying. That is bad business. I shoulda just gotten in my own truck, taken four days off, driven 1350 miles to Mississippi, bought a cheap tow bar, and done it myself. With the exception of the man who eventually released my car to me (who does NOT work for SYCN, to be perfectly clear), almost every step in this process was completely botched. -"Look, It's gonna cost $1100. Those guys that quoted $700 are just lowballing you on the shipping boards, and hoping for the best. You probably won't get a call back from half those guys." -"We're not just auto shippers, we're logistics experts." -"Dude, I'm a badass, I'll get that car shipped for ya." -"Yeah, man, got you a driver who will be there on Friday, shipment in no more than five days." 75% of the above is false. By the time Friday came around, I had calls from other shippers offering to pick up the car on Friday, for $700. One guy claimed he was within 10 minutes of the place! Guess what - the CAR WASN'T PICKED UP ON FRIDAY. I made it eminently, painstakingly, crystal clear that the pickup location was NOT open on weekends. So the key was hid somewhere on Friday evening by the folks in Mississippi, and the driver picked up the car a day late. So much for logistics expertise. I'm still expecting my car on Wednesday, because I received an email stating It was on time. l called SYCN three times on Wednesday, and finally, I get a call at 4:45... "My truck is broken down. I am in Sayerville, New Jersey." Irate beyond words, I call back SYCN, and they tell me it might be delivered on the weekend. Unacceptable. I sternly requested that I be partially compensated for this nonsense. I know the driver can't help what happens to his truck, which is why I'm not blaming him, but I dunno, have you heard of, say, GETTING ANOTHER TRANSPORTER to the location? There were six cars on the thing - two Ram 3500s with car trailers would have done just fine. And yes, I can speak from authority on this, because I work in transport too. I've done long hauls, I've had my truck break down. But you know what I do when shit happens? I immediately seek ALTERNATIVE RESOURCES instead of leaving a customer to just wait. I give people discounts for unexpected maladies and delays, I take money out of my pocket to ensure customer satisfaction, I care about the people I serve, even if it's not to my financial benefit. What goes around, comes around. Fun fact - just this past week, I gave one customer $42.50 off for starting late due to a trailer failure, and another customer just paid COST because I had to rent a truck, and we started 3 1/2 hours late. I literally made $0 for that job on 3/31, because it's worth not pissing off a nice guy who has done nothing wrong. "There's no money back! You signed a contract; we don't guarantee delivery dates!" Sure was a different tune than the self-proclaimed "badass" who was going cut the red tape and get me my car home quickly. Instead, I indeed showed up in Sayerville, NJ, with a tow bar, and $1100 cash, absolutely sick of having my car mishandled by brokers who simply... don't... care. The driver was able to give me $50 off. Like I said, no fault to the driver, and the gesture alone of giving me $50, essentially paying for my gas to get to Sayerville (240 mile round trip), was a golden-hearted deed. He is a true gentlemen doing the actual grunt work of auto transport. But this broker - no different than any of the others. Talk a big game, backpedal when shit hits the fan. Let me explain, I was wanting my truck shipped from Panama City Beach, Florida Back to British Columbia Canada... This drive Takes a week max as I did it myself to get the truck down there... After 2.5 weeks my truck gets to the border and they needed paperwork to get the truck across the border which they failed to say while he truck was on its way up... So it took me 2 days to get them the necessary paperwork, I then was told it would be on a truck Friday, on Friday it wasn't on a truck... I was then told The following Monday, on Monday it still wasn't on a truck.. I was then told Thursday and on Thursday it still wasn't on a truck... I was hen told Saturday, Saturday came and it still wasn't on the truck... They then told me Monday and Monday again it still wasn't on the truck... This has gone on for 3 weeks at this time... my truck being 4 hours away from where I live... The continually lied saying that it was going to be here on a specific day and it wasn't! Now it has literally left me no choice but to drive to the border and pick up my own truck because these guys clearly aren't doing it! Oh did I mention I have been renting a car at $600 a week waiting for my truck that has now been 7 weeks to get half way! I could've shipped my truck to China in less time!! I would strongly recommend not going with this company unless you want to be