Nothing offensive in the few slices presented. Definitely not Katz deli, but also 15 bucks cheaper than a great NY deli. So, there's that. Strong yellow mustard was ok. Not hot like Coleman's, pretty much hot dog mustard. Nothing wrong with that. Personal preference. Dill pickles a total fail. Not deli pickles, not sweet gherkins ( I thought sweet gherkins were mandatory on pastrami. Guess not) Don't get me wrong: I didn't like it but you might love it. Nothing inherently wrong. Just not what I expected. Darn it! Now I'm starving for pastrami and might have to fly to Cleveland or Chicago to cure the itch!

Each beer was phenomenal in mouth feel as I like the richer, creamier beers. Chango malo had a lovely cocoa flavor. Peanut Butter stout actually tasted like peanut butter without being offensive. You can taste the peanuts behind the butter. The Crimin ale had a good mouth feel but pro tip - don't have a lighter beer between two heavier ones with spicy food. It gets a bit overpowered. On the topic of food, I had the Wrecker sandwich. Soft roll, smoked meat, and crunchy slaw made for a good dichotomy of texture in the sandwich. When you see smoke rings in a bbq sandwich, you know you're eating some primo shit. I'm not a big fan of spicy though but this was the right amount between the slaw and the fresh jalapeños. I felt like deviating from the usual burger and it was a good choice. Looking around at some of the other plates, I don't think I couldve gone wrong. Solid venue, good food, good beer, great staff. I tried the workmate upgraded truff/parmesan fries and they were good too but I'm not on the truffle bandwagon like everyone else so the $4 option doesn't make sense. The plate was served with a shaped mound of rice in the middle, with sauteed vegetables around the edges, green beans, carrots, zucchinis, onions, peppers and 8 shrimp placed around the plate on top of the veggies. The Yellow curry was poured over the rice for a unique plating. The shrimp were cooked nicely and everything was delicious. I have never had a disappointing meal in this place. I sat near the front door and had a duel with a relentless fly for a while that was a little annoying. But hey, sometime we deal with things in life for the greater good. A top notch , do not miss restaurant in my book and I recommend to everyone I know. This day I purposely left my phone in the car so I could take a real break on my drive from San Diego to Tucson.

The ladies working there were sweet and friendly. Seemed like a high-end burger joint inside of the hotel. We'll definitely be back whether we are staying there or not. It's worth visiting as a standalone business. There are TVs for watching sports and plenty of nice seating. We need to go back, of only to try their burgers.
