Passing through Yuma and craving a deli sandwich. Found JT BROS and am still thinking about the sandwich a week later! They serve a healthy menu with a variety of options sandwiches/wraps, breakfast options, vegan, kids menu, smoothies, lemonade, coffees, alcohol (after 4pm) etc. I ordered a BALT sandwich meal combo--included fries or chips + lemonade (w/flavor options). No big deal, I thought. But the sandwich was served up on fresh sourdough and the bacon was chopped up into tiny pieces so it was so easy to eat without tugging, and served with avocado slices, tomato, lettuce and the right amount of mayo ratio (which was important). The homemade lemonade was a treat. And I had the garlic fries--delicious! As mentioned, I'm still thinking about how good that sandwich was. The place isn't huge but they seat a lot of people. I wasn't aware of the affiliation with the steakhouse when we decided to come here for lunch but that made me even more excited to try it. The place is in an unassuming location, but as soon as you go through the door it's much nicer inside. We received an immediate friendly greeting but hadn't studied the menu enough to know just what we wanted. I decided on the Cuban and upgrade to fries option. Workmate ordered the chicken club with truffle fry upgrade. 2 sandos with fries and one canned soda.. $45. Not inexpensive so it'd better be fantastic and of decent proportions. Well it was neither. The bread was good but the inside of the sandwich was just weird. For me at least, it just didn't work. The meat was room temp at best and seemed a little past its prime. For the price point I feel it was lacking a proper amount of cheese, and could have had more pickle. While I've never seen tomatoes on a Cuban before, they didn't add or detract from the sandwich itself. The concept on the fries is great! Hand cut, I'm pretty sure, thick wedge style fries. I tried the workmate upgraded truff/parmesan fries and they were good too but I'm not on the truffle bandwagon like everyone else so the $4 option doesn't make sense. I feel that I paid too much for disappointing food. I most likely won't return but I do think I had great service and the employees there want to make sure you're happy with your service. read more

Went here with a coworker for lunch. She got the Vallarta special and I got a chicken Cesar salad. Both were amazing! The Cesar salad was fresh and the dressing had a little spice to it without changing the overall flavor. The decor was something you'd see in an upscale place in phoenix or Scottsdale which was a welcome change to the old school Yuma. Our food was brought out in a timely manner. Awesome lunch spot. The garbanzo posole was delicious. The garbanzo beans themselves were maybe slightly more al dente than I like but it was till delicious. I soak dry beans and pressure cook them at home and was wondering if maybe theirs were canned or something and that's why I liked them a little less. I would totally get that soup again though, very good! I also really enjoyed the cauliflower sandwich (More than I thought I would from the description!) and the fries. The real star was the French bread that tasted really fresh. Didn't love the patty melt sandwich as much. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly. On our drive from Queen Creek, AZ to San Diego we found this place in Yuma on Yelp. It's a modern sandwich shop with a fun decor, clean restrooms and friendly team members. We just needed a snack to hold us over for dinner so we split an Vallarta especial with the jalapeños on the side. I'm kind of a wimp with spicy heat, but this sandwich was absolutely delicious with just a mild kick. I also enjoyed the hibiscus tea. We'll definitely be back when we head home! read more

What a great lunch option with an exciting menu for all. This is a quick operation that can pump out your sandwich, piping hot, in minutes! When I was there, they were dealing with a massive pickup order and were still able to get my order out of the kitchen quickly. The vegetarian options are great! They come with vegan dairy alternatives, but it was easy to swap them out for regular cheese/mayo. The chipotle veggie patty sandwich was very flavorful with fresh ingredients. This is my all time favorite sandwich place and i usually go to the 32nd location that closes at 3 but this new location opneed So i thought i would try it out and i go to get a B.A.L.T. bacon,avocad, lettuce, tomato comes on the sandwich and i always get it and always worth the price about 13$ after tax i go to the new location and i order the B.A.L.T. and she asked if i wanted to try the new garlic fries yes i do cause i also wanted to try the blue crush smoothie and why did the total come out to 29$ so i look at my receipt and she charged me for 2$ to add avocado to a sandwich that already comes with avocado so i let her know and they refund it cool but i get my food and there is a chunk of pineapple as big as my hand almost in the drink??? why cause i saw the blender get pulled out so why isn't it blended and the fries that ended up being 8 dollars were 7 fries in a small cup not worth it at all the serving size for that price is so crazy and idk maybe this location changed which bread they are using but the bread was damn near raw idk but it's was a werid experience for a brand new opening restaurant of a restaurant that i've been to before in the past read more