lied to! Then they also tell me they will refund me $300 from the $4000 I paid them to get my truck here! SHIPPER BEWARE! In Brief: This company is ONLY a broker, a middle man, once they have your deposit, they will disappear! And it will become the biggest nightmare you ever had! In Detail: My husband and I were moving over 1200 miles and we had numerous vehicles to ship, we got on Yelp and called quite a few companies, we called Ship Your Car Now even though they had numerous bad reviews, but the rep seemed SUPER helpful, would even answer his phone on a Sunday evening to answer our questions. BUT...What they leave out is that they are only a referral service a middle man a broker, and once we put that credit card number in the system and signed their electronic contract, the person we had been talking to almost every day disappeared off the face of the earth?? So, moving time comes, and the "truck driver" who speaks literally no English calls and demands we have the vehicles ready a day early, we said there is no way, and that we signed the contract for the next day and there is no way to have them all ready. So after about 100 phone calls and 100 emails to the rep we had been talking to at Ship Your Car Now he finally answers and says he took care of it and they would pick up on the day we scheduled. The next day they were suppose to give us a 2 hours notice and a completely different driver appears out of the blue, he did not speak hardly any English and said he was a different driver than who was supposed to do the pick up, well we were leery of letting our cars go to some other person, but now the SYCN rep won't answer. So we get plate numbers of the truck, etc and go ahead and let him take the vehicles. The vehicles left on a Sunday, and the driver was supposed to only get to the drop off location on Thursday, well the driver broke every law in he truck driver book and got there in darn near 24 hours. My husband and I hadn't even left yet when the driver gets to my husbands elderly moms house 1200 miles away and demands $3000 from her in cash, yelling at her, swearing at her, so she is calling us, the driver is calling us, and we can't understand him, he refuses to unload the cars until he gets his cash. This goes on for 3 hours, when finally the driver gets his boss to call us, who by the way is yet another middle man, but speaks better English and we set up a series of payments through PayPal. Finally after the last payment goes through the truck driver drops the last car. In the meantime we have been calling the SYCN rep and emailing him at least a million times with no response. Moving is bad in general, moving 1200 miles is worse, moving with people like this who say they are here to help you is beyond a freaking nightmare! Nope, Yelp, this is very much the business that deserves this review. (And I wonder who brought it to their attention.) It would be a smack in the face to Yelp's integrity to remove it again, so I am reposting. From 4/2015: My experience matches up with the many deceitful other ones, unfortunately. I used "Ship Your Car Now" and "Captain Gary" was my contact. Despite plenty of planning, on my pick-up date nobody arrived. I had to call and call and call, and was told a truck broke down first. Then, they said because I had posted a U-Ship bid (which had expired 2 weeks prior to my pick-up), the driver claimed to have seen this posting and was concerned there'd be nothing to transport, so he just didn't show up. I was given a phone number to a driver, who I called several times, and once I reached his wife, who then put me in touch with him, he said he was never told about a pick-up assignment. I reported this to the BBB; SYCN (Garrett) reached out and asked me to work with them. So I took what I thought was an olive branch, and I told BBB we are working to resolve. After 2 months (and me ultimately booking a different shipping company that handled everything beautifully), the resolution was "we can't refund all of your money, but we'll give you $150" of [hush] money. I declined, re-opened my BBB case, and will post on as many review boards as I can so others don't make the same mistake as me. Sadly, if you read the reviews about this company, it looks like many others have lost money/time dealing with these people. Stay away is the best advice I can offer. ***BEWARE....CROOKS AND THIEVES*** I am giving this car service 1-star because it will not allow me to give them a ZERO....which is exactly what they deserve. What started as simple conversation about shipping a vehicle from TX to AL turned into a disaster. Let me start by saying that we have transferred multiple vehicles in the past and have never experienced such poor "customer service". Our transaction started with a man by the name of "James Moorehead". We discussed and scheduled