I was pleasantly surprised to find the place was not thronged, even though I had waited much longer than I normally do to begin doing laundry on a Sunday. The laundromat itself is somewhat difficult to get into because you have to go down some winding roads and then it's situated on a hill so you have to drive up and into a hilly parking lot, Not fun, leaving can be difficult because Illinois road speed limit is about 85 The laundromat itself is laid out tolerably well, can be a bit cramped when there are people using the machines around you. Folding Tables are clean and plentiful. Machines new and I only saw 1 broken dryer. Can't say the same thing for the vending machine for food, which had a bunch of Post-it notes on it that just said " don't touch me". I can so relate. And there is an old school laundry detergent and softener dispenser for 1.25. I saw no staff around, I only saw the public, such as myself, a mixed bag of people doing enormous amounts of loads of laundry and people doing a backpack full. I did not have to wait for any machines and overall I would say that the experience wasn't terrible. I would give it 7 out of 10 bubbles.

I added half a cup of laundry detergent from my detergent bottle to wash my comforter and the detergent dispenser had a lot of soap in side which I'm sure mixed with my laundry soap to make it sudsy. I did see the lady using "sprayway" to clean the detergent compartment however I don't think that will suffice to fully clean the detergent compartment. The inside of the drum smelled musty before I put my comforter inside and the other machine next to me had pet hair and it stunk so I didn't dare to use that one lol. Before I put my comforter inside the door was closed, this isn't good to properly let the washer ventilate to prevent the mold from manifesting and the musty smell from occurring. The machines are fast and the dryers are enormous, though of course it does take a while to dry your clothes when you really fill them up. I like that you can just keep adding quarters and a little bit more time without worrying that you're getting a bad deal. (It's the same price per minute as it would be if you did a bigger chunk of time, at least with the big dryers in the middle.) The only thing that would make it nicer is if there was more seating and the seating was more pleasant, but I'd rather have mediocre seating and better prices, so, not gonna complain! I don't know her issues but the last few times I've gone in, she is rude and has a very nasty attitude. I was there today, Oct. 24th at 4pm and she was working and rude as usual. I like to spend my money where I'm respected as a customer and receive good customer service. I'm not one to post negative reviews, however, this needs to be addressed and hopefully resolved.