Bahn mi for lunch. $14 for sandwich $4 for a cola. Didn't have chips cuz only options were jalapeño or bbq. Don't like either Pork on sammie was good. Picked veggies weren't pickled. The essence of Bahn mi ( literally:bread) is the crusty, airy baguette. Crusty, "yes". Not very, but still crustyish. Airy? No! Quite the opposite. The soggy sodden mess of bbq, mayo, sriracha left a pasty gloppy messy bun. Sriracha has become too ubiquitous ( it's at Burger King for crying out loud). Sriracha doesn't equate to Viet. In this case, the fresh, natural flavors that signify good Viet cooking were lost in goop. Less goop, more attention to pickling, more cilantro and add star anise to the pork. That's twice for JT and two hard strikes. The Havanese was better, but still misses the mark (hint: Coleman's mustard). Once more to make or break in my book read more

They were amazing, but I ordered to go and I submitted for pick up at 12 and I got a notification when I arrived that pick up at 1230. My lunch was at 1230 and only 30 mins lol so that time was not convenient for me. I called multiple times and no answer prior to picking up so I can try to cancel my order. I waited 15 mins for my food. That was annoying. I got the blt sammy and it looks amazing till I opened it. It was so greasy! I mean the whole container was so greasy! It was not appetizing. I was very excited to try this restaurant and I'm happy we stopped in. I had the avocado toast and added hard boiled egg to it. I think the price for the added hard boiled egg was excessive but my toast was good. The burrito with chorizo in it was yummy. I like the salsa that came on the side of it. We were disappointed when we came in early that morning and could not order a biscuit that is featured on the menu. They were out of them. The record player in the restaurant is a nice touch. Yep this is the place! Do you love sandwiches? Good bread? Eclectic menu?! This is a must stop when in Yuma. I got the vegan Tomato Avocado, which is a vegan version of the BLT, so without the bacon, with a garbanzo spread that is delicious. I recommend even for the meat lovers out there. For a sandwich shop they have risen to the next level with The Banh Mi (cured porkbelly, siracha aioli, radish, cucumber etc on a french baguette) to vegan and vegetarian sandwiches all the way to the traditional levels of a House Reuben (no, this will not be your average Reuben). They have a great selection of homemade soups (again! a Vegan option!), salads and sides. Did I mention the fresh bread?! To round it off they have their own daily make on the "Chef's Infused Water". You heard me. Daily they have different fresh infused water. The day I was there they had a strawberry as the special. And to blow your mind more- they have breakfast sandwiches! What can I say about this totally surprisingly good place? It's perfect for when you want to grab a quick but extraordinary sandwich (or soup, or Açaí bowl, or salad!) I would usually crave pho noodle soup (which, by the way, is also in the same mini-plaza on 32nd St, across from Fisher Chevrolet dealership almost). I was glad to have changed my mind and to have decided to go to JT Bros. The menu is really balanced between meatier sandwiches, to vegetarian offerings, and to (amazingly!) vegan choices! Hubby loved the Vallarta Sandwich (pork belly, yummy!!), and I tried the Vegetable Chipotle Melt (even sounds sooo good). Chef Alex came to our table because I was wondering what was the story behind the chandelier that hung over the counter. If I recall correctly, Chef Alex was the chef at the Quechan Casino, or the "Q" off the freeway, when it opened several moons ago. Now, don't quote me on this, but I think he was/is also the Chef at The Patio, at the Desert Hills golf course. And he has a (new to me!) venture called Pop Up restaurant right next door.