a shipping date, signed the agreement and my card was charged for $225. A few days before the car was to be picked up, I called James to request a pick up day change. He mentioned it was no issue at all. I requested the car to be picked up that Saturday and he told me it would be at an extra fee. After being on hold quite some time he mentioned that they could agree to he same price for that Friday. He told me the driver would contact me 24hrs in advance to confirm his arrival. I agreed and he sent over the contract. I signed (not reviewing, which I will take credit for). James had assigned Thursday as my pick up day instead of Friday, like we agreed upon on the phone. Thursday rolls around, I am at the office and I get a phone call from a driver stating he is in my driveway to pick up my vehicle. What??? I never received a 24hr in-advance call! We verbally agreed to Friday (Thursday was never even spoken upon). The car wasn't at the house to be picked up. As, I am in the middle of a big meeting I request the driver call James Moorehead to get things hashed out and organized. The drive said he has no clue who James was. THATS ALARMING!! At this point I still had not realized the digital contract was signed for a Thursday pick up (again, I take responsibility for this). James then tells the driver to go on about his route, without my vehicle. Once off work, I call James so we can get things straight for the following day (Friday). James took his lack of professionalism to a whole new level at this point. He told me I would have to be charged for the drivers inconvenience. After a huge hassle he agreed to transfer my $225 to the next driver. He told me he would get back to me in a few minutes on what time I could expect the next driver. At this point it is Thursday evening. Friday morning rolls around. I make sure to have the vehicle ready for shipment, sitting in my driveway. I still have yet to hear from a driver or James. I call him about 4x throughout Friday and get no response. I text, no response (he had texted before so I know his work line was a cell). Friday, no communication and no service. That night, I leave a voicemail and text message telling him I want a refund and will not be using their service. I call James for 3 days...no response. Upon checking my bank statement I notice a $30 refund. But for what? I want to know what its for and who authorized it. After days of no communication, I decide to try and speak with a supervisor. Perhaps at that point I can get some clarification and better understanding of what the problem was. A woman by the name of Elga answers the phone. I ask if to speak to a customer service supervisor. She said she was. I again ask her, to insure no time is wasted. "are you the supervisor". She responds "yes". I go into my 20 minute overview. She was very kind and acted understanding but after hearing my issue expressed I needed to speak to a manager. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She explained she was not at liberty to make any refunds and she could have a manager call me the following day to discuss options. I was livid. I just wasted 20 minutes of my life I would not get back, re-telling my situation to a person who claimed to be a supervisor then changed her mind. She promised I would hear from a supervisor and I have yet to get a call back. As a test... my wife decided to call back in hopes of speaking to someone different who perhaps could transfer us to a manager. She called and said she would like to speak to a manager about tipping an excellent driver. HILARIOUS... they patched us straight through. Isn't it funny...when you want a REFUND you are denied but when they think they have an opportunity to take more money suddenly a manager is available. Issac -- the ever so unprofessional manager answers, and when she tells him she called to get a refund he begins screaming at her that she called "under false pretenses and should be ashamed", he also called her a "liar". What kind of customer service does this? She passes the phone to me who is then passed on to yet another manager.... Raymond answers with anger in his voice. I am now livid that my wife has been yelled at. Raymond is telling me he doesn't have to help me and that "he does what he wants". He also said "my job is not to help the customer". 1st Review. (My 2nd review will follow after delivery and once I take possession of my car) Bottom line -Terrible service with inaccurate status of where my car is or when it will be delivered. Their email notifications and communications are inaccurate. When I called my contact Carlos Somarriba yesterday and asked for status he told me one story and dispatch a completely different story (and they were rude) I was supposed to receive my car on 9/24 as per the last email from Carlos on 9/23 (see below) On 9/23 when I called Carlos then I was told car was in Nacogdoches TX but somehow I still hadnt been contacted by driver as to a delivery window time. At end of day I called dispatch since I hadn't heard a thing and they said car would be delivered on 9/26 due to a break down w truck. On 9/24 I called Kurt (Manager) who didn't have a clue as to where car was and asked me to call him later in the day (as I didn't have anything else to do) So I decided to call dispatch and they said they had told me yesterday car had just left Chicago (actually they said breakdown) So, long story .... WHO THE HECK KNOWS when I will get my car ????LOL. Next time Ill go back with MONTWAY AUTO TRANSPORT, yes more expensive but outstanding service with accurate information and less hassle of having to chase people. I came to texas called my assigned driver he would not pick up his phone. I called the tow service that was responsible for scheduling, they did not even have a real number it was a google voice number!! no voice message could be left. I finally called my initial SHIP YOUR CAR NOW representative Anthony explaining that I had arranged a time and date and confirmed it so many times! I was frustrated, i knew that If they did not pick the car on time I would have to leave in behind. Anyway he told me to be "grateful that he picked up his phone on a Saturday afternoon" and to wait for him to call me back. He never called. Within a week of posting my review of SHIP YOUR CAR NOW on a transportation review website, I received a called from a representative from SHIP YOUR CAR NOW. He stated that he was calling to "Make sure I received the best experience possible", but he was actually calling to BRIBE me. He said that our original representative "made a mistake" in how he handled our situation. When I asked for clarification on what the "mistake" was, whether it was a mis-quote of the original price or rather calling us back to tell us we had to pay more, he skirted around the question. He then offered us $100 in exchange for THE REMOVAL OF MY ORIGINAL NEGATIVE REVIEW. I have never been so shocked by a company's behavior as I was during this conversation. If you are reading reviews of SHIP YOUR CAR NOW and wondering why they have 5 stars, THIS IS WHY. They are calling and offering people money to take down bad reviews. If people who had been offered this bribery were refusing it many others would be saved from dealing with this company and incurring damage to their vehicles and losing their money. Craig with Ship Your Car Now is FANTASTIC!!! He stayed on my deal from start to finish which reduced my stress level immensely (we are moving long distance). The rate was very reasonable considering we were shipping a 3500 GMC truck. I do need to note that the DRIVER who took our job was GODAWFUL which is why my review gets ONE STAR. The business name of the driver is Exclusive Auto Trans. He lied from start to finish. Didn't show up when he was supposed to, repeatedly lied to me and to Craig at Ship Your Car Now. I ended up having to leave my keys with the driver's son (who lived in our area) and leave for our trip to our new location. I never really knew for sure IF my truck was going to be picked up or not (it was supposed to be picked up on a Thursday afternoon and driver did not pick up vehicle until late Friday evening after we left town). The truck was supposed to be delivered EARLY Saturday morning and we did not receive it until 3:30 pm ....... which messed up our entire day, had to cancel Saturday activites waiting around for this loser. Because of the dishonesty of the driver, this entire transaction was EXTREMELY stressful, BUT Craig was on this guy from start to finish. I dont even want to give them one star but the drivers are great friendly and on time if it was just the driver i would give them five stars their great THE BROKER on the other hand quoted us one price that we agreed on the next thing i know there was an extra unauthorized withdraw of 160.00 taken from my account .....need less to say bank was notified and is under investigation,if your going to do buissiness with these guys just keep an eye on your bank acct. If i cold give -5 stars i would. I did my transaction with tim gave him my info for a deposit & next thing i know my card has a unauthorized transaction for 900 dollars. The manager says it was a mistake because they have a new employee, when this happened I decided to cancel & they would't refund my money back. This company should be reported to the police as they are the biggest SCAMMERS will make you lose your time, money & your car won't be shipped or they will control you and try to charge you more since they already have your car. Save yourself a problem & use another company. Ps. Yelp if you delete this review i will keep posting it for as long as i can.
